You have wanderlust and would like to really relax again?
That can be arranged. In this hideaway we have focused on cosiness. With lots of wood and home textiles, the Skandi style makes this flat particularly hyggelig - perfect for switching off and relaxing. You can bring up to two dogs with you.
The ultimate cosiness is provided by the two wing chairs in front of the fireplace on the ground floor, where you will also find a shower room harmoniously decorated in natural tones as well as the modern kitchen, while the living room with cosy corner sofa and 48-inch Smart TV is located upstairs. The bedroom, also on the upper floor, invites you to spend an entire day in bed with an exciting book.
Even in the colder seasons, underfloor heating provides cosy warmth throughout the ground floor.
Our guests have their own parking space at the house, a lockable outbuilding (for bicycles) and a large garden plot with barbecue.
The accommodation price includes free W-Lan and a laundry set per person. The beds are made upon arrival
A baby kit consisting of a travel cot, high chair, changing mat and children's toilet seat can be provided on request
The use of the sauna at the neighbouring Kieholmhof is included in the price for our guests.
On the right side of the semi-detached house is the identically constructed flat "Land & Meer". If both properties are available, it is possible for a family to rent both flats, e.g. as a multi-generational holiday or for families or couples travelling together.

Only five minutes away from the Baltic Sea, this comfortable and well-equipped holiday flat is located on two floors in a completely renovated former farm worker's house in the middle of a landscape conservation area.
Hasselberg is a state-recognised resort directly on the Baltic Sea with a 2.5 km long bathing beach. Hasselberg has the character of a rural community with approx. 1000 inhabitants and offers its guests fresh air, peace and quiet, relaxation and recreation, in special sections nudist beach and dog beach, our DLRG ensures safety, of course without visitor's tax.
Only 6 km away is the Schleistadt Kappeln - without a doubt a town you should have seen. The idyllic town on the Schlei became famous through the ZDF series "The Country Doctor". In addition to a picturesque museum harbour, Kappeln offers, among other things, a pedestrian zone for shopping with open Sundays from March to October, a historic sawmill at the Dutch windmill "Amanda" and the opportunity to take a boat trip on the Schlei. In the harbour area, a large number of restaurateurs also show their skills.

Beautiful holiday home in a secluded location
We had a nice vacation. There is a lot to discover in the area, whether by bike nearby or by car for longer distances. The weather was just right as well. The house has everything you need. It is tastefully and maritime styled. However, there is n o washing machine or sauna. We had taken less laundry because we had expected a washing machine. The outdoor area is also very beautiful and spacious, with a pavilion, ideal for grilling. A disadvantage for people who do not like climbing stairs is that the bedroom is in the attic and the toilet is on the ground floor. The photo in the advertisement conceals the fact that the house is directly on the road to the campsites in Kroonsgard and that the bedroom window faces the street. You will be woken up early in the morning. Taking a nap is also a problem. At other times, one is on the go.
It is very nice that a beach chair is available. This way, one is protected from wind and too much sun. The construction work for the beach reinforcement was completed by 4:30 PM at the latest.
Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay.

Wir freuen uns, dass Sie trotz der Deichsanierung, die nach der schlimmen Ostseeflut im vergangenen Jahr leider notwendig ist, den Strandkorb genießen konnten. Aufgrund der Größe und Aufteilung der Wohnung "Hygge" ist die Sauna nebenan bei uns auf dem Hof (dies steht auch in der Beschreibung im Inserat), ebenso Waschmaschine und Trockner. Dieses Angebot nutzen die Gäste der Ferienwohnung "Hygge" gerne und regelmäßig. Wir bedauern, dass Sie uns hierauf nicht angesprochen haben während Ihres Aufenthaltes.

Cozy comfort and well-being perfectly combined
A very beautiful and relaxing vacation lies behind us. The contact with the landlord was friendly and uncomplicated. He immediately offered his help if any questions or problems arise. The holiday home Hygge delivers what it promises. It is harmoniously designed down to the smallest detail and is very cozy, with plenty of space for two guests. The amenities are good, everything is well-maintained and very clean. Our dog felt just as comfortable here as we did. The outdoor area also offers plenty of space to linger. We primarily used the beautiful pavilion on the lawn for breakfast and ended the day with a glass of wine in the evening.
Since the holiday home is located between the villages, it is perfectly suited for vacationers with bicycles. These can be securely stored in an outbuilding.
For nature lovers, cyclists, and vacationers who prefer a quieter experience, we can highly recommend this accommodation.

All-round carefree holiday
The holiday flat is in fact not a flat but a house (semi-detached). Therefore, the price is fair in my opinion.
There is plenty of space for two adults. The house is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. It is very clean; you don't notice that dogs are allowed.
If you don't bring a dog, you get a beach chair (for free) on Hasselberg beach. We really appreciated it during the hot summer of 2022. You can get to the beach quickly by bike. There are also parking spaces for cars.
The area is beautiful and varied (e.g. Baltic Sea, Schlei, Kappeln, Eckernförde, Damp, Schleswig, Flensburg and Kiel). A detour to Denmark is also not far away. There are plenty of walking and cycling tours to spend the day. In the evening, you can make yourself comfortable on the large couch in the TV room (large TV).

We felt very comfortable in HYHGGE.
We have already recommended Kieholmhof to several friends: a very good address for a holiday with a nice landlord family
We were surprised that there was so much more to the holiday home than described in the online portal: among other things, a large garden plot with a seating area, sun loungers, two large parasols, a bicycle storage room with a foosball table.
The house was well furnished with nice little accessories and on the other hand it was not cluttered. It had a light and spacious atmosphere in all rooms. So you had several possibilities to stay in different rooms.
The kitchen was very well equipped. We could have baked. Everything was there; down to the dishwasher tabs
The weather was mixed. So the wood-burning stove came into use on several evenings. Very cosy! There was dry wood. We couldn't have used it all up. Kindling, firewood and everything to take care of the fire was there.
There was a utility room in the flat; good for storing our suitcases. The surprise: there we found a picnic basket with cutlery and plates. The picnic basket was waiting to be used in the beach chair. Yes, we also loved the beach chair. Even when it was really windy, we could read there sheltered and enjoy the sea. With our bicycles, we rode quite quickly to the beautiful beach to the beach chair
The flat is pleasantly spacious for two people.
The common area - with a large lounge and a sauna with shower and nice rest area - is also modernly furnished. There were many board games in the common room. There was also the possibility to do laundry and use a tumble dryer. Since we were there for a fortnight, we also used this. It was very uncomplicated. So this communal area is very spacious; but unfortunately closed due to Corona.
We would go on holiday at Hygge again any time.
