Description
In addition to the 20 m² terrace with spectacular lake view, the two-storey, newly renovated, historic bungalow offers lovingly selected furnishings.
With a wonderful mix of practical modernity but inspired by the time the house was built, I have placed particular emphasis on natural materials. Therefore, everything inside and outside is in tune with nature.
For children, the bathing beach directly in front of the door will be a great adventure. The gently sloping shore is ideal for splashing and playing in the water.
Whether you want to cook together in the kitchen, enjoy a midday nap under the open sky, barbecue at the stone oven or relax with a good book and a glass of wine on the lakeside terrace - the holiday home Frieda leaves nothing to be desired in this respect, because I have made it my mission to offer you a place where you can relax undisturbed and unwind!

Your holiday destination is located between Waren Müritz and Plau am See, in the middle of one of the most beautiful, charming and interesting German countryside areas. Fräulein Frieda is located on the shores of Lake Plau and in the immediate vicinity of the nature reserve. Framed by the largest contiguous lake area in the whole of Europe, the small museum village of Alt Schwerin awaits your visit after a pleasant walk. In the village shop "dit und dat" you will find utensils for your daily needs, as well as fresh bread rolls and home-baked cakes.
Of the more than 1000 lakes, Lake Plauer See, with a visibility depth of more than 2 metres, has had the classification "excellent water quality" for many years
One of the most scenic cycle paths in Germany, the "Lake Plauer See Cycle Tour", starts in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. From here you can make wonderful excursions to the bear forest, to the various open-air museums, to lookout towers, to the monkey forest or to the summer toboggan run.

Urlaub bei Fräulein Frieda
Very beautiful clean house, lovingly equipped in a very good location with a very nice landlady. We had a great week here with lots of cycling tours.

A dream for people who need water and peace
We arrived in glorious sunshine and the children and we were thrilled from the first sight. The house is in the second row with a covered terrace directly in front of the lake
Inside, everything is finely furnished. The "raw" concrete floor in the living area really appealed to me in the warm outside temperatures. I am thrilled. The bedrooms are in the cooler basement and therefore very pleasant to sleep in

Frieda has found 2 new friends

Great family holiday
Very beautifully furnished holiday home with great attention to detail.
It is recommended for families with a child. The slowly deepening water of the lake offers lots of bathing fun for young and old. Our discovery tour with the house's own rowing boat across Lake Plauer See was also great.

had 4 magical nights and days spent there with friends. the location is so so beautiful, straight in front of the lake, the view from the house and the atmosphere is just magical! you instantly feel homey & cosy, absolutely everything is available for your comfort!

Fantastisch
We, four girls, spent a few days in November at Anne's dream house and had such a wonderful time. The house is very warm, you have this dreamy view, and you can really switch off or work with a beautiful view. I went for a run by the lake every day and we cooked, baked, and enjoyed nature. Really perfect even in the cold months !!

Fantastic holiday home in a paradisiacal location
Due to the lockdown, I now work only from home and needed a change of scenery. Living in the city, I wanted to find something quiet in nature for a break. That's where the holiday home 'Fräulein Frieda' came in handy. It has a great internet connection, allowing me to work comfortably from the beautiful cottage overlooking the lake. I am a big nature lover and have almost daily, long walks in the Nossentiner Schwinzerheide and on the island of Werder. The house is completely new and superbly equipped! I will book again soon!

Family vacation ahoy
My husband, my little daughter and I were in this bungalow in late summer.
I can recommend it, as not only the adults enjoyed the holiday, but also my little one.
We were lucky with the weather and could often play on the beach, which is conveniently visible from the kitchen and living room. It is recommended for children because the water also runs very shallow for a long distance and only reaches knee depth after about 40 meters.
On a not-so-sunny day, we made trips to attractions in the area, such as a summer toboggan run or observation towers. These are quickly and easily accessible.

Super beautiful holiday home
I was with my husband and son at Fräulein Fridas and we were completely thrilled. The house is furnished with so much love and attention to detail that you don't miss anything. You immediately feel at home. In addition, it is spotlessly clean. With direct access to the lake and your own rowing boat, you can almost jump into the water from the breakfast table. It goes very long and very shallow into the water, so it is ideal for children. My little son was thrilled with the playhouse that is specially for the little ones in the garden. You can also go cycling and explore the area, there are even 2 bicycles to use at the house. For cold days, there is a fire pit behind the house - I would recommend the house for any season, because you can also make yourself comfortable there in winter. We are already looking forward to being guests again soon!

As early as 1952, when there were neither bungalows nor campsites on this shore, my grandparents Paul and Elfriede regularly camped on this beautiful spot with their bowling brothers and sisters, becoming the first permanent campers in the region. In this tradition, every holiday was spent there and passed on to children and grandchildren, for now in its 4th generation, my family's heart beats faster at this place. This is where we learned to walk, swim and ride our bicycles and where, even as children, we admired the stately bungalows right next to our campsite. After more than ten years of searching, I can finally realise my dream with this almost 400 m² lakefront property. And it is precisely this wonderful experience that I would like to share with you, and I hope that you will be just as enraptured.
