Grandpa’s farmhouse was built in 1872. On the 2nd floor we offer you a spacious 3-room apartment with plenty of comfort: 2 bedrooms, sofa bed in the living room, shower/full bath with WC plus extra guest WC, fitted kitchen with complete equipment as well as microwave, toaster, coffee machine etc., large living room with satellite TV, radio, etc. Wi-Fi available.

Worth is located about 30 minutes south-east of Hamburg,
5 mins from A 25 (Hamburg), 15 mins from A 24 (Berlin) in a very quiet rural area. You can easily visit medieval towns like Lauenburg, Mölln (Eulenspiegel), Schwerin, Wismar, Ratzeburg, Lübeck or Lüneburg from here or spend days or evenings in Hamburg. Forests are everywhere ...SPECIAL PRICES FOR WEEKLY/MONTHLY RENTAL!
Our village has about 150 inhabitants and several small farms where you can buy their own farm products. Old brickwork (some of it Victorian style) and some new houses make up a cosy atmosphere.
The hosts live downstairs and are at all times ready to translate, help with tips about further trips or bookings of evening events.

Beautiful holiday

We rented flat 1 and 2 with 12 people. Flat 1 was occupied by 8 people and flat 2 by our 4 teenagers. The flats are separated by a corridor with stairs, so the teenagers had their freedom. The flats are functionally furnished, it was a wonderful holiday. The López family is very nice and the honey and schnapps were delicious. We would come back anytime.

Suitable for families or together with the other flat suitable for groups

In the open-plan living and dining area, you could have a good meal together or end the evening watching TV. If you like to be out in the fresh air, you can also enjoy the evening with one of the available barbecues or with the fireplace and the available wood. The kitchen is equipped like any standard kitchen. With one small and one larger bathroom, there was hardly any "congestion". The rooms are pleasantly furnished. The location in the green is absolutely recommendable! Within a radius of about 10 km there are 5 different discounters and full suppliers. There is also a climbing forest, swimming pool, museum and other possibilities. We always drove to Aumühle and from there with the day tickets to Hamburg main station. Finally, I would like to mention that the López family was really nice and it was a very pleasant time. In any case, the very tasty honey from the house must be tried.

Great Hamburg vacation

Nice apartment, well-furnished, everything available, clean. Nearby excursions, Hamburg can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Very nice hosts who provide tips and information. Good bakery in the neighboring village, many shopping opportunities within a radius of 4-5 km.

A nice weekend with friends.

We, seven of us (2 apartments), had a wonderful stay at the Lopez family's. The large apartment is perfect for groups. There is a beautiful living kitchen and plenty of space for shared conversations. Despite the numerous rooms in the apartment, there is still enough privacy for everyone. The terrace behind the house invites you to barbecue evenings. The Lopez family are excellent hosts and make you feel welcome.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ländlich gelegen, aber gerade mal 3 km von Geesthacht entfernt und vielen Ausflugszielen.

free time activities: Geesthacht ist gerade mal 3 km entfernt und Hamburg gerade mal 30 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Mit dem Auto sind weitere Ausflugsziel schnell zu erreichen ( Wälder/Seen, ... ).

shopping facilities: Im Ort gibt es 2 Hofläden. Im nahegelegenen Geesthacht gibt es sehr viele Supermärkte und auch eine kleine Einkaufsstraße

A great holiday!

Our assessment: Pros: Very fast response to inquiry. Very friendly and competent telephone contact. Booking was uncomplicated and we were immediately provided with all information. Parking space in front of the door. And, despite the village street nearby, you can enjoy peace (does not really disturb). Everything very clean. Rooms are great, (lots of space everywhere) comfortable beds, large table and chairs for big dining and chatting group, well-equipped kitchen. Everything we needed to cook for our large group was available. (And the note that we only needed to say if something was missing. Great hosts!) The welcome gift was very tasty. (We are looking forward to the honey from the own bees). Extra requests were all fulfilled. (Even wishes that were not expressed were fulfilled! Like e.g. late at night, a fire pit was placed in the garden for us - wonderfully cozy!). Interesting conversations with the hosts (worldly experiences). The garden and terrace offered pure relaxation (with sun loungers and comfortable garden chairs). A "stone's throw" to Geesthacht and the Elbe, walking, playing mini-golf, or trying out the adult playground. Many shopping options just about 4 kilometers away. Apart from a small farm shop - that is just "around the corner". In short: We had a lot of fun, it was cozy, we felt very comfortable and well-rested. We couldn't resist: we were there again in October... and: we have already rebooked and are looking forward immensely to our next stay at Pension 18 with the López family. We are concerned about sustainability within a reasonable framework, which means for us that many pieces of furniture enjoy a second life, that glasses and cutlery are not always the same model, that we dry laundry on the line without additives, and so on.
