This well-maintained holiday home was built in 2006 in the Languedoc style. The house is on the ground floor and has a large living-dining room with a spacious kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (incl. two toilets). Furthermore, the house has its own enclosed garden with terrace and pergola as well as a garage.

The garden has been lovingly designed and planted by ourselves with special attention to the Mediterranean, local fauna. Among the trees are a strawberry tree (arboisier), Mediterranean cypress, pomegranate, khaki, almond, olive and mulberry tree with edible fruit, which provides shade for the terrace seating area. Further in the garden are rosemary (can be used with pleasure for cooking), red and white oleander, vine (one of the grape varieties pressed for Clape wine), red-flowered sage, lavender (real and ever-flowering), real jasmine, mini pistachio, rose, pipe cleaners and many others.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the Roquemer settlement, most of which is permanently inhabited. It is about 700m to the beach on a quiet footpath. The house with garden and terrace faces directly south. The garden goes around the house to the west, to the east two more houses adjoin. A total of 8 houses can be reached via the closed driveway. Due to the embedded location, the house and garden are quite sheltered from the wind. This is very pleasant in the area, as in fine weather there is usually a strong wind from the northwest (Tramontan). The holiday home is located on the outskirts of Narbonne-Plage, a family-friendly holiday resort on the French Mediterranean coast not far from the Pyrenees. About 150 km from the Spanish border, this stretch of coast is located in a comparatively undiscovered region surrounded by vineyards, a large nature reserve and long sandy beaches. Nevertheless, it is only a 15-minute drive to the historically significant, lively small town in the immediate vicinity, where you will find more than enough leisure activities for every taste. In the area of culture, there are many sights such as cathedrals, museums, abbeys, Cathar castles, medieval fortifications, ... Further possibilities are offered in nature (nature reserve Clape directly behind the settlement, wild beach 5 km, Etangs with flamingos, ...), in sports (family-friendly cycle paths directly in the village, well-known spots for wind and kite surfing, other water sports, hiking, ...) and in the context of many other pleasures of life (city strolls, nice restaurants, wine tasting - next winery 500m, romantic villages and fishing villages, many events in the surrounding villages), ... also various offers for children.
The sandy beaches in the area stretch for about 20 km between the towns of Gruisssan and St Pierre-la-Mer and are mostly very wide. There are family-friendly bathing possibilities as well as places for various water sports.

Absolutely recommendable
I would be happy to recommend this well-equipped holiday home.
The landlords were very friendly and always approachable
The holiday home is a little outside the city centre but within easy walking distance, it is spacious and very well furnished. The terrace offers a shady spot for summer days
We spent 3 weeks in this holiday home and we didn't want for anything.

Very beautiful and advantageously designed holiday home!
The house is very advantageously laid out and furnished. The kitchen includes everything necessary. Particularly noteworthy: The terrace with the wonderfully shade-giving tree offers a pleasant outdoor seating area at any time of day. Communication with the landlord was very smooth and pleasant.

Villa Narbonne-Plage
Beautiful, tastefully furnished holiday home with spacious layout. Beds with very good mattresses! We and our two Dachshunds felt very comfortable in the well-equipped holiday home for 14 days. The landlady was always available to answer questions.
