Welcome to Schoneveld 258!
The place where we and our family experience more than 17 years of rest, relaxation, conviviality and pleasure
We have decorated our house to our own taste. We have chosen light shades: shells, sea and sand. Blue colours, light wooden furniture.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven. (Washing machine and freezer are in the laundry room)
A living room with 2 sofas and highchairs, two TVs (one in the upstairs bedroom) and an I-Pod / DVD player / tuner combination, where you also immediately your holiday photos or movies through your hard drive can play. We have consciously chosen for a 'wifi-less environment': from the hectic everyday life.
There are three bedrooms for 6 persons (with cot: the 7th person).
On both floors we have a toilet. On the upper floor is a shower / bath combination: great after a fresh October walk along the surf, by the storm, nice to relax!
Until late October you can enjoy the sun's heat on the terrace. While you enjoy a delicious barbecue or a good wine, the children play in the sandbox or on the swings and slide in the enclosed garden.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located in a dead end and therefore quiet street on the outskirts of the holiday Schoneveld with at the rear unobstructed views of natural park Waterdunen and polders. The beach is 800 meters from our house and is therefore easy to walk. There are two swimming pools (400 meters and 1 km), a supermarket (Jumbo 1 km) in the immediate vicinity. In the cozy fishing village of Breskens are also several shops and of course a fish market.

Do you want nature, we have it! Would you like to cycle in the polder landscape and ride through villages and special places, which you have never seen in your life, visits? It can be done! Do you want a simple and honest bite to eat, with or without children? It's there!
Zeeuwsch Vlaanderen has a lot to offer the children. Besides beach and sea there are many attractions to be found, for example The Arsenal, Magic Lock, The Exit, The Cuckoo Nest, and much more!
If you're more of a type that wants to be stylish and chic, that's also in the neighborhood! Drive to Knokke and see the most elegant boulevard, the best shops. Antwerp is easy to reach. It's easy to get there by car. And of course you can eat chic food very well. Zeeland has many "Michelin stars". Make a reservation in time!

Cost for vacation with family and dog
We spent a week here with a baby and a dog. The living room is nice and spacious, there is enough room to set up a children's play area. Overall, the accommodation is clean and well-equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. In the ground floor, the heating is controlled by a thermostat and it gets nice and warm quickly. The garden is also quite large. Directly opposite the front door are parking spaces. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach through the holiday park. There was little that we noticed negatively. On one hand, the mattress of the crib should be replaced once, it is very dirty and is a bit too short for the bed. Furthermore, the garden was overgrown, especially the grass was quite high.
Overall, we would definitely recommend the house and would be happy to come back.

We really liked it there.
The apartment, terrace, and garden are okay.
The available bicycles should be checked for roadworthiness. They don't look very good anymore. My wife and I used our own.
There were no tabs for the dishwasher. We then bought some.
The lawn and the bushes need to be trimmed so that it can be accessed better.
The landlord Miriam was very friendly and helpful.
We would gladly come back.

A beautiful vacation in a cozy house.
We had a lovely holiday in Miriam's beautiful holiday home.
The beds were very comfortable, everything clean and tidy. The amenities are good and cozy. We felt very comfortable. The children and the dog loved the beautiful fenced garden. The location is also great. We would have only wished for a larger, better grill; then we probably would have grilled at some point.
We would love to come back.

Pros:
The location was great right by the sea, quiet area, beautiful garden, supermarket around the corner, 1 minute by car, absolutely sufficient size of the house for 3 people.
Cons:
The response times from the landlord always took up to 4 days.
The climbing frame in the garden is rotten; my daughter got seriously injured when she wanted to climb up and a part of the frame fell off.
The grill is unusable as it is very dirty. Unfortunately, we could not use the bicycles because they were locked with a separate key that we unfortunately did not have in the house. On the day of our departure, we forgot to turn on the dishwasher, and as a result, the landlord deducted 35 euros from the deposit and used our money to buy tabs.

A great week
We were the first time in this house, which we can recommend without any reservations. First of all, the super friendly contact, the quick response, and the warm nature of the hosts. Then the uncomplicated arrival with a parking space in front of the door in a super quiet cul-de-sac. Inside, we were greeted by a cozy house that is lovingly and warmly designed, with a fenced garden, a nice layout, and plenty of space. Even if it rained, you could still enjoy the day.
There is everything you need and even a little more, like soap, a little salt, candles or dishwasher tabs, a game for children, a clothes horse... There is also enough crockery, not just the counted set for the specified number of people...
In 15 minutes you can walk comfortably to the beach, which is particularly beautiful here and still quite quiet at Easter. Cafés and a Jumbo within walking distance provide food, and if you prefer it faster, you can use one of the bicycles in the shed...
We felt very, very comfortable and would love to come back...

Meanwhile I have continued the tradition and I have been enjoying with our family for more than 17 years in our house in Breskens. I find everything I need in holidays: peace, sea, sun, beach, the wind in my hair. I am at home on holiday. I hope that my holiday home feels as good to you as it does to me.
