We felt very comfortable.

The location of the villa is just great! Quiet, but only a stone's throw away from Isny! We really liked that! Lovingly furnished with everything you need! Entertainment is also provided for bad weather, whether books, guides, games, DVD... nothing is missing here! We will gladly come back!

... everything is good, but the sanitary facilities ...

One must know that the bathroom with toilet can only be accessed through one (1) bedroom. And if you are not accommodated in this bedroom, you are out of luck. Because who wants to stumble through a stranger's bedroom at night to use the bathroom, possibly multiple times per person. However, there is a kind of "emergency toilet" in the stairwell outside the apartment, but it is not heated, which might work in midsummer, but not in winter with temperatures below freezing. In the morning, the bathroom can only be entered once the couple in the adjacent bedroom has "taken care of everything," which especially for late risers can take up part of the morning. Nevertheless, the property can be recommended if one is willing to accept the sanitary situation, for which one should be very familiar, e.g., parents and children. For two less familiar couples, the situation should be carefully reconsidered.

A holiday castle...

... but unfortunately, we had to bring our own castle dog...

The gastronomy in the Allgäu region is excellent, but this beautiful kitchen, the center of the vacation apartment in this, from the impression, massive house/castle, inspired us to cook together more often than planned. Potatoes from the field next door and eggs from free-range chickens on the property were an added bonus.
We greatly enjoyed this vacation and would like to thank our hostess once again for her patience, calmly and thoughtfully answering all of our questions (and there were many ;-)

Unique vacation apartment.

We felt immediately comfortable in this unique holiday apartment. The description and pictures already caught our attention. We enjoyed the cozy and bright kitchen-living room. We also had several nice conversations with the very friendly hosts. It cannot be ruled out that we will book this exceptional holiday apartment again. Holiday flat of a special kind

Due to the nature and history of the building, this is certainly a special holiday flat.
The design and furnishings of the large rooms spread the charm of earlier stately homes.
The location and view of the house is fantastic. The landlords are very friendly and caring. The available daily fresh eggs from free-range chickens enrich the morning breakfast in the spacious and modern equipped kitchen.

Very nice and spacious holiday flat

This was our first time in this flat and we liked it very much, except for the weather, especially the beautiful location, the kitchen is not only cosy but there was also everything you need for cooking, also the different spices, really great. The hostess Elvira is very, very nice and friendly. For those who like hiking and need peace and quiet, it is just right. I would definitely recommend this holiday flat.

Charm and ambience

Very beautiful old authentic villa in the best location with lots of charm, top equipped, with great views, surrounded by meadow and a fantastically large garden with flowers, fruit, vegetables and flowers, ancient trees and chickens plus eggs. A large selection of books, films and games to pass the time in the flat and a particularly large kitchen with all imaginable utensils. Hiking and cycling trails, lake, town, lift are all close by.
All this and the very nice, friendly and uncomplicated host family makes us very happy to come back.

A completely relaxing vacation

We spent three weeks in this beautiful apartment with a picturesque view and felt completely comfortable. Thanks to the bikes provided, we were able to get around well without a car. We could walk directly into the forest and go swimming in the forest pool, ride bikes to go shopping and explore the surrounding area, and travel longer distances by bus and train. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, and also has a huge collection of games. And above all: the landlords are very nice and welcoming!

Holidays like in the times of King Ludwig

We (a married couple without children) spent great and relaxing holidays at Ludwigshöhe in a venerable house. The location is unique. Quiet and great location. Hikes are possible right from the doorstep. And the best part: the fresh eggs!!! Just incredible.
We will gladly come back.

The holiday apartment of Elvira has a wonderful atmosphere, a large fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful antique living room, lovely bedrooms, and a modern stylish bathroom. Everything is very spacious and beautifully located with great views, a super nice garden, and everything close to nature. It couldn't be better, we will come back!

Vacation like with friends

The old villa is wonderfully surrounded by an old tree grove.
The host family is very friendly and lovable.
The garden is spacious and all paths are open to you.
If you have any questions, help is provided immediately and good tips are given for excursions.
The apartment contains old historical elements with beautiful modern elements.
It is furnished with great attention to detail.
The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired.
The view into the green with an unobstructed view is very enjoyable.
The apartment is highly recommended!

Gladly again.

We had a lovely week for four in the Allgäu region.
The ground floor apartment is very well-equipped, and the landlords are very friendly and helpful.
Bicycles are available for rent. Fresh eggs from the chickens are offered upon request.
There are plenty of towels and countless games.
We went hiking, swimming, and cycling, and it takes about 45 minutes by car to reach Lake Constance.
All in all, a successful holiday.

There were two couples. Please note that the bathroom is accessible only through the bedroom. There is an additional toilet outside the apartment. This did not bother us.

Pure Erholung

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you. The beautiful Villa Ludwigshöhe is located outside directly by the meadow and forest. The paths invite you to beautiful walks, which can also be easily managed with an older dog. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. If you are a fan of games, you will find a large selection here. In the garden, a multitude of various birds chirp from the ancient trees. Wonderful! Very nice landlord couple! And the eggs of the chickens living there are delicious. It was a lovely vacation!

The apartment was tastefully renovated by the Göres family and is fully equipped with everything you need. Plus fresh eggs from their own chickens. However, the layout of the apartment is mainly suitable for families. We felt very comfortable. Beautiful scenery with a very good range of leisure activities, very quiet location, beautiful view.

Deceleration

We really enjoyed our vacation at Villa Ludwigshöhe: the beautiful location on the edge of the forest invited us to lovely walks. We greatly enjoyed the charm of the old building, lovingly renovated, and the beautiful garden, which allowed us to really relax! We liked it so much that we immediately booked another vacation with the Lohß-Göres family for the autumn - that says it all!!!!!

Best equipment, very nice hosts, best location, very spacious apartment with tasteful and practical furnishings, always good advice and assistance from hosts. Cosy flat in the countryside

Tastefully furnished flat in a great location! We had a few relaxing days in nature. The sheep, goats and chickens were the children's highlight, I especially enjoyed the walks in the adjacent forest.
The flat has everything your heart desires and was recently renovated. Ideal for young families!

Wonderful weather and wonderful holiday flat

We had a wonderful week with fantastic weather in the holiday flat Ludwigshöhe. Well, the weather was a coincidence, but we were assured that this is one of the sunniest areas in Germany. The surrounding area is beautiful and invites you to take leisurely walks. My personal highlight was the "hike" through the Isny Moor, the highlight for the family, on the other hand, was certainly the Hechelmann exhibition with beautiful pictures that inspire young and old
I must also mention the kitchen, an absolute dream. We cooked several times, even though we had planned to take a holiday :-)
Parking was of course no problem, there is plenty of space, just like in the flat - we felt right at home. Thank you, dear family Göres!
