My holiday bungalow is in the holiday settlement in Dornumersiel.
The beach and the harbour as well as the centre of the village are within walking distance.
The picturesque coastal village of Dornumersiel lies on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park on the North Sea.
The seaside resort is one of the oldest harbours on the East Frisian coast.
Dornumersiel has a beautiful fishing harbour on the edge of the Mahlbumen and offers the opportunity for a variety of excursions, such as to the island of Langeoog (seal banks) or fishing trips on the North Sea.
The North Sea resort and its surroundings offer everything that holidaymakers on the coast could wish for:
A healthy climate, ² sandy beach as well as extensive, firm mudflats.
Dornumersiel is also ideal for walking or cycling tours, as the extensive hiking and cycling paths along the dyke allow holidaymakers to explore small and large sights in the surrounding area.

Well-being days
In this - unfortunately - still cold season, we felt very comfortable and safe in the well-warmed and clean house. The covered terrace deserves special mention. Here we were able to enjoy the sun and the shade from the wind.

Holiday in Dornumersiel
The apartment/house offers everything you need for a holiday. Nice fenced garden for our dog. Covered terrace. Short distances to the beach and the cycle path.

Urlaub mit Hund
Wir waren mit unseren Hund in Dornumersiel , Fischerstrasse 16, Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Man kann mit dem Fahrrad alles gut erreichen. Auch zu Fuß ist man schnell im Ort oder Strand. Hundestrand ist auch vor Ort.Der kleine Garten ist sehr gemütlich. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig.
Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Ferienwohnung, die uns Ruhe und Erholung bietet, das alle und noch einiges mehr, haben wir hier gefunden. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft über Silvester und haben dieses nette Ferienhaus (Bungalow) im Internet gefunden, weil wir mal an die Nordsee wollten. Ganz schnell haben wir dann eine Rückmeldung unseres Vermieters erhalten und haben dann unseren Hund mit angemeldet, der dann auch problemlos akzeptiert wurde. Zur Ausstattung gehören auch Fahrräder die noch erneuert werden sollen, wie der Vermieter uns versichert hat. Eine kleine überdachte Terrasse, im hinteren Garten, lädt im Sommer zum Verweilen ein.
Die Umgebung ist wirklich schön und man kann weite Wege am Deich entlanggehen, es sind auch spezielle Wege für die Hundebesitzer mit ihren Vierbeinern ausgewiesen, da im Sommer natürlich die „Rasenmäher“ (Schafe) im Einsatz sind.
Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Das fängt an mit vielen Dingen die man sonst nicht findet, mit Geschirr im Überfluss mit allen wichtigen Küchengeräten mit einem guten, fast neuen, Staubsauger, eine Waschmaschine ist in die Küche integriert worden, ein toller Fernseher für die Abendstunden ist ebenso vorhanden wie eine Musikanlage. Dass einzige was fehlt aber nicht wirklich wichtig ist, ist der Geschirrspüler, da wir aber nur zu zweit waren und uns viel Ruhe gegönnt haben, war auch das Kochen nicht wirklich wichtig. Wer will kann in der Nähe einige Restaurants finden und dort essen gehen.
Einkaufen ist ebenfalls kein Problem da es in der Umgebung verschiedene Möglichkeiten gibt, angefangen vom MAKANT-Markt im Ort in ca. 800 m Luftlinie oder im 20 km entfernten Kaufland in Norden kann man alles kaufen was man glaubt brauchen zu müssen.
Wer jetzt nicht auf den Geschmack gekommen ist hat vielleicht einfach zu hohe Ansprüche.
