Better than expected!

We had a lovely time in Gisela's apartment. The pictures don't do justice to the accommodation. It is spacious and clean, and at the same time cozy. The beds were comfortable, and it is lovely to sit outside on the balcony. Everything has been thought of: plenty of kitchen supplies, some toiletry products to get you started, games, information about things to do, etc.

Gisela and Sigfried are very welcoming, kind hosts. We were pleasantly surprised by them with a cake now and then, so thoughtful!

We stayed for two weeks, and there were plenty of things to do to keep us entertained during this period of time. We would definitely recommend this place to family, friends, and other travelers!

Very recommendable/Highly recommended

We were warmly welcomed by the host. After a tour of the immaculate, really clean apartment, we could move in. There was really nothing missing, we felt right at home. The covered balcony, where we spent evenings, also offered a wonderful view of the mountains around Bernau. Our hosts had an open ear for all questions and always had an answer ready. We explored a lot and saw a lot, albeit not everything the Black Forest has to offer, and we decided to come back again.

Great holiday flat

Very nice holiday flat with perfect furnishings; nothing is missing and it is very clean!
Mr. and Mrs. Szkwarek are perfect hosts and pamper the guests so that you immediately feel well taken care of.
Large garden and a beautiful view of the Black Forest from the balcony. Our dog also felt very comfortable.
The location offers a good starting point for hikes in the Upper Black Forest, at the Feldberg, at Schluchsee and Titisee. St. Blasien and Todtmoos are also worthwhile destinations nearby!
In short, it was a lovely 3 weeks that we spent there!

Relaxed holiday

We felt very comfortable in the Szkwarek family's holiday flat. The flat is really very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the Bernau valley. Many beautiful hiking trails can be reached directly from there and it is not far to the shopping facilities with a very good bakery and café. The fact that Mrs. and Mr. Swkwarek are very friendly and accommodating people, who also took in our dog in a friendly manner, rounded off the stay for us. Only one downer remains, the holiday was over too quickly. We will have to come back to Bernauer in the beautiful southern Black Forest.

Highly recommended!

We were greeted very kindly and friendly by the Szkwarek family. The apartment is very cozy and fully equipped and very clean. Nothing was missing. From the covered balcony, you have a good view over the Bernau high valley. The location is ideal for hiking in the area. Excursions to Schluchsee, Titisee, Feldberg, and Freiburg are recommended. We definitely recommend the vacation apartment.

Pure relaxation

Ein schöner Urlaub

The holiday apartment is located in the high valley of Bernau. Very centrally located, ideal for hikes to the surrounding mountain peaks. The Feldberg can also be easily hiked. Everything is available in the holiday apartment and you have a direct view of the high valley. Lörrach/Basel as well as Freiburg are also easily and quickly accessible. Shopping possibilities are nearby or in the next town.

Great apartment for a good price.

After a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by Gisela and Siegfried. We immediately felt at home in this beautifully furnished apartment. Everything you need for such a stay was available. It's simply a great apartment for a good price. Highly recommended. There are plenty of fun things to do for everyone, and the area is beautiful.

We were thrilled by the warm welcome from the Szkwarek family. ... we had pastries upon arrival, Bedtime snacks on the pillows, and even treats for our Sammy!!! The apartment is very comfortably furnished and lacks nothing. Not to forget that everything was picobello clean! We would rent this apartment again for our vacation at any time. Perfect Relaxation Vacation

Our first vacation in an apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. The welcome from the Szkwarek couple was very warm, so we immediately felt comfortable. The apartment is cozy, equipped with all comforts, and very clean. Everything was provided: information material for excursions, novels, board games, and much more. The covered balcony with comfortable chairs invites you to relax. We didn't miss anything and recovered well. We definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

More than satisfied..........

I found a perfectly equipped vacation apartment. Nothing was missing, everything was well thought out and the needs of the holidaymakers were taken into account. I felt very comfortable, especially because everything was clean. This vacation apartment deserves its 4 stars. I was able to enjoy my radon therapy in Menzenschwand, approximately 8 km away. St. Blasien is about 7 km away and had all the shops for shopping and strolling. The cathedral and the city with their small alleys and historic buildings are worth seeing. Small boutiques, shops, fashion houses, etc. invite you to stroll around, and abundant restaurants invite you to indulge. Three weeks of mostly wonderful weather helped me relax well. Saying goodbye was not easy for me. Thank you to Mrs. and Mr. Szkwarek, it was lovely with you.

well-equipped cozy holiday apartment

The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need, including a very practical bread delivery service. We have rarely seen such a well-equipped and tidy holiday apartment. Everything is perfect! We immediately felt at home. Plenty of space for 2 people, and from the balcony, you have a very nice view. The surroundings can be easily explored from here. Tips and information material for excursions are also available.

Very nice holiday apartment with everything you can imagine

I would recommend the holiday home at any time. We felt very much at home there. Our Bernese Mountain Dog felt at home from the beginning. The family Gisela and Sigfried Szkwarek were simply warm, friendly, and we had everything we needed. The holiday was very relaxing for us from the beginning in this apartment. We would like to thank the family very much again.

Miscellaneous

We have been guests at the holiday apartment Gisela twice this year and were very satisfied. The apartment is excellently equipped and very cozy. The landlord, the Szkwarek family, is very nice and accommodating, and we would give them the full five stars. We and our small dog, who was very welcome, will definitely vacation there again and can recommend the holiday accommodation.
