Description
Our house on Sonnberg is a truly aesthetic, bright non-smoking vacation home for max. 8 people + baby, in the beautiful Markgräflerland. This nearly new property has, next to the entrance area with stairs on the ground floor, a living and dining room, comfortable kitchen, separate WC, bedroom with box spring bed, and a southeast-facing terrace with awning. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms with double beds, a dressing room/office, large bathroom with shower, bathtub, bidet, toilet, and sink, small balcony facing southeast. Additionally, there is another shower room with toilet and a Finnish sauna (photos to follow), washing machine and dryer, as well as a freezer. There is a carport with 2 parking spaces (also sufficient for bicycles) available for vehicles. Pets are not accepted due to allergy reasons. The exceptional non-smoking comfort house features a Finnish sauna, which can be used for a small fee.
We offer our guests a comfort package to ensure that beds are made and towels are ready upon arrival. This pleasant service can be added for only 10,- € per person. The final cleaning fee of 95,- € must be paid upon arrival in any case.

Location and surroundings of object
Auggen is a very tranquil wine village in the beautiful Markgräflerland region of South Baden, right in the middle between Freiburg and Basel. In a side street in the second row, directly on the vineyard. The terrace and the garden with barbecue are very inviting in summer. On the terrace, which is partly covered and not visible from the outside, you can often have breakfast in the sun in the morning. A partial area can also be shaded with an awning.

| Our rental prices always apply for occupancy with max. 4 persons. An additional person from 12 years of age is added at 15,- € / night, children from 5-11 years of age cost half the price. We expressly point out that the price calculator is usually unable to determine the rental price with more than 4 people and we will be happy to provide the correct price on request or with the advance confirmation. On public holidays/holiday bridges there is a 20% surcharge unless at least 8 nights are booked. At Christmas + New Year we have adjusted the prices, are then already valid for 6 persons. Long-term renters (42 nights or more) are welcome to ask for our special rental prices and for short stays of less than 7 nights we charge a 15,- € handling fee. |

Feel-good holiday.
The upscale furnishings and extensive amenities (including garden furniture) of the house on Sonnberg are excellent. We felt very comfortable there - just like our French friends (six people in total) - from the very first moment. The location was ideal for our 'explorations' of the Southern Black Forest. The host is very nice, friendly, and always approachable.

Family, wine, and the perfect accommodation.
Clean, well-maintained house with all the comforts you need. Communication with the landlords was perfect. Wonderful, open-minded people. Thank you very much. Clear guidelines provided, but tips and information in advance were very advantageous. We felt very comfortable. The sauna in the basement is great and the facilities (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) are of great quality. Sitting outside on the terrace in the evening was great, and we also made use of the grill. Auggen is a very charming village and we really enjoyed the excellent wine (also visited 2 wine events). Access to attractions was within easy reach. Highlight for the children: Europa-Park. Alsace is also very close. (Tip: Colmar)
Conclusion: Highly recommended.

Well-being holiday in the vineyards
We spent a wonderful holiday in the Sonnenberg holiday home and always think back fondly to the hospitality of Gilbert, the neighbours and the locals. We were able to relax in the sauna and spend cosy evenings on the terrace. The house and the kitchen are so well equipped that you don't have to bring almost anything yourself. We were thrilled! The surrounding area invites you to go on excursions by bike or car.

Hardly to be topped !
Based on the information on the website, our expectations were already quite high, and they were exceeded. The house is equipped with everything you can imagine, and we also had the honour of being the first users of the brand new Finnish sauna. Even if there is a rainy day in the Markgräflerland, you don"t sit on your pelt in the spacious house. The vineyards, which border directly on the terrace, are impressive. The wine village of Auggen is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, the Upper Rhine or the larger cities of Freiburg and Basel. A highlight was the wine tasting at the Keller winery. This was certainly not the last time we were in Auggen and in the Haus am Sonnberg.

Very recommendable house in a prime and quiet location
The house is located in a completely quiet area and is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. It is perfectly equipped with spacious rooms (inside and outside) and very appealing furnishings. The reception and communication went well, the nice and friendly landlords were briefly on site at the beginning and gave useful tips for the stay. Thank you for the nice week at your place!

Super holiday home
We felt very comfortable in the holiday home and enjoyed our time. Everything was as shown in the pictures and described. The landlords are accommodating and friendly, check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and problem-free. The house was very clean and the location was wonderful. It is quiet and restaurants and shopping options are available in the village as well as in neighboring communities and can be reached quickly by car. Visits to larger cities such as Freiburg, Basel, and Strasbourg are also easily accessible from the holiday home, and there is also plenty to discover and do in the surrounding area.
