Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely old house. The owner really has thought of everything and provided many nice touches. Great kitchenette and so convenient. The wild beaches are a short drive away. A magical park just near by the house. Local representative Mrs. B. has absolutely no english language skills and had to communicate with gestures and hand signs - nevertheless, she's a very friendly and kind person. What a wonderful trip in typical oldfashioned East-Germany.

Peaceful Christmas on the island

Just back from vacation, we are already being asked to review the manor house. That's what I call attentive service, and our vacation was also shaped by it. We were able to order a Christmas tree for the holidays and soon had it more beautiful than at home. We were missing snow, but the landlord can't do anything about that. The house was perfect for our Christmas vacation, truly charming and atmospheric. Very cozy, we will come back.

Again and again in the winter

We are not typical island vacationers, and this house suits us because it is also not a typical island vacation spot - so not the typical Binz bathing architecture. Instead, it is a very old charming country house, beautifully restored. We lived very quietly again, nobody stomping on our heads, the apartment is designed like a terraced house. A fireplace is of course an absolute advantage in winter, when we returned from a stormy beach walk. A special feature of the Zudar Peninsula: Almost every year, huge mountains of ice floes pile up on the beach only here. We took wonderful photos - it's a shame that they can't be uploaded here for evaluation. The apartments have been awarded 4 stars by the tourism association, which we also agree with - and we will be coming back for a third time next winter.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Sehr ruhige und natürliche Umgebung

free time activities: Spazierengehen, im Sommer natürlich auch Baden und Radfahren. Wer Events und Veranstaltungen sucht, muss mit dem Auto in die großen Orte der Insel fahren.

shopping facilities: Ca. 8 km bis nach Garz, hier 1 gut sortierter Edeka-Supermarkt, 1 ein bißchen kramiger Getränkeabholmarkt und 2 ordentliche Bäcker.

THE summer paradise for anglers and families.

According to a colleague, South Rügen should be a paradise for anglers, well, we decided to try it out. While my wife finally had some time for herself and spent the day at the beach or went to the baths, I went out with the kids. The boys loved it, immediately made friends with locals and the ferryman, and compared their catches with the display at the fish sandwich stand - delicious, but their own catch remains the best. The currents in the harbor basin and on the Rügen causeway are favorable, we caught some huge pike! I would advise against the Rügen causeway, it was closed due to construction during our vacation time and way too crowded. Getting the permit was no problem, Rostock charged 20 Euros for 28 days, nothing to complain about. In the evening, the crowning finale: BBQ lit in the large communal garden, with flatbread, sunset, and a Flens in the company of the nice couple from the neighboring apartment. . . what more could you want?

Diese Ferienwohnung ist ein Ferienhaus

2 couples have good space in the apartment, which could actually be called a house, as it is built over 2 floors with its own entrance, terrace, and practically an additional toilet room on the ground floor during the women's makeup times ;-) Our expectations according to the ad were more than exceeded. Both email contact and preparative conversations with the landlady were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms with a lot of attention to detail made the house a lovely home for a week.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die große gepflegte Außenanlage gefiel uns und auf der anderen Seite des Hauses der offenbar ziehmlich alte Park vom Gutshaus. Der wurde während unseren Aufenthalts gerade mit großem Aufwand aufgeräumt, der Teich entschlammt und Gehölz gelichtet, was schön für zukünftige Gäste ist, aber uns leider zeitweise den Zutritt erschwerte.

Pedaling through rapeseed fields and relaxing at the manor house.

In May, we enjoyed an extensive vacation in Rügen. The rapeseed fields in this part of Rügen are a sight to behold in May, and we cycled along the coasts and paths for days. The cycling paths on Rügen are a bit of a mixed bag, some are really new and good, for example this year they built the wide cycle path from the manor house, where our vacation rental is located, to the Stahlbrode harbor and further north on Rügen. In theory, you can continue cycling all around Rügen. But on Zudar, there are partly terrible holes in the cobblestone paths, not everything is finished yet. Our apartment was finished and there was nothing to complain about: spacious for four people and very lovingly furnished, everything you need is there. The property of the manor house is very large, simply fantastic. We had our dog with us, although he was not allowed to run freely in the garden, he romped around in the park and fields right next door. We particularly enjoyed the additional barbecue area; we sat by the fire for a long time in the evening and made stick bread. Good idea: the barbecue area is a short distance away from the terraces, so nobody is disturbed, and guests can also meet there. Overall, the house is highly recommended in the off-season as it offers a lot of vacation for a reasonable price.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Schöne Umgebung, besonders der Park gleich nebenan. Die Rapsfelder in diesem teil von Rügen sind im Mai eine Augenweide.

free time activities: Radeln bis der Arzt kommt. Mit den Einschränkungen bei der Qualität mancher Radwege, siehe Bewrtungstext.

shopping facilities: Im Ort kein Einkauf möglich, da muss man in den Nachbarort fahren.

Wir danken für Ihre Bewertung aus dem Jahr 2012. In diesem Jahr wurde der kritisierte Plattenweg zum Strand neu gebaut, im nächsten jahr 2017 die Radwegverlängerung bis Garz fertiggestellt. So steht Ihrem erneuten Urlaub im "Alten Gutshaus" Losentitz wortwörtlich nichts mehr im Wege!
