Holiday flat Horenkamp family "AM DEICH" // Ground floor

This cosy ground floor flat is located in the immediate vicinity of the dyke in the traffic-calmed street Memmertbalje and is very suitable for a large family.

The flat is fully equipped for up to 6 people and has 85m² with three bedrooms and a large eat-in kitchen, hallway with wardrobe and a utility room. The use of washing machine and dryer are included in the rent.

With two bathrooms equipped with shower, toilet and washbasin, you have all the freedom for a large family.

In the fully equipped kitchen-cum-living room, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a microwave and an oven are integrated into the kitchenette. You can enjoy breakfast at the large dining table

On the terrace and the large sunbathing lawn you can let the North Sea air blow around your nose, enjoy sunbathing or end the day with a cosy barbecue evening. We offer plenty of seating and sun loungers for this purpose.

On colder days, you can relax on the comfortable leather sofa and use the flat-screen TV, stereo system and free Wi-Fi internet reception. The underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth

For our little guests we offer a high chair and an extra baby bed, as well as a trolley. In addition, three simple bicycles are available for short trips

As we are allergy-friendly, pets are unfortunately not allowed. Please also note that smoking is not permitted in the house.

A parking space is reserved for you directly at the house.

First house with everything on and with it.

The only point of criticism is that 1 bike was broken and that the seating furniture is different from what is depicted in the photos. The current furniture is too low for older people. The furniture in the photos has a higher seat. But otherwise, only praise.

Sommerurlaub

Our trip to the Grand Canyon was incredible. The vast expanse of the canyon, carved by the Colorado River over millions of years, took our breath away. As we stood on the edge of the canyon, the sheer scale and beauty of the natural wonder left us in awe. The colors of the rock formations changed with the shifting light, creating a mesmerizing display of nature's artistry. We hiked along the rim trail, stopping at various viewpoints to soak in the grandeur of the canyon. The experience was unforgettable, and we left with a newfound appreciation for the power and majesty of the natural world.

Wir baten den Gast um ein paar Details, die zu der nur "mittelguten" Bewertung geführt haben. Dieser antwortete freundlicherweise wie folgt:

Hallo Herr Horenkamp!
Gerne schreibe ich Ihnen ein paar Zeilen bzgl. meiner Bewertung Ihrer
Unterkunft. Zuerst möchte ich sagen, dass wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub
in Norddeich und in Ihrer Wohnung hatten. An der Wohnung haben wir
absolut nichts auszusetzen. Deshalb kommen wir nächstes Jahr gerne
wieder. Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, war die Fahrradgarage und das
Holzhaus. Da sah es meiner Meinung nach ein bißchen unordentlich aus.
Das könnte man noch optimieren, in dem man z.B. defekte Dinge (Grill)
entsorgt. Das war es eigentlich schon. Also nichts dramatisches. Einen
kleinen Hinweis noch: die Fernbedienung des Fernsehers funktioniert
nicht richtig. Sie geht nur, wenn man sie dicht vor das Gerät hält. Da
sollte mal bei Gelegenheit bei geschaut werden.
