Perfect accommodation for man and dog

We stayed at the Rohn holiday home with our dogs in September 2021. The location is top, the equipment as well, the area ideal for walks with the dog. The evening round at the Schwarzensee as well as the Gasthaus zur Lore rounded off a super holiday day.
This was the first Austria holiday that was perfect.
We will definitely be back.

A great house and an extremely friendly landlady!!!!

The house, the cleanliness and the beautiful surroundings just great. The house is very centrally located with a view of the Katergebirge. Mrs Rohn, the landlady, is very friendly and helpful. For us it was a wonderful, relaxing holiday, we will definitely come back. We can only recommend the house.

A place to slow down

We were there as a couple with two dogs. The house is very well kept and cosy and has everything you need. The house is off the main road and in a quiet location. Just across the road there is a wonderful forest/walking path to the Nussensee for a short walk. There are several restaurants and a supermarket in the area. Everything is within easy reach. There are enough excursion / hiking destinations in the area
We also had two rainy days but that didn't bother us at all. Just turned on the fireplace and enjoyed the peace and quiet
The landlady is very friendly.

We would gladly go there again.

Easter holiday

We spent a week in the Salzkammergut with our daughter and 2-year-old grandchild and our 2 Bernese mountain dogs. The house is very nice, our grandson was especially enthusiastic about the playroom under the roof. Unfortunately, we had continuous rain almost the whole time, so we couldn't use the beautiful terrace and garden as planned. Nevertheless, we made lovely trips to Lake Wolfgang, Strobel, St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen, as well as to Lake Nussensee and the mountains. Hikes with the dogs are very possible and in the villages there is also a lot to see for the little ones and nice playgrounds. We also liked Bad Ischl, where we used a rainy day to visit the Eurotherme. The holiday week was over far too quickly. We felt very comfortable in the house. Many thanks to the Rohn family. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful skiing holidays in the Salzkammergut holiday home

We had a very nice skiing holiday in Ferienhaus Salzkammergut. The house is small but very cosy with the wood stove and the pleasant sitting area by the window. The garden is very big and perfect for big but also small dogs. From the house you can go for nice walks. The hiking trails were good despite the snow. However, you have to drive almost an hour for somewhat larger ski areas. Only a few kilometres from the Wolfgangsee.

Arriving and feeling good!
Welcomed with fire in the fireplace, friendly greeting, briefing and leisure tips for the area.
The house exudes atmosphere, is furnished with attention to detail and absolutely clean.
We felt comfortable from the first moment and spent great ten days.
During the day, we explored the area, went on great hikes and sat and played by the fire when it got dark outside.
Here you could slow down and relax.
The large dog-proof fenced garden was a paradise for owners and dogs.
We can only recommend the holiday home.

Great vacation with a dog

A great vacation. Everything was available, we didn't miss anything. Completely relaxed with our dog, since everything is fenced in. We even left him alone for a few hours. No problem.

Very good family accommodation.

Very suitable for families. Our two sons loved the holiday cottage a lot. The loft with a ladder was their cozy or play corner. We arrived with a German Shepherd. He had a super large exercise area. The property is completely fenced, meaning dog-proof. The terrace is spacious, and you have a very nice view from there. Breakfast and/or dinner almost always took place there. Conclusion: It was a relaxing, quiet, and nature-oriented holiday. Recommended.

Very relaxed!

Despite rather mixed weather, it was a quite relaxing holiday for my wife, dog, and me. Everything we needed was available or provided by the landlord. Their tips for hikes, excursions, and sightseeing were very helpful. Our dog felt very comfortable, and we were able to leave him alone in the garden without feeling guilty. The only thing that should be addressed is the mattresses, which should be replaced with new ones. I will definitely consider this neighborhood for another vacation in this region.

Properly cozy house

The house is really cozy, we immediately felt comfortable in it. Everything was thoroughly clean. The beds are good. The garden with the sauna house is also great. During our stay, there was fog and rain, but that didn't matter. The wood stove heats the whole house, so you don't need the electric heating at all. Good starting point for hikes, activities, and going out for good food. We didn't go more than about 10 km from the house all week, as there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. My partner and I, along with our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs, really enjoyed it. The landlords are very nice. There is more than you need, everything is in new condition. It's clear that the house and garden are well maintained. We lacked nothing.

Relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing week. The garden is fenced, so we could let our dogs run around without any stress. Everything in the house was provided, including towels and bedding, which is not always a given. There were also things available that you wouldn't find elsewhere. Very nice location, view of the mountains. Large plot without insight from neighboring houses with plenty of space for the dog and sporting activities (badminton, etc.). Well-maintained and clean house with plenty of room for two families! Service was excellent and we would come back anytime.

Super beautiful log cabin with very good amenities in an ideal location for hikers. Also ideal for people with dogs. Very large garden!!! Great view from the terrace as well. Beautiful mountain panorama, and very friendly landlords!!!!!!!!

Relaxed vacation

We were there with 2 dogs and the weather was mixed. It was still a relaxing holiday because the house had everything we needed. The outdoor sauna was great in bad weather, and the fireplace in the house made it cozy. In good weather, we could hike in the mountains due to the central location, walk to Wolfgangsee, or go swimming in Ischl. The landlords were very helpful and super friendly. The house is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back again.

Perfect winter vacation!

Had a perfect winter vacation in a beautiful house. The facilities left nothing to be desired. We enjoyed the evenings in front of the fireplace and in the sauna. The children and the dog had a lot of fun playing in the snow. Thanks to the great winter weather, we were able to make many trips to the surrounding alpine pastures. Conclusion: Recommended!
