Spend wonderful days with your loved ones in our Eldorstal 2 holiday flat in Bad Harzburg. We can't always guarantee good weather, but we can guarantee cosy and comfortable days in our holiday flat.
Pets are also welcome.
The holiday flat "Eldorstal 2" is approx. 110 sqm in size, designed for 2 to 8 people and has its own entrance.
It is rustic like a Swedish house and is made of wood, which creates a warm atmosphere. It has a winter garden with a view of the wonderful forest. Due to the private garden, the size of the flat and the proximity to the forest, the flat is also very suitable for dog owners.
3 bedrooms and the living room with sofa (has a sleeping function) are at your disposal. If there are more people or small children and an extra bed is required, please contact me in advance.
The flat has Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Furthermore, you will find books, children's and youth literature and board games of all kinds.
In both bedrooms there are beds measuring 1.60m x 2.00m. An extra bed for children is possible.
The kitchen offers a 4-plate electric cooker, an oven, a large refrigerator and other kitchen appliances, such as a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, etc., as well as complete crockery and cooking equipment for at least 6 people.
If something is missing, just ask.
The flat has 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. A hairdryer is also available as well as towels.
The living room with conservatory / dining room overlooking the forest is particularly beautiful.

Location and surroundings of object
You can start your hiking tours or all other activities directly from the front door. The forest and the beautiful brook are just a few steps away. This brings many advantages for dog owners but also for active holidaymakers. However, this place is also perfect for relaxing and recharging your batteries.
You can start your tour to the Brocken, to the Eckertalsperre and to Saxony-Anhalt directly here. The former border stream is only about 200 metres away and wildly romantic.
Mushrooms grow here in autumn and wild garlic in spring.
The supermarket is not too far away. A forest café and a restaurant serving breakfast are within walking distance.
The forest café offers carriage and covered wagon rides. There is a playground about 200 metres away.

Open the garden gate and 10 metres further on the forest begins. The garden is fenced in. Pure enjoyment and listening to the animals of the forest. Simply wonderful. And it never gets boring. There is so much to discover and explore here.

Very cozy
We really enjoyed the week. From there, you can start many different activities, but the small village also invites you for a simple walk. The accommodation was absolutely more than sufficient for our needs. Communication was easy and friendly.
We would love to come back.

It doesn't get any better than this
It is the last house in the street, only a few metres from the entrance to the national park. A small path leads directly along the Ecker River, which rushes wildly. Pure nature. The Ilsenburger Stieg is just one of the many enchanting hiking trails.
The flat is as spacious as a whole house. We didn't need all the rooms. There are 2 flats in the house, but with separate entrances and separate gardens, so you don't hear anything from any other holiday guests. Everything you need is there and everything works perfectly (heating, hot water, TV, ceramic cooker). Very cosy and snugly warm. We felt very comfortable. There is space in the entrance area to clean the dogs.
The landlord is totally relaxed and really nice. We thank him for the wonderful days we had here and this was definitely not the last time we stayed here. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for nature and relaxation.

A pearl in the Harz Mountains
What a gem in the midst of wonderful nature!
We enjoyed our stay very much and this spacious, cosy and lovingly furnished rustic wooden house contributed significantly to this. You immediately feel at home and the natural garden is simply balm for the soul. Watching the birds in the morning, a view of the forest, the dog lolling about, sitting by the fire in the evening: Holiday!
The hosts are also extremely friendly, when we accidentally locked ourselves out, Eldor practically flew in and saved us with a smile, despite it being Sunday after 10pm!
The location is amazing, you can hike right from the house, grocery shops etc. are easy to reach, there is nothing missing and still you have your peace and quiet.
We will be back!

Any time again
Rustic and spacious wooden house with 2 holiday flats and a special charm. We only ever holiday in holiday homes because of our dogs. What we noticed immediately was that everything was very clean. No wonder, because the sympathetic landlord couple always cleans and hands over the holiday home themselves. It is not only because of today's hotel prices that we are happy to recommend the two holiday flats.
Hiking trails right in front of the door, shopping facilities a few minutes away by car and pure nature all around.

Holiday apartment with garden
Location as a starting point for hiking is optimal, the size of the apartment is good with 2 bathrooms (towel holders as nails on the wall - original), kitchen with slanting shelves to be handled with care, oven directly in the bedroom - unusual but acceptable, 2 / 5l bucket on the kitchen ceiling for ???, carpet in one bedroom with dog hair not necessarily hygienic, apartment quite dark but not suitable for toddlers. 2 out of 5 stars.
