Kitchen has a fridge with freezer, combi oven, dishwasher, 4-burner induction hob, kettle and senseo (pads).

All rooms have floor heating, bedrooms and living room also have cooling.
Patio furniture with garden cushions and garden umbrella are available.

Accessibility

The parking space is extra wide so that you have enough space to get out. The access path to the house is about 140 cm wide.
Ground floor is accessible for disabled people. For this there is an extra wide front door, sliding door to the bedroom and low threshold to the shower.
The outside terrace is on the same level as the living room.

Our holiday home is located in the center of Meliskerke with many amenities within walking distance. Including a bakery, butcher shop, greengrocer, supermarket and hairdresser are within walking distance.
Our guests appreciate the central location on Walcheren. Zoutelande beach is about 3 km away. Hiking and biking trails are / are starting in the same radius. Domburg, Westkapelle and Middelburg are also nearby.

In the event of cancellation, the tenant owes the following cancellation charges: a. 10% of the rental price if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before the start of the rental period; b. 40% of the rental price if cancellation occurs more than 21 days but not more than 90 days before the start of the rental; c. 80% of the rental price if cancellation occurs more than 7 days but not more than 21 days before the start of the rental; d. 100% of the rental price if cancellation occurs within 7 days before arrival. 2. If the stay is still rented out to a third party for a (partially) agreed cancelled period, the cancellation charges still apply to the initial tenant and will not be compensated in any way.

additional information:

On arrival we ensure that you have enough dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and cleaning wipes for the first few days.
The beds are made upon arrival.

For children we can prepare a cot and / or highchair, state this with your request. Furthermore, the stairs at the top and bottom are equipped with a safety barrier.

We offer you the possibility to rent a towel package. This consists of a guest towel (30x50), and two bath towels (50x100). The costs for this are € per package.

In the spring of 2020 we expect to be able to install a covered bicycle shed and storage. This will be provided with charging options for e-bikes.

Absolute recommendation

We are already the third time in this holiday home and are still simply enthusiastic and super satisfied! The cleanliness and beautiful furnishings invite you to relax in the house even on rainy days. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired.
The landlords are very hospitable and always accessible, give great tips and are very family-friendly. We feel warmly welcome every time. On New Year's Eve/New Year's Day we were surprised with Oliebollen ☺️
We are already looking forward to our summer holiday in Meliskerke!

If you like it a bit quieter despite the high season, you will find peace and quiet in Meliskerke. Wonderful little place.

Beach holiday as a family

We spent our two-week summer vacation with our daughter in this vacation home. The house is located very quietly in the garden of the landlords. The village of Meliskerke is very nice, has all the necessary shops, and is in a very good location for a beach vacation.
The house itself has everything you need. You just need to pack your personal things and move in and start your vacation. There is even a slide and a small playhouse available so that the little guests don't get bored. Furthermore, the house is very modern and beautifully furnished in a Scandinavian style. The hosts themselves are very nice people who immediately respond to inquiries and are always available to help and even had time for a short conversation. We can fully recommend the accommodation. Absolutely perfect for a beach vacation as a (small) family.

Very nice stay close to Zoutelande

We had a wonderful week in Zeeland in the cottage of Wouter and Kyra. The accommodation is particularly pleasant and also has a lovely garden. It is located in a good area with a bakery, butcher, and a small supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. By bike (cycling path), you can reach Zoutelande in 10 minutes. Communication was very easy and fast. We had left some items in the cottage and they were sent to us within a few days. We will definitely come back again!

Holiday in the green by the sea

Very beautiful, small house with a large garden in the countryside. Ideal for a small family with child/ren. The house has a great garden with plenty of sunlight and in close proximity a supermarket, butcher, bakery, restaurant, and a fantastic playground for both young and old. The beach is a 10-25 minute drive away (depending on the destination) or at least a 45-minute walk. The house is very well-maintained and well-equipped. The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom on the ground floor. The bedroom on the upper floor has a sink. The coordination with Andries and Kyra was very good.

Nice spot!

We had a wonderful stay with Andries and Kyra with our 2 children. From the vacation location, you can easily make various excursions. We were never bored for a day! The kitchen and room together are not very big, but it is manageable with 4 people. Furthermore, the cottage is well-equipped and clean.

TOP holiday home

Very nice, modern holiday home in an ideal location. We enjoyed our holiday as a couple very much. The interior has a very good layout and is tastefully decorated. The outdoor area (terrace, garden) is very spacious, quiet and beautifully designed. The parking space very close to the house is very practical. Meliskerke has good shopping facilities for daily needs and the very beautiful beach in Zoutelande is very easy to reach. It is also a good starting point for excursions into the surrounding area. The landlords are extremely nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and would love to come back.

The landlords offer an environmentally-friendly, sustainable holiday home with a bicycle storage house, including charging facilities for two E-bikes. The house provides a refuge for all interests and is centrally located to the exclusive beaches of Zoutelande and Domburg, all of which are accessible by bicycle.
The landlords themselves are empathetic and strive to ensure a great holiday experience for their guests.

We would love to come back another time.

Very beautiful, newly modern furnished holiday home. We felt comfortable from the first moment. From Meliskerke, we could start many bike tours and were quickly in Zoutelande and Domburg by bike. Very nice landlords. They made every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Best suited for two people, as the layout with double bedroom and toilet/bathroom is a bit inconvenient. Bathroom/toilet only accessible from the double bedroom. Unfortunately, we missed a grill. We brought one from home and left it there for the next holiday guests. We were able to use the terrace and garden in the mornings and evenings. Very good butcher and baker in the area, both quickly reachable on foot (just a few meters away). We would love to come back.
