Welcome to our "Ferienhaus Maren" ! Completely renovated and mostly newly furnished !
The holiday home is located in a well-kept, quiet and yet central settlement in the village, approx. 250 m behind the old dyke
On the ground floor is the modern shower-bath (with floor-level shower) and a storeroom with a washer-dryer. The bright and friendly living-dining area is characterised by high-quality and modern, yet cosy furnishings. You can also look forward to the extensive kitchen equipment with a large fridge / freezer and dishwasher, as well as the inviting couch corner with smart TV / fast fibre-optic WLAN.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds, an extra cot and another modern WC. In one of the rooms there is also another flat screen TV. Through the second bedroom you reach the attic with two more single beds. Children will feel particularly at home here. Books and games are also available.
The house has insect screens for an undisturbed stay and restful nights.
The house has its own sun terrace, garden and parking space. In the storage room next to the terrace you will find useful things such as a sunshade, several relax chairs, a clothes horse and a coal barbecue
This is a non-smoking house. Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring animals into the house.

It is only about 1.5 km to the beach. When the sun is not shining, the leisure and wellness centre "Sturmfrei" with large indoor play halls for children and teenagers as well as a newly opened wellness area are within walking distance. Playgrounds, shopping facilities, restaurants and a bicycle rental are also only a few minutes' walk away
In Neßmersiel you can enjoy the tranquillity and vastness of the landscape away from the usual "tourist hustle and bustle", go for a walk along the nearby dyke, start cycling tours or excursions into the surrounding countryside or swim in the North Sea on the beautiful sandy beach of Neßmersiel. | During the summer high season and the Easter and autumn holidays, it is only possible to book whole weeks with arrival and departure on Saturdays. The prices include running costs (gas, electricity, water). The use of the washer-dryer is possible for an additional fee (coin deposit). Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price, but can be rented on request directly on site from our friendly and local house manager for a fee. The municipality of Dornum charges a guest fee, which our house manager will settle with you on site. In return, you will receive the North Sea Service Card (NSC) with numerous benefits (including free access to all sandy and green beaches in all bathing resorts on the Lower Saxony North Sea coast (exception: Cuxhaven), free admission to the Sturmfrei leisure and wellness centre and the heated seawater outdoor pool in Dornumersiel). |
Cancellation terms:
The tenant may cancel the lease by providing a written declaration to the landlord before the start of the rental period. The following cancellation fees apply, if the landlord cannot find a replacement tenant: - Cancellation up to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 25% of the agreed rental price - Thereafter and in case of no-show: 95% of the agreed rental price Regardless of this: In the event of a government-imposed Corona-related leasing ban, no cancellation fees will apply to you. Any deposits made will be fully refunded. Taking out travel cancellation insurance is recommended.

Beautiful holiday home with nice hosts
We had a great week of vacation as a family in a beautiful vacation home. We didn't miss anything. The service was very good, and the hosts were especially nice!

Sehr schön
I went to the holiday house Maren with my family. The holiday house is very well equipped. My children were thrilled by the playground, which was not far away. This way, we could combine the children's fun with a nice walk. We had a very relaxing time.

A clean, family-friendly holiday home. The landlady and management are very nice. We didn't miss anything except insect protection on the windows (we are going home bitten by mosquitoes) ... We would love to come back.

Relaxing Break
The holiday home is quietly located and has a lovely little garden that invites you to relax. Everything you need is available. The furnishings are very well-maintained. The contact with the owner and the local management was very friendly. We felt completely comfortable and highly recommend this accommodation.
