Description
Welcome to our holiday home and to nature in the Sternberger Seenland. Nature lovers will enjoy the surroundings and also appreciate the short distances to the Baltic Sea, to Schwerin, to Güstrow and central location in Mecklenburg.
Bicycle tours, canoeing in the Warnow valley, the proximity to the Slavic castle in Groß Raden, the Sternberger Burg camel farm, Kaarz Castle, the carriage museum in Kobrow and much more invite you to undertake activities in the vicinity
If you are just looking for peace and quiet, you will also find it here. You can go fishing and take a walk along the Upper Lakes in Sternberg.

Since this autumn there is a new detached house next to our house on the right with nice residents and the pictures are not renewed yet, because we do not have a drone for new pictures at the moment.
In the cold season the stove in the house and the sauna provide a comfortable temperature. The stove is provided with the stairs and a stove bench.
In the house there are 3 bedrooms (two of them with double bed, in one there are 2 couches), the rooms are equipped with wardrobes, at one there is a walk-in wardrobe. On the lower floor is the large bathroom with shower and toilet. The living room with TV is downstairs, as well as the kitchen, the dining area, a utility room with washing machine and a bedroom.
On the upper floor there is a visitor's WC, two more bedrooms, a cosy reading corner and the open gallery with the lake view
You can park your car right next to the house, and there is a parking space for another car.
The sauna is also located directly at the house and for cooling off in the lake you can use the direct access via the stairs.
Bed linen, electricity and water are included in the price.

Something very special
We felt very comfortable as "nature lodge guests." The house is truly special, just the room climate and the look from the wood... Plus the fantastic lakeside location with a small (almost) private bathing area with a boat... The combination of sauna and lake makes the house a pleasure in any weather.
I really have a talent for discovering beautiful vacation homes, but this house is definitely a highlight on my list! Highly recommended!

Birthday party with a youth group of 7 people
Our stay at the Naturstammhaus Sternberg was simply unforgettable! Upon arrival, we were thrilled by the warm, inviting atmosphere of the house. The unique architecture of natural logs exudes coziness and character and showcases impressive craftsmanship. The interior is meticulously thought out down to the smallest detail, combining rustic charm with modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and lovingly designed. Particularly noteworthy is the cozy living area with the large fireplace, which provides a pleasant warmth on cold evenings. The kitchen is excellently equipped, making it a joy to cook. The beds are comfortable and ensure restful nights, while the view from the windows reveals the surrounding nature – an absolute delight. The location of the house is simply stunning: it is situated right by a beautiful lake, perfect for swimming, fishing, or simply enjoying relaxed moments by the water. The surrounding nature invites long walks and bike tours. The tranquility and idyll ensure that you can completely unwind and fully enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. A big compliment also goes to the hosts, who were simply great. Your warm nature and commitment to ensuring us a perfect stay truly impressed us. You were always reachable and provided us with tips and information. Coordination of appointments was also uncomplicated and extremely professional. The Naturstammhaus Sternberg is a true insider tip and is suitable for both romantic getaways for two and relaxing family vacations. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend this unique experience!

Relaxation for nature lovers.
We had a wonderfully relaxing Advent weekend in this exceptional accommodation right on the lake. The clay stove is a real highlight and warmed us perfectly after our walk through the idyllic snowy landscape. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can also cook to your heart's desire on vacation. The good Wi-Fi is also worth mentioning. The natural log house is definitely worth a visit even in the colder season - for us it was relaxation at the touch of a button during Advent. Many thanks to the lovely landlords for this beautiful time-out! :)

Perfect holiday home for a vacation with a dog
We were two with our three dogs for a few days in the beautiful house. The dogs felt very comfortable in the house. In the evening, you can see the sunset on the lake from the terrace. In the mornings, we could walk down to the lake with the dogs or go for a morning round around the lake. In the area, there are also great day hikes by lakes and rivers that you can discover with the dogs. There is a boat by the shore in front of the house that we could use to go out on the lake. The kitchen is very well-equipped, even for people who like baking, everything was there. I can highly recommend the house, would love to come back!
