Description

Mountain farm at 1300 m above sea level, 4.5 km above the village of Afritz am See. Dogs are also welcome. Numerous renowned lakes and mountains in the immediate vicinity. Free admission to the lido Afritz!
The flat is located on the upper floor of the house, has 2 bedrooms for a total of 4 people (+), a spacious living room and a wide balcony. It is fully equipped with kitchenette (fridge with freezer compartment, 4 plate cooker with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster), dishes, table and bed linen and towels. A washing machine is also freely accessible and can be used at any time, as well as the Wi-Fi network.

Vacation in Carinthia

Whoever doesn't mind driving in the mountains... great.
A fantastic location, after a drive on steep, winding, and narrow roads.
Unfortunately, a radio is missing; we had ours with us!
Internet reception is excellent.

Winter vacation 2025

We felt very comfortable. The vacation apartment is clean and cozy with a very nice quiet environment. You can go hiking directly or three worthwhile ski areas are a maximum of 45 minutes away. We were there in February. The road is well cleared up to the farm.

Pure relaxation time

We are two children and two adults.
The apartment has beautiful large rooms and offers more than enough space for four people.
The garden is freely usable and is wonderful for playing, frolicking, eating, and lingering.
The silence is breathtaking!
Mrs. Stramer is very helpful and friendly. The children enjoyed their time in the barn with the cows and loved spending time with Nacho, the cuddly cat.
Dear Stramer family, thank you for the relaxing time at your cozy and well-kept mountain farm. PS: Your fresh milli is the best ingredient for a delicious breakfast.

Dreamy vacation apartment in a dreamlike environment

In September we were guests of the Stramer family! We were warmly greeted and this warmth continued throughout the entire vacation. The holiday apartment is truly a dream, everything you need to feel comfortable is available. Additionally, the apartment is very, very clean. The balcony is accessible from the living room and bedroom. We were lucky to see deer just a few meters away. Pure nature. Our dog Max also loved the well-kept property. Cows on the pasture, cats to hunt and play with. A dream also for children. We are from Franconia, where we also live in a beautiful nature, just different. The holiday apartment has an additional spacious room with two beds. What surprised me is the quality of the mattresses. Here at 1650 meters above sea level, the air is great and the hiking opportunities are unlimited. The first time driving up to the Strameralm is a bit adventurous, but afterwards it's just beautiful. We have already booked for next year and it will not be the last time. Thank you to the Stramer family.

Dreamy beautiful farmhouse

The vacation apartment is very cozy, nothing is missing. Everything is available.

A large balcony invites you to linger. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom is nice and large, as are the rooms.

In front of the farmhouse, there is a spacious meadow with seating, table tennis, trampoline, swing, and barbecue facilities.

The location of the vacation apartment is great, you can enjoy the peace and nature every day.

Various sights are in the vicinity, for example, Lake Wörthersee, Lake Millstätter, Villach, Spittal, the tri-border area with Italy and Slovenia, etc.

We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to the next vacation.

Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable here. The way to the holiday flat (about 10 minutes drive uphill) was no problem, on the contrary: if you love peace and quiet, and we do, this is the right place. The holiday flat was absolutely sufficient for the four of us, there is a nice balcony and everything is clean. On the farm itself there are some cats, cows and chickens, as well as table tennis and a trampoline - really nice for small and big children. The landlady is very nice and always approachable. And the surroundings with the Nockberge mountains, many lakes and great views are dreamlike anyway. CONCLUSION: The next time we come to Carinthia, it will be back to the Almhof!

As always, simply great.

We have been coming back to the Stramer family since 2007 at irregular intervals and always enjoy it here. We would have come more often if Mrs. Stramer had space for us. However, the Almhof is very popular and often fully booked. The apartment is very cozy and clean. The hosts are very nice and always up for a little chat :) The location is simply fantastic, and you quickly get used to driving up the mountain. We always enjoy the view from the balcony and the absolute peace. The Afritzer See is a beautiful swimming lake, and for those who want to hike, there are plenty of opportunities in this area. You can even start right behind the house. We are looking forward to coming back here again.
