Description
Holiday villa with free-standing pool on the edge of the village of Fontès in the heart of the department of Hérault.
In a very special, central location: 30 km to the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, 18 km to Lake Salagou where you can swim and sail, 30 km to the Regional Natural Park Haut-Languedoc (the peaks of the mountains Somail and Espinouse are 1,124 meters high and that of the Caroux 1,091 meters).
Sports activities for every taste are possible nearby, including mountain biking, canoeing, paragliding, rock climbing, golf, tennis and hiking. Directly from the house you can make wonderful walks.
The ground floor villa has a large terrace and a large garden. For lunch, when it's hot, you'll appreciate the shade of pine. Their cones, les Pignes, have contributed to the name of the house. The "Lucques" (typical Languedoc olives) grow on the olive tree that stands in front of the kitchen window.
Board games, DVDs and CDs are available to pass the time in the bright and friendly furnished villa.

Wonderful relaxation
Dear Lario family,
we are now back from Fontès and would like to thank you for the wonderful accommodation you provided us with. We have already stayed in many beautiful holiday homes, but we really liked yours exceptionally well. The individual and very personal furnishings show your own love for the house and this was then also transferred to us.
A special highlight were of course the collected works of poets and thinkers on the toilet ...
So, we spent a very, very nice week in Fontès: a pretty village, beautiful surroundings and many interesting excursion destinations within easy reach. Highly recommended!

Great holiday home with lots of peace and quiet
The two of us spent a wonderful holiday here.
Everything was just right:
- The house is super and with lots of space. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a shower and a bathtub

- The property is really big; with a very beautiful and lovingly landscaped garden. There is

- We really liked the area around Fontès. There are culinary specialities grown all around (wine, olives, etc.)

Gladly again
We had 2 wonderful weeks of summer holiday in the south of France in Fontès with Michel and Heike. The house is very well maintained, is located next to Pezenas and Paulhan and is perfect for a relaxing holiday as a family or as a couple. There are wonderful excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity and many shopping possibilities (food, wine, as well as wonderful little shops to stroll around). It takes about 35 minutes to get to the sea, where there are beautiful beaches, the sea is clean and there are many places to eat in the nearby towns. We especially loved the seafood platters and met very nice, accommodating, friendly, helpful people.
The house is beautiful and fully furnished, lacking nothing. Reading material, books, swimming utensils, all kitchen equipment are available. Children will never be bored, as the very large pool is guaranteed to be fun. The pool is very well maintained, cleaned once a week, there is always a shady spot in the spacious garden, in the garage all the necessary utensils for the beach are available (umbrellas, children's toys, sunbeds, etc.). The 3 bedrooms are large and spacious, so that you can also spend time here with 6 people. In the village there is a butcher and a bakery within walking distance, where you can get your daily necessities. In the house there are many tips from Michel and Heike about good restaurants, sights, excursions, all the necessary information for a relaxed holiday. However, if you have any questions, Linda is on hand to help you with any questions you may have. For us, these 2 weeks were an unforgettable time with wonderful weather, so that we have booked again for next year! Thanks to Michel and Heike for this valuable time!

Exellente location
Vraiment Pignes et Lucques est une excellente location dans un petit village sympathique avec tous les commerces de base nécessaires (excellente boucherie).
Les propriétaires sont très agréables souples et réactifs, la personne qui entretient le bien est aussi disponible et la maison en état de propreté impeccable. La mise à disposition de serviettes, les lits faits et l'absence d'obligation de faire le ménage sont vraiment des plus.
La situation permet à la fois de profiter de la mer, d'un arrière pays riche en sites exceptionnels loin de l'agitation touristique, et de villages de caractère qui ont su garder leur authenticité (à condition d'avoir un véhicule).
On a beaucoup apprécié les deux terrasses qui permettent d'avoir toujours un coin d'ombre et le barbecue aussi.
Nous étions 3 générations réunies entre 76 et 1 ans et tout le monde y a trouvé son bonheur.
Vraiment c'était parfait.

Traumurlaub
Wir durften diesen Sommer drei wunderbare Wochen mit unseren vier kleinen Kindern in Fontès verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet (wir haben nichts vermisst). Es waren unzählige Wander- und Fahrradführer vor Ort, Bücher für Kinder und Erwachsene und sogar einige Spiele.
Zum Haus gehört ein großer Pool, in dem unser zweitältester Sohn Schwimmen gelernt hat. Der Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Spielen und Entspannen.
Diverse Sitzgelegenheiten erlauben es, die Mahlzeiten im Freien einzunehmen, da man dem Schatten folgen kann.
Uns hat die abgeschiedene Lage sehr gut gefallen. Das Grundstück ist in sich geschlossen und liegt am Rande des Dorfes. Fußläufig sind eine Bäckerei und eine Metzgerei zu erreichen. Die Bäckerei können wir sehr empfehlen.
Dienstags kommt ein Pizzawagen ins Dorf, der eine der besten Pizzas backt, die wir je gegessen haben.
Vom Haus aus kann man sehr schöne Wanderungen unternehmen (zum Beispiel auf den Céressou) und wenn man das Auto nutzt kommen unzählige schöne Orte in Reichweite. In den drei Wochen haben wir noch lange nicht alles erkundet. Ein Ausflug zum Meer ist auch möglich, aber für uns war der Pool oft schon Abkühlung genug.
Vor Ort hat uns die freundliche Linda mit Ratschlägen unterstützt, z.B. als wir zuerst den Aufstieg auf den Céressou nicht gefunden haben. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Auch der Kontakt zu Michel war sehr, sehr nett!
Vielen Dank, dass wir diesen tollen Sommer in eurem Haus verbringen durften. Es hat uns sehr gut getan und die Kinder waren sehr glücklich!

Pignes et Lucques: Pignes and Lucques
We had a wonderful stay in Fonte. This is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace and quiet.
The house is exactly as described. All the details are correct, such as good mattresses, a well-equipped kitchen, everything clean, German TV, and very friendly landlords. Good contact, always helpful, very good tips for excursions. Very nice beaches reachable by car in about 30 minutes.
We will gladly come back.

Our stay at this lovely house.
We stayed here for two weeks in August and were very happy to be there. Michel , the owner, was always very helpful before and during our stay and Linda the local lady who managed the house was equally as helpful if we needed anything.
The house is really great, well equiped with good wifi , with a garden and a wonderful pool. This is above ground but not a problem to get in and out of. It is one level but deep enough to swim without problem and play volleyball etc,it was cleaned well once a week.We visited the Lake Salagou nearly every day which ourselves and our two young sons couldn't get enough of. Beautiful surroundings, not too cold water and water activities for fun. Just enough people to make it interesting but not to many to be overwhelmed, We found a little cove behind The Base du plein air that we headed for most days. You can get there by pedalo from Wind 34 boat hire as well.
A wonderful holiday and thanks for to Michel and his wife for helping for it to be that way.

Perfect vacation
We were with the children in Fontes during the autumn holidays. The house is very well equipped (kitchen equipment perfect, many games for indoors and outdoors available for the children) including pool and boules court. Extensive travel guides and hiking maps are provided. On-site, there is a nice and caring house caretaker. The autumn was excellent for excursions and hikes. But the children also highly enjoyed the pool and swimming in the Mediterranean. We are already planning our next vacation in "Pignes et Lucques" in 2020.

Ein Haus zum Verlieben!
Die Lage des Hauses ist so, dass innerhalb kurzer Zeit sehr viele interessante Ausflugsziele erreicht werden können. Der Pool ist großartig, das ganz Anwesen völlig sichtgeschützt, ruhig und sehr komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Lage am Ortsrand mit einer schönen Sicht auf den Hausberg so, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt und entspannt ist.
Das Haus ist mit viel Geschmack und Liebe eingerichtet, die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Besitzer geben tolle Ratschläge für Einkäufe, Wanderungen und Unternehmungen. - Also, ein Haus zum Verlieben! Merci Heike und Michel!!

Equipement absolument complet, y compris documentation touristique et d'actualité. Accueil très sympathique.
Séjour confortable avec ventilation des chambres et grande piscine, pour supporter les fortes chaleurs subies en France cet été 2019.

Schöner Familienurlaub
Ein sehr schönes Domizil, das sich sehr gut für einen Familienurlaub eignet.
Das Mittelmeer ist mit dem Auto eine halbe Stunde entfernt, der Lac Salagou auch in 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Bei Hitze gibt es den Pool im Garten, man kann im Garten/auf der Terrasse essen, es gibt ein "Boulodrome" zum Boules/Petanque spielen.
Das kleine Dorf hat eine sehr schöne, authentische Atmosphäre, einmal pro Woche kommt der Pizzamann, da kann man Pizza auf dem Dorfplatz essen oder nach Hause mitnehmen.
Es gibt Weinkeller in der Gegend zu Weinproben, man kann bei den Nachbarn Olivenöl und weitere tolle Produkte aus der Region kaufen.
Wer Frankreich fern der Touristenströme erleben will, ist in Fontès genau richtig.

Einfach toll
Ich verbrachte in einer Gruppe von 5 Personen die letzte Dezemberwoche in Fontès in dem Ferienhaus "Pignes et Lucques"
Das Haus hat einen geräumigen, schön möbilierten Wohn-Speiseraum, die Küche sehr durchdacht eingerichtet, neben den 3 Schlafzimmern ist das schöne Bad mit Toilette. Es gibt auch noch eine Gästetoilette. Alles ist neu eingerichtet, praktisch und sehr pflegeleicht. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden, sehr ansprechend ist der Garten mit Terasse und einem Blick in die Landschaft "Hérault".
Etwa 5-10 Min. zu Fuß liegt das Dörfchen Fontès . Hier gibt es einen Bäcker und einen guten Fleischer, bei dem wir uns hervorragend fürdie Festtage eingedeckt haben. Für den Rest fährt man nach Pézenas, wo es Markt, Supermärkte und Verkaufsbuden für Muscheln und Austern gibt.
Bei dem herrlichen Wintersonnenschein, den wir hatten, machten wir u.a. herrliche Ausflüge nach Béziers, Grau d'Agde, zum canal du Midi und zum Lac de Salagou und Mourèze. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Maison spacieuse et très bien équipée. Nous étions en couple avec 4 enfants de 1 mois à 5 ans et demi, donc C'est le lieu idéal pour des vacances en famille, il y a une grande piscine sans vis-vis,grande terrasse et jardin. Les propriétaires sont réactifs et disponibles. je recommande.

Michel and Heike. We are a Franco-German couple, Michel grew up 3 km from Fontès. We are always happy to return to the region because of the beauty of the landscapes, between sea and scrubland and the kindness of its inhabitants. We love hiking in the area all year long. We love to cook, especially seafood and we never go to Mèze without buying oysters and mussels in one of the kiosks located along the road. We like to discover the pretty towns and villages around and the many cultural treasures of the region.
