Description

Our detached bungalow is located in a quiet and low-traffic park. The bungalow is partially insulated and has central heating.
The garden was renovated at the beginning of 2021, newly fenced and surrounded by a hedge and fence. There is a spacious newly constructed terrace at the front of the bungalow and a large lawn for sunbathing, playing, etc. At any time of day there are plenty of sunny or shady spots.
This bungalow has its own parking space (1 car) at the house. The bungalow was modernized in 2020 with, among other things, a new bathroom and new toilet.
The living room is equipped with new furniture, LED TV; you can receive both satellite TV (German channels) and cable TV (all Dutch channels). WLAN / WIFI is free.
Next to the living room with open kitchen, there is a modernized bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a separate new modern toilet. The two bedrooms are as follows; 1x double bed with double topper (new mattresses in 2023), 1x 2 single beds (can be pushed together). In addition, there is a third bedroom with a single bed.
The outdoor area is equipped with a garden table, 4 garden chairs with comfortable cushions, a lounge sofa, a picnic table, and a separate storage room (possibly for your bicycle).

The park has direct access to the dike and the IJsselmeer. The beach is within walking distance
For the fish lover there is a first class fishing water directly adjacent to the park. For children there is a playground at the entrance of the park
On the beach is the Lemmer Beach Club, where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening

The Beach Club also has an indoor swimming pool with a water slide and a children's pool
Opposite the bungalow park is the sports hotel "Iselmar" with a large harbour, bar, restaurant, bowling alley, squash, swimming pool, sauna, boat rental and washing machines

The infrastructure in Lemmer is excellent, so there are numerous shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and supermarkets in the village, such as Aldi, Lidl, Jumbo and Spar.

Lemmer is a Dutch city on the edge of the IJsselmeer with about 10,000 inhabitants and belongs to the municipality of De Friese Meren. Lemmer is one of Friesland's most important water sports centres and has a central function in the south of the province of Friesland. Lemmer is located in Lemsterland - a wetland area with many lakes - next to the IJsselmeer, for example Tjeukemeer and Groote Brekken. These are suitable for many forms of water sports and fishing

The Wouda pumping station is definitely worth it. It is the largest and only working steam pumping station in the world. The pumping station is located in the vicinity of the bungalow park. In 1998, the Wouda pumping station was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Holiday home

We had a very nice time in this bungalow. The house is located quietly in a holiday area, in the midst of greenery and is surrounded by a well-maintained lawn. The parking space right in front of the door is very practical.

The bungalow is completely clean and well-equipped inside. There are three bedrooms (one parents' bedroom and two smaller rooms), a large bathroom, and an additional WC. The kitchen is well equipped, only a microwave, an oven, and a washing machine are missing – with these extras it would be truly perfect.

The location is ideal: it takes only about 5 minutes to walk to the dyke, where you can see the open sea. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and you can get there in a few minutes by car. Shopping options like Aldi, Lidl, and other discounters can be reached in 5–10 minutes by car.

There is a small play area for children with a swing, slide, and seesaw. Overall, the surroundings are very quiet, making it a wonderful place to relax and recover from everyday life. At the same time, the location is suitable for discovering small towns, villages, and beautiful excursion destinations in the area.

Conclusion: A highly recommended holiday home for anyone seeking peace, enjoying proximity to the beach, and wanting to spend a relaxing vacation.

Vacation with Dog

We were in May 2025 in Bungalow No. 2 and had a very nice week in Lemmer. The weather was wonderful, and the bungalow with the large garden was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, and we were by the water in 2 minutes. It was also perfect for our Coco; she could romp to her heart's content in the fenced garden. We would love to come back. Best regards, the Peters family.

Highly recommended!

We had a beautiful vacation in Bungalow 2 from the Werkman family. We lacked nothing. The beds were super comfortable. We had plenty of space with three adults and one dog. The garden was fenced, so my dog could move around freely. The furnishings are designed with great care. Everything was very clean, and cleaning supplies were available, so we could clean up a bit in between. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything. Small oven, large dishwasher, everything you need.

The private parking right in front of the bungalow was also particularly good.

There were many seating options outside. 2 loungers. Sufficient chairs. Rattan furniture. A bench. No matter the weather, you always find a spot outside and of course inside too.

We had beautiful days there. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the sea. Nearby, you can enjoy beautiful attractions. Highly recommended is "Pantropica" (about 20 minutes from the bungalow).

We will definitely come back more than once! ! ! ☀️

Perfect stay

It was a super nice holiday apartment with a huge garden. Our dog and we were very enthusiastic. Everything was lovingly and comfortably furnished. Nothing was missing. There were many pots and very good pans. Glasses, cups, plates... everything was abundantly available. The garden furniture with cushions were also very good. The contact with the landlords was exemplary. When we had questions, we received an immediate answer and tips. Everything all around was simply great. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along. But no one can do anything about that...

Short holiday

The house is very lovingly and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing. Everything is very clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable and slept very well on the new mattresses. Very nice and clean holiday home

A very nice and clean holiday home. Perfect for a holiday with a dog. The house itself has everything you need. Within a short time you are at the dyke and therefore at the water. The (dog) beach is also only a few minutes' walk away. I can only recommend the holiday home.
In addition, the contact with the landlords was really fast and super friendly. They also responded very positively to special requests. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Holiday in Lemmer

Dear Werkmann-de Vries family,

thank you very much for letting us spend our week's holiday in your beautiful holiday home.
We liked it very much with you, the house is really very cosy and also lovingly furnished. We enjoyed everything very much. The fenced-in area was ideal for our two dogs. Happy and well recovered

Bungalow with complete privacy

Lemmer with dog

Location is great, completely fenced property, fully walkable all around. Dyke and beach reachable in 5 minutes. Dog beach department small.
Everything you need is available in the house, walk-in shower, which was great for my husband, as he is currently dependent on crutches. Unfortunately, the bedrooms are rather small and it would be nice to have a larger wardrobe.
Shopping is a 5-minute drive away.
When our vacation plans for 2023 are set, we will definitely come back.
Lemmer is so beautiful!!!

Relaxing holidays

We can highly recommend this bungalow. We felt very comfortable. The house is functionally furnished. Nice and quiet location, yet central with short distances to the sea and the very nice town of Lemmer
A little more cutlery would be nice and maybe a few more German TV channels. We have enjoyed coming to Lemmer for years and always to this bungalow.

small paradise

We have been able to enjoy this lovely cottage for a bit longer. The large surrounding garden is ideal! We have enjoyed many birds. Even a woodpecker visited regularly.
The shower is modern and delightful!!!
The house is fully equipped. A one-minute walk and you are on the dike overlooking the water. The beach club is within walking distance.
We would book it again in a heartbeat.

Nettes Häuschen

For the first time in [location]:
From booking to departure everything worked great.
Contactless key handover. Due to Corona, we had to postpone 4 times.
Always very nice contact with the landlady.
The house is adequately equipped.
We missed a toaster and more cutlery.
Unfortunately, there are only 4 German TV channels (ARD, ZDF, WDR, NDR), which is actually very unusual.
A new mini oven is available.
New living space and beautiful new bathroom.
Great fenced property. To the water, over the dike about 5 minutes walk. Our dog also felt comfortable. We will be back.

Ruhige, erholsame Ferien

The house is located in a very quiet complex. Pure relaxation. The beach is only a few meters away.
Unfortunately, the weather was very bad, but we were still able to do a lot because plenty of places are quickly accessible. Large supermarkets are also close by.
The house is very clean and mostly newly renovated.
We slept very well in the beds. The equipment was functional, complete, and sufficient. Nothing was missing. We only missed an oven for "quick cooking" like oven pizza, fries, etc. Otherwise, we enjoyed the covered terrace, which allows sitting outside even in rainy weather. The contact with the landlord was always very friendly. A very nice house. We would love to come back!
