Description
The holiday home in Villa Stauder is located near the village "Genzano di Roma" and has two spacious and sunny holiday homes, with veranda, terrace and sea view. The centre of Rome can be easily reached from here by fast local trains in about 30 minutes (the train station is about 3 - 4 km from the villa)
Holiday apartment OLIVI:
The new, independent and modern furnished holiday apartment is located on the ground floor and is suitable for 4 to 5 persons. In total, the apartment has 70 square meters (sqm) of living space, including 20 sqm of veranda, with views of olive grove and the sea. Right next to the veranda there is the garden with a beautiful meadow to linger and play in.
Setup:
Living room with table, chairs, showcase, comfortable sofa bed, TV and Wifi Internet. Fully equipped kitchenette with 4-burner stove, fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher.
First bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Second bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobe.
Bathroom with bathtub / shower, washbasin, water and bidet. A washing machine is also available.
On the veranda (large panoramic terrace - 20 square meters) you will find deckchairs and parasols, dining table and chairs.
Around the house there is a large lawn to linger and play on. Small walks can also be taken in the olive grove of the private park.
Behind the holiday home there is a herb garden, with many good herbs for your kitchen.
We provide our guests with a free parking place inside the estate and on arrival you will receive a welcome basket with various Italian specialities from the Castelli Romani area.

Around the holiday home Villa Stauder you can walk in the olive grove with more than 200 olive trees and fruit trees.
For swimming you can go to the nearby sea (about 35 minutes by car). Near Anzio there are several beautiful, clean and sandy beaches at the natural park "Tor Caldara".
There are also bathing possibilities at only 5 km distance at the two small lakes "Lago di Nemi" and "Lago di Albano". Especially the lake "Lago di Albano" has well organized beaches.
The visit of Rome is very comfortable. First you drive by car to the nearby railway station (5 km away, large parking available), from where you can reach the centre of Rome in about 25 - 30 minutes with regular comfortable local trains.
Not far away from Villa Stauder lies the village "Tivoli" with its famous villas "Villa Adriana", "Villa d'Este" and "Villa Gregoriana". Ostia Antica (Roman ruins) and the Circeo National Park south of Rome (large park and beaches by the sea) are also worth a visit. Further beautiful excursion possibilities (Riviera di Ulisse, Monti Lepini and Ciociaria) are nearby and are described in detail on the pages of this homepage.

Beautiful quiet holiday flat in the countryside with distant views
Very nice and well equipped holiday flat in the countryside with free view in the middle of an olive grove, ideal for families and also for couples. Very friendly and helpful landlords - have lots of suggestions for excursions, city visits, museums, restaurants, beaches, etc. ready. Flat is also ideal for trips to Rome: train station can be reached by car in 15 minutes from there in 25 minutes to Roma Termini. A suitable vehicle is recommended.

Relaxing holidays in the countryside, in beautiful surroundings
We spent a great summer in Rome and the surrounding area. The accommodation is centrally located for excursions to Lake Albano, to the sea or for a visit to the "Eternal City". But the great area around Lake Albano is also suitable for cycling and hiking.
The hosts were very warm and helpful in every way, but never intrusive.
A plus is the own washing machine and clean towels and bedding were also available. We also enjoyed the garden and the terrace with sea view.
