Description
In a unique location in the beautiful Eifel, directly on the shores of Lake Kronenburg, lies our exclusive holiday home of approx. 140 sqm.
The former dam keeper's house has been completely refurbished and modernised to meet the highest demands and offers up to 10 people the best comfort on holiday. We have recently had a new, stylish kitchen installed.
Whether it's water sports, fishing, cycling (Kyll cycle path 30 m away), horse riding, yoga, inline skating, a walk around the lake or relaxing in the in-house sauna with a view of the lake - no one wants to leave here again.
So that your luggage doesn't get too big, we provide an initial supply of hand and shower towels, bathrobes, bed linen, soap and shampoo, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tabs. Ironing board/iron, washing machine/dryer are available.
For the first, cosy crackling fire, the stove is already prepared and a basket of wood is available free of charge.
On the lake side, there is a spacious terrace with garden furniture and loungers, barbecue and access to your private, secluded sunbathing lawn. The surrounding balcony as well as the terrace are fenced in. Enjoy the magnificent view from there while your children can romp and play safely.

Only a few metres away and partly within sight, you will find a large playground, a water playground, a water ropes course, a beach volleyball court, the Seaschool with sailing courses and a pedal boat and rowing boat rental.
To offer you another highlight, we provide you with two stand-up paddling boards free of charge. With these you can explore the quiet corners of the lake and let your soul dangle.
The picturesque village of Kronenburg with its winding little streets invites you to take a stroll.
Whether families or groups, our lovingly furnished holiday home offers relaxing holidays in beautiful nature with interesting excursion possibilities.
Due to the unique snowy landscape of the Eifel, our house is also an ideal holiday destination in winter. There are numerous opportunities for cross-country skiing and skiing.

Kronenburg is a picturesque historical village in the German-Belgian border region and is characterised by its romantic, medieval townscape. Above all, the almost completely preserved castle ring from the century has a very special charm with its town gates, the old half-timbered houses, the castle ruins and the small romantic lanes. The town of 450 inhabitants lies in the heart of the Eifel, whose beautiful green mountain landscape invites you to go hiking and cycling.
The Eifel National Park is also well worth a visit.

Since 2016, the municipality of Dahlem charges an overnight tax of 1 € /night (children up to 14 years 0,50 €/night) The tax is to be paid to us during your stay and we will then pass it on. In the NRW summer holidays a minimum of 7 nights is required. Exceptions confirm the rule! Sometimes there is a gap in the high season, which we are then happy to fill with shorter stays. Cancellation terms:
If the tenant cancels the holiday home, the following cancellation terms apply:
Due upon:
• Cancellation up to the 50th day before the start of the rental period: 20% of the rental price
• Cancellation up to the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 40% of the rental price
• Up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price
• Thereafter and in case of no-show: 100% of the rental price
In the case of late arrival or early departure, the tenant remains obligated to pay the full rental price. There is no refund.

Beautiful holiday home
The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired; the furnishings are very tasteful and functional. We felt very comfortable right away and had wonderful days. Thank you very much for the warm welcome.

Again and again with pleasure
For the second time we stayed at the Seewärterhaus over Christmas and New Year's Eve and once again felt completely at home - the fact that the weather was more than modest did not detract from our relaxation. :) Especially recommended for dog owners!

Everything first class! Very good service, lovingly furnished. No wishes remain unfulfilled here.
A "Corona emergency solution" turned into a very successful holiday! Our family, 3 generations, felt very much at home in this very comfortable, generously and tastefully furnished house. The three children could play, bathe and swim to their hearts' content. The direct proximity of the house and the beautiful lawn, equipped with comfortable garden furniture, to the lake and the various playgrounds, gave the children freedom and brought the adults unexpected peace. We will all be very happy to go here again. Mrs Leuschen is the perfect hostess! A discovery!

Relaxing break in a very nice holiday home
We were six people and a dog staying at the Seewärterhaus for four days and enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious, comfortable, tastefully furnished, and well equipped, and also pleasantly cool even in hot weather. For colder days, there is an elegant sauna. The large terrace with a view of the lake invites you to cozy barbecues and leisurely meals. There are also plenty of opportunities for sports activities: hiking in beautiful nature, cycling on old railway tracks, swimming in the lake; two stand-up paddle boards and a table tennis table are available. The landlady, Mrs. Leuschen, is extremely friendly and personable. A thoroughly enjoyable stay! We would love to come back.
