The property is secluded and in an isolated location, surrounded by fields, woods and lakes, which invite you to swim, hike and cycle. The holiday home is spacious and is located in the lower area.
Equipment of the holiday flat:
The living and dining area adjoins the covered terrace. All rooms, including the two bedrooms, are equipped with shutters and insect screens. The rooms are bright, friendly, quiet and offer everything you need for a pleasant holiday. The bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower and washing machine.
The house is pleasantly cool in summer and cosy and warm in winter.
The property is well-kept and invites you to dream and relax. A mill used to stand on the small hill and you have a beautiful view from there.
On very warm days you can enjoy the shade on the second terrace and have an interesting view of the property and nature.
There is a barbecue at your disposal.
A second flat on the upper floor is not rented.

Location and surroundings of object

Melzow is one of the four suburbs of Warnitz, which is located in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. In this landscape there are many lakes that are a remnant of the Ice Age. There are also many erratic blocks.

To the north is the district town of Prenzlau - 18 km away. Other towns such as Templin, Angermünde, Eberswalde and Schwedt are also nearby. Berlin, 80 km away.

The village of Warnitz - (Melzow)is very easy to reach via the A11 Berlin- Stettin with its own motorway exit.
Warnitz has a railway station and you can explore the route towards Berlin or Stralsund by train.

Beautifully quiet holiday home on a great property

The holiday home is located very quietly by the forest, allowing for wonderful relaxation. In just 300 meters away is a swimming spot that invites swimming and where you can often meet nice people from the village and have a chat. The very spacious property invites you to linger and laze around, which we also did extensively. Despite the very high temperatures, it was wonderfully cool in the house, and the apartment was very clean. The kitchen is also well equipped. Only a pan with a lid is missing, which we simply brought with us. However, there are pans without lids. We have already been here for the second time and will definitely come back next year.

Rest guaranteed!

The location of the vacation apartment is great. One can really relax here.
The apartment is super cozy and lacks nothing.
The fly screens against mosquitoes are sensibly distributed and sturdy.
The house is clean and the property is well-maintained, everything is perfect.
The handover of the keys was smooth and courteous.
Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in the right place here. The swimming area, a small lake, is quickly reachable on foot and clean. We felt very comfortable here during the vacation week.
In any case, we will keep the vacation apartment in mind.

Rest and relaxation

The beautiful and spotlessly clean holiday apartment is located on the ground floor, while the attic is only occasionally occupied by the owners. We had the whole house to ourselves and a huge fenced garden for our use. We really enjoyed the large covered terrace, although the evening mosquitoes were extreme. (Mosquito spray necessary). The two terraces and the benches on the property also invited relaxation and lingering. A lovely swimming lake was only 300 meters away. You could buy the essentials in Warnitz (about 2 km). The "Deutsche Eiche" offered a super delicious Soljanka (about 2.5 km). Many adventurous paths invited cycling, and there were plenty of lakes with bathing spots for refreshments. If you had some change, you could get honey, jam, or seasonal vegetables at various private stands. The fruit from the many trees along the roadside was free. All in all, a successful vacation that we would like to repeat.

Dream holiday Uckermark

The holiday home is located on a beautiful property. Pure nature (on the edge of the forest) and incredible tranquility are included. The spacious holiday apartment is beautifully furnished, everything has been thought of (especially in the kitchen :)) We would love to come back!!!!

Great for relaxing and staying.

The vacation house was very beautiful, well located near Oberuckersee, but also easily accessible from the highway. A small bathing lake can be reached in 3 minutes - simply a dream. The cottage is on a huge property and the children had plenty of space to play and romp around. You can sit super on the covered terrace. Otherwise, it was really very nice.

Where fox and hare...

happy to do somersaults in the property. There are deer, birds of prey and lots of green and sky.
The house is cozy and clean. There are fly screens. A nice bathroom with shower and washing machine. The kitchen is okay, but you can cook or bake anything. You have to, because there is hardly anything to eat in the area. But there is endless peace.
Very friendly hosts and support on site.
You need a car.

Pure relaxation

Dear Behnke family,

after an eventful and stressful year, the tranquility in this wonderful environment, combined with a great holiday home and property, was indescribably refreshing. The house is very spacious and in complete seclusion. Everything you need is available. The property is very large and you can relax from the stress of everyday life very well. We enjoyed the time on the terrace, if the sun was too strong, there is another terrace in the shade. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer (Upper Uckersee, ostrich farm, ship lift, Chorin Castle). We wish you continued satisfied holiday guests and would love to come back.

Hello Behnke family, we spent a few very relaxing days in your holiday home. Above all, this unbelievable tranquillity, far away from the everyday noise, makes the time there an experience. The house is at ground level, modernly furnished and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. At the upper edge of the spacious and well-kept grounds, you have an unobstructed view over the beautiful countryside. Other places such as Warnitz, Prenzlau and Gramzow can be reached quickly, even if there is sometimes a stretch of motorway in between. You also have to drive a little further for restaurants. A small lake nearby is within walking distance for those who like to swim. In any case, we were very satisfied and can only recommend the holiday home.

Natur pur

Wonderful secluded area, huge property with a hill and views over half of the Uckermark. The house is cool, insect-proof, and very clean. Comfortable overall, but with older furnishings. However, we didn't miss anything. Except maybe a better TV. The kitchen utensils were lacking. We brought our own travel knives . Nice bathroom with a huge shower. Large entrance hall with space for our e-bikes. The Berlin-Usedom cycle path is not far, but the terrain is rather hilly. Overall, a very positive impression. However, there is little to no gastronomy nearby. Bring enough food with you. Shopping is also a bit distant. There is no Wi-Fi, but usually good 4G coverage. In return, hares, squirrels, deer, and badgers roam through the garden.

Holiday home with a feel-good factor

The holiday home is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Here you will find everything you need. If it's cool, you can turn on the heating.
The property is quite large, with a covered terrace. It is idyllically located at the edge of the forest, where few people go but there are animals around.

We were able to swim in the lake, which is only a few minutes' walk away. The nature, the peace simply did us good, and we will spend another holiday in the Uckermark. We met the hosts, they are very nice.

Ein schöner Urlaub

The house is very pretty and quiet. Everything you need is available. The house is clean and well-maintained. The contact persons are very nice. A small deduction for the unmowed lawn and tall grass. This limited outdoor sports and games, especially with many ticks present. Technical problems on site were resolved within 2 days. We would like to come back again.

Idyll for people seeking tranquility and relaxation.

We were three in this wonderfully located holiday home. The property is large and located by a forest, slightly hilly. At the end of the hill, if the weather gods are favorable, a wonderful sunset awaits you every evening. Hidden behind the bee meadow is a red bench, where you have a good panoramic view. It is ideal for people seeking peace and relaxation. A small unpaved path leads to the house, so there is no car noise to disturb. We had every meal outside, in different places. The surroundings are also very beautiful and culturally interesting. There is a small but nice lake nearby. In the house, you will find everything you need. We really enjoyed our time.
