A wonderful accommodation!

We spent a few wonderful days at "Haus Gerle." We found the personal meeting with Mrs. Savas to be very pleasant. The house with garden offers everything one can have for relaxing and resting! The excellent furnishings surpass everything; since we exclusively rent holiday homes/apartments, we are more than thrilled with this accommodation! The spacious rooms should also be mentioned. The garden was a true delight for our dog. We thank you, Mrs. Savas, for your hospitality and will definitely get in touch with you again next year!

Great holiday home

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Savas. Communication with Mrs. Savas was straightforward and very nice from booking to departure. The holiday home is spacious and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable, and there was nothing lacking in the overall facilities of the house (kitchen, utility room, etc.). Due to the nice weather, we were also able to use the well-fenced garden and the beautiful terrace. Thank you very much, Ms. Savas, we would love to come back with our little dog.

Whitsun holidays with cycling tours.

Thank you for the lovely Pentecost holidays thanks to your accommodation. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 dogs. It was perfect for all of us. The house, facilities, as well as the enclosed garden with swing. If we want to take holidays in the Emsland again, House Gerle would be our choice.

It was great!

Thank you very much for allowing us and our dog Ludwig to stay at your house Gerle.

The location is quiet with all possibilities to explore the lake and the forests.
The highlight for us was the large living space with the open kitchen, which allowed us to always be together....not to mention the pleasant underfloor heating....5 stars for that.
The bathroom was super large and the bedroom was equipped with great mattresses.

We would love to come back!!

Beautiful short holiday

Landlord very nice and reliable.
The holiday home is clean, spacious and very nicely furnished. Everything you need is there.
The garden is great. And outside you can go for a walk at the reservoir around the corner.
The dogs had fun and so did we.

Schönes Ferienhaus

We spent a vacation week here in July. The house is very well equipped, everything we needed was there. We also liked the quiet location. You can go on beautiful bike tours from here. However, we also enjoyed relaxation at the nearby Geester Speichersee and treated ourselves to a cocktail now and then. Our dog also felt very comfortable in the house and enclosed garden. We can recommend the holiday home without reservation.

Great days in Emsland

We had a few nice and quiet days at Haus Gerle. The landlord welcomed us and our two dogs very nicely and also took the time to explain everything well. The house is very well equipped. We could leave our dogs alone in the garden without any fear, as it is completely fenced in. You can go for a walk easily from the house, the path to the Speichersee and the bathing bay is only a few minutes' walk away. We will definitely come back. New Year's Eve 2021 at Haus Gerlerhof

A house to feel comfortable in with hosts who are fully committed. The location by the reservoir or near the forest is great for dog owners. The fenced property with the great terrace (especially for smokers) is superb. Everything was sufficiently provided for. A holiday home that one gladly recommends. Beautiful house and nice landlords

Everything was to our satisfaction. A very well-equipped house. The coffee machine initially acted up, but a simple touch fixed it. The landlords are very nice people and make an effort to give their guests a satisfied and pleasant stay. They now want to include the separate cost reimbursement of 10.50€ for the WiFi in the total price for a week.

This was our second time staying with our dog at your place, and once again, we were reluctant to leave because it was another fantastic week in the beautiful Emsland for us. Top house with great amenities

Dear Mr. Gerle, unfortunately, the two weeks in your great house passed by too quickly. We really enjoyed it and would like to thank you again. The furnishing of the house is really beautiful, especially the walk-in shower is great! Personally, I liked the coffee machine. And our Remo liked the fenced garden. The area is also very quiet and recommended for cyclists. The reservoir with a long sandy beach and a very nice restaurant "Deichkrone" can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Relaxing holiday in the beautiful Emsland

My husband, our dog, and I recently spent a vacation at Haus Gerle and were happy and satisfied from the first moment until the end of the holiday. The landlord, Jürgen Gerle, welcomed us very warmly upon arrival, showed us the house, explained everything, and also had treats ready for us and Arthos :-) The house offers plenty of space and is equipped with everything you need for daily life. If something is missing, the landlord is quick to help. The holiday resort is situated in a beautiful location where one can take long walks or go on excursions in the area. For good food, we can highly recommend the restaurant "Zur Krone" and the inn "Aepken". The herb farm "Kräuterhof Rosen" offers a delicious piece of cake and various items in their farm shop. The nearby river Ems is also very interesting for anglers (just ask the landlord). It will certainly not be our last vacation there. Very very beautiful and absolutely recommendable.

Mr. Gerle and Mrs. Savas are very kind, courteous, simply very nice hosts who are very attentive to the well-being of their guests. This was noticeable already upon arrival. After notifying them by phone, as agreed, 20 min before our arrival at the holiday home, Mr. Gerle inquired about the route we took, as there was a road closure in Dalum where he would have picked us up to save us a detour. The welcome at the holiday home was very friendly. We arrived at a very spacious and tastefully furnished house. There were also welcoming treats for our dog. The surroundings invite you to hike, bike, and swim in the reservoir (free entry). Unfortunately, we also had to visit a vet for our dog Ole, who is located in Barwinkel only 9 km away from the holiday home and, in our opinion, competent. We (Mr. and Mrs. Reuter with Old English Bulldog "Ole") felt very comfortable and can only recommend a holiday at the Gerle holiday home.

Erholung pur

We had a wonderful rest. The house is very nicely furnished and my Russell gang also felt comfortable. For the next visit, we already have some destinations in mind that were unfortunately closed after the holidays. Instead, we simply went on extensive shopping tours in Haselünne, Nordhorn, and Lingen.

Quiet days in Emsland

The key handover by Mr. Gerle was very uncomplicated. He received us before the house after a short phone announcement of our arrival and very kindly gave us a tour of the house with explanations. He was also very present during our holiday weeks.

Haus Gerle is comfortably furnished, the beds are very good. A nice highlight of the equipment for us was the coffee machine = breakfast coffee like at home! Great shower! Our dog was very welcome, and the fenced garden was ideal for him.
A few steps from the house, on the edge of the holiday home settlement, there are two ponds that are perfect for morning and evening walks.

To get to the reservoir, you walk a few minutes along the lightly traveled country road and through a wooded area. There you can go for a wonderful walk, swim, do water sports, or just relax. A regular bakery, also open on Sundays, can be found in the village. Supermarkets are located about 4-5 km away.

Family vacation

We (family with two children) were able to experience an eventful and relaxing week in the beautiful Emsland. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet holiday area. The children could move around freely without danger, and us adults could relax from the stressful everyday life. Highly recommended is also the restaurant at the storage reservoir (if you do not want to use the beautiful kitchen of the holiday home). There are well-developed cycling routes to many attractions, so the car hardly needs to be used.
The holiday home is simply beautiful, as previous reviews have already described. What we particularly liked is that the mattresses were very comfortable and we were able to sleep very well on the first night.
Overall, the holiday home Gerle and the Emsland are worth a vacation.

The holiday home is built with attention to detail and is lovingly and modernly furnished (just like in the photos).

In this holiday home, one feels very comfortable and can immediately switch off from everyday life. Everything you need is available, including sufficient porcelain, cutlery, and glasses.
On the terrace, you can enjoy the end of the day with the evening sun.

Many thanks also to your cleaning lady who keeps everything very clean.

The surroundings invite you to take long walks, bike rides, and stroll in charming cities like Lingen, Meppen, and Papenburg.
Very close to the large Geester Speichersee. Beautifully designed with a long beach, cycling and hiking trails all around, and a very good restaurant. Pure beach feeling!

Top Ferienhaus

After spending our New Year's Eve several times in the house Suzan, where we always felt very comfortable, we decided to switch to this newly built house Gerle for the 2018/2019 transition. Following a warm welcome by Mr. Gerle, we entered a house that immediately radiated coziness and comfort. The tasteful furnishings, such as the bioethanol wall fireplace, ensure that you feel comfortable right away. It is worth mentioning that the house is very well suited for wheelchair users. It is barrier-free, with a wall seat in the comfortable bathroom shower area. In summary, the house is 100% recommendable. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at Haus Gerle.
