The attic apartment is our favorite accommodation for couples who want more than a hotel room – but don’t need a huge family apartment. Or for small families with one child. Or for three friends traveling together.

2 single beds (separated or can be put together – as you wish)

Large sofa (not that mini-couch where you can only sit – here you can stretch out!)

Practical kitchen with everything you need for self-catering: stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher
Raclette & fondue dishes? We have them. Pots, pans, dishes? Also.
If you’re in a hurry: microwave. If you feel like cooking: fully equipped.
Bathing:
Compact bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC
No luxury spa (you don’t need it anyway), but everything you need
Extras:
Garden seating area with mountain view (morning coffee or aperitif with a view)
Free parking directly in front of the house
Bed linen, towels, final cleaning – you only need to bring yourself

At the end of a cul-de-sac (= no through traffic, just nature).

The Birrenhof is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by meadows, forests, and mountains. Here there are no cars rushing by – just nature, cowbells, and mountain air. The access road is level and accessible all year round. What you can reach on foot:
200 m to the valley station of the Engelberg-Titlis cable cars
200 m to the stop for the free ski buses (winter) and local buses (summer)
400 m to the nearest shopping opportunity
7-8 minutes on foot to the train station and Engelberg village center

The Birrenhof team is a traditional mountain farming family. The flats are located in our farmhouse. Renting out the flats and providing services are a mainstay of our farming business. Besides the dairy cows, we also keep 4 Freiberger horses. The horses work in the carriage house Engelberg. Carriage driving is a third mainstay. Visit us and have a look at our additional offer.
