Beautiful house, situated on a mountain meadow in the very quiet and beautiful Alpbachtal.
You can start great hikes from the house, nature lovers don't necessarily need to drive.
Super view, great cuisine, pure relaxation. The view from the balcony is sensational. Absolutely recommendable

Location and facilities exceptional

At Haus Sonnenalm, the name says it all. When the valley and the other mountains are already in the shade, you can still enjoy the sun and the fantastic view on the terrace. The house is furnished in a rustic way, a nice mix of tradition and modernity. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. The bedrooms are spacious and offer the most beautiful view you could wish for after waking up. All in all, a great house with a garden and even a small fireplace.

We had a wonderful week in Haus Sonnenalm, a holiday home where you feel at home from the start, the furnishings leave nothing to be desired, it was extremely clean and the location is exceptional! The contact with Mrs Arnold was very friendly and uncomplicated. We will be very happy to come back.

Fantastic view over the Alpbachtal

Dream location with a wide view of the Alpbachtal. Great hikes can be taken directly from the house (for example, Schatzberg) and within a few minutes by car, one can reach other mountains as well as shopping in Alpbach or, if needed, in Brixlegg. The cozy furnishings also invite you to relax when taking a day off! :)

Just because it surprised us: it should be noted that there is only one toilet in the house (the information is slightly ambiguous). So, there is exactly one bathroom without a toilet and a separate toilet.

A feel-good house

We were not here for the first time in this beautiful, cozy accommodation. The house is located slightly off the beaten path in a picturesque, quiet location. The surroundings are beautiful, especially the sunsets on the bench outside. The house was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. All rooms have an atmosphere for feeling comfortable and relaxing. Not to forget is the very friendly contact with the landlady, Mrs. Arnold.

Once again, we have spent a wonderful week here in the cozy holiday home nestled in the greenery. Waking up to birds singing in the morning and ending the day watching the sunset in front of the house. A wonderful holiday home for a family vacation or a vacation with friends.

Wandern

The house is very suitable as a starting point for hiking trips in the middle mountain heights. You receive a tourist card that allows you to use buses and lifts at no extra cost. It also provides free access to the Reith outdoor pool. For shopping, you need to go 3.5 km to the village, so it's best to bring supplies upon arrival and leave the car parked. Very nice contact with the landlady, keys are easily picked up and returned at the neighboring farm (2 min. walk). Mattresses and duvets are good, the pillows were too plump for us, but that's a matter of taste.
Sitting on the bench in front of the house with a view of the valley and the mountain range at sunset is beautiful.
Not far from the house, there is a ski lift route, but it was not in operation.
And if the children are not keen on hiking, there is plenty of entertainment for 3- to 15-year-olds at the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn.
Overall, definitely a recommendation!

Everything is simple, but clean and fully equipped.

Wonderful!

We spent 2 weeks in this cottage in July and enjoyed this time to the fullest. The view over the valley is fantastic and the amenities are great.

It was simply wonderful!

We spent three wonderful weeks in the house of the Arnold family and not only enjoyed being right in the middle of the most beautiful village in Tyrol, but also being so close to the mountains. The house is idyllically located, and one can easily reach the village on foot. It is situated on the high trail, so you can constantly enjoy the view below that hikers have to work for to achieve. The house is unusually well equipped for those who also enjoy cooking, and in the evening you can sit on the bench in front of the cabin, surrounded by mountains, and watch the sun set with a glass of wine. . . . . . Our children were also thrilled! We will come back!!

Stille und Natur

For many years now, we have been coming back to this little paradise with great pleasure! Here, nature is still pure. The holiday home is very cozy and lacks nothing. The view is wonderful, it smells of grass and forest, and apart from birds and the stream, there is nothing to be heard. With the very friendly and uncomplicated rental, the "soul vacation" is rounded off.

Simply let your soul dangle.

We were thrilled! The contact with Mrs. Arnold was great from the beginning. She explained everything and provided us with information about events in the area during our stay. Alpbach is already great, but if you also stay in this house in a top location, it can only be a great vacation. Sole use, three beautiful large bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, and this great view from the terrace invite you to unwind. The house is not luxurious but clean and equipped with everything you need. We were there with a child and a dog, did a lot of hiking, and on rainy days, we visited Innsbruck and Salzburg. All in all, a great vacation and highly recommended!!!

Gemütliches Haus

The house has a very nice location and is comfortably furnished. Everything you need is there (except for a barbecue tongs...). It is difficult to reach without a car, and the way to the village is long. However, it is nice and quiet during the day and at night. Snack stations are nearby. The support from the landlady was excellent.

Beautiful house in perfect location.

The house, as the name already suggests, is situated in a sunny location on the slope, is well equipped, and beautifully furnished. Here one can relax wonderfully. The hiking trails start right at the front door; those who want to go further can use buses and mountain lifts with the Alpbachtal Seenland Card.

Everything you need - Price/performance top

We (two adults, 1 daughter, 1 year old) were very well accommodated in the house. The equipment was of good standard as described. All devices and machines worked. There were no damages.

In the room where we slept for two weeks, our small daughter could also sleep in her own little bed.

The house itself is located outside of Alpbach/Inneralpbach, so if one wishes, self-catering is possible. The new kitchen (approximately 2 years old) allows for all eventualities, there is even an oven! If you don't feel like cooking yourself, the nearest snack station is 200m away, the next restaurant Rossmoss is a 10-minute walk (uphill because downhill). By car, it is about 10 minutes to the village of Alpbach, where various hotels and restaurants offer variety on the menu. If you want to drive further, the neighboring Zillertal valley is also nearby. the Rofan Range in question or an hour away Innsbruck with the "Golden Roof".

There are various hiking opportunities around the house with different levels of difficulty as well as several lifts that are operational depending on the season. In addition to hiking, you can also take bike tours (although sometimes challenging), go swimming in the local indoor pool, or quickly reach the Achensee for a swim. In conclusion, there is something for everyone and thus highly recommended for all. We will definitely come back more often in the future, as we liked the location (with a view of the Wiedersberger Horn) very much and the house is in good condition. The contact with the house manager is very pleasant, and email inquiries are answered very quickly.

Easter holiday 2014

We stayed at this holiday home for the fourth time over Easter 2014 and were completely satisfied. The contact with the landlord is always very friendly, and everything was in order inside and around the house. The house's equipment is great.
We were very pleased with the rustic tiled stove at Easter, as it is still quite cold in the mountains at this time of year.
We would gladly come back at any time.
