Our cosy holiday home is located in the rear part of the small complex. The ground floor is divided into living room, kitchen with dining room, storage room, shower with WC and conservatory. From the living room and also from the dining room there is access to the cosy conservatory with exit to the terrace and garden. The garden is surrounded by a fence and a hedge.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds
There is a reserved parking space for your car at the house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in the quiet part of Callantsoog. The small park is between the holiday park De Blenk and the flat hotel Tulip Inn. De Korre was built in 1990 and consists of 16 houses in 4 rows. Our house is a corner house. All houses are south facing.
The beach is only 450 m away,
as well as the centre of Callantsoog is directly on the North Sea coast. In the seventies, the small village made headlines with the opening of the first official nude beach. Since then, many have been added along the North Sea coast of Holland and Callantsoog has become one of the most popular bathing and holiday resorts in this part of Holland.
The town centre exudes atmosphere: shops, cafes, restaurants with "gezellige" terraces are inviting. During the summer months, various markets, events, life music events and fairs take place regularly. For the sporty holidaymaker there are numerous possibilities: swimming, fishing, tennis, squash, horse riding, cycling and much more. There is also a bicycle and handcart hire service in the village.
In the immediate vicinity of the village, a large part of the dunes belongs to the nature reserve "Zwanenwater". This nature reserve of approx. 550 ha, consisting of meadows, marshes, lakes and woodland, is home to the largest colony of spoonbills in Europe, as well as herons, silver and storm-petrels.
The dune belt in the centre is very narrow, so you can be on the beach in no time. The sandy beach stretches for kilometres in both directions. Six beach pavilions are operated at regular intervals on the beach, which is up to 100 metres wide, distributing deckchairs and parasols and catering for your physical well-being.
At the end of Callantsoog, the beautiful Zjper polder landscape begins, with its typical North Holland farms, windmills and some of the most beautiful fishing spots you could wish for.

The house is adequately furnished, and you have everything for your daily needs. The location is optimal, with shopping possibilities and the beach within walking distance. Perhaps a little information regarding the use of the WLAN would make settling into the house even easier.

Dirtiest accommodation in Callantsoog
In October 2016 (autumn break), we booked this accommodation for 4 nights. The house is to be cleaned upon departure (according to the contract). We found the following condition:
- dirty windows, not cleaned for ages
- dust threads hanging from the ceiling in several places
- dead flies and mosquitoes on thick layers of dust on the window sills
- crumbs from the last breakfast on the dining table
- a brown, dry stain on the toilet
- hair and dirt everywhere on the bathroom floor!!! - the storage room and the storage space above the stairs are crammed with stuff in all directions, disorder spreads throughout the entire house, pictures half hanging off the walls, a broken clothes rack in the corner, old dirty work shoes in the pantry. . . .
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this holiday home, I have never experienced such a dirty accommodation so far. What a pity!!
The distance from the house to the town center on foot is approximately 15-20min, if you prefer a more central location, you are not in the right place here.

Sehr geehrte Fr.Edith,
vielen Dank für Ihre Kritik, die sofort bei Ihrer Anreise angebrachter gewesen wäre. Wir sind jederzeit erreichbar, bei Urlauberwechsel sogar Vorort. Bei unserem Telefonat, bedingt durch einen Notfall, haben Sie nebei bemerkt, das das Haus nicht so sauber gewesen wäre. Vor Ihrer Ankunft wurde das Haus durch unsere Putzfrau gereinigt. 1 Tag vor Ihrer Ankunft kontrolliert. Dabei haben wir auch gesehen, dass die 2 kleinen Dachfenster schmutzig sind.Durch sehr starken Regen war es an diesem Tag nicht möglich. Feststehende Fenster kann man nur von außen putzen, mittels hoher Leiter. Der Wintergarten und alle anderen Fenster waren sauber. 2 Spinnweben, für Sie Staubfäden, im Dachstuhl haben wir nach Ihrer Abreise abgesaugt. Leider waren am nächsten Tag wieder welche da. Die 3 Mücken/Fliegen haben wir von einer Fensterbank entfernt, die dicke Schicht Staub wurde nicht gefunden. Das Bild wurde grade geschoben.
In Ihrer letzten Mail haben Sie uns gebeten, dass wir Ihnen die Reinigungskosten, die der letzte Mieter gezahlt hat zu erstatten, damit Ihre Unannehmlichkeiten minimal gemildert werden. Obwohl Sie schreiben, dass das Haus laut Vertrag stets bei der Abreise zu reinigen ist. Leider können wir darauf nicht eingehen, da Sie uns keine Chance gelassen haben, uns Vorort über die Sachlage ein Bild zu machen um den Mangel zu beheben.
Nach Ihrer Abreise haben wir die Fenster geschlossen, die Heizungstherme wieder angestellt, sämtliche Sicherungen wieder eingesteckt. Unsere Deko zusammengesucht. Die fehlende Schraube in den Kleiderständer gedreht. Die Tischdecke vom Esszimmer haben wir noch nicht gefunden.
Schade, dass es kein Bewertungsportal für Mieter gibt. Vermieter, die nicht mit Vermietgesellschaften arbeiten, kennen den Zustand Ihres Hauses vor und nach der Vermietung.

Very nice holiday home to feel good
We cannot understand the last review at all, as we were there a few days earlier. The cottage is very cozy, the equipment leaves hardly any wishes unfulfilled. Sitting in the winter garden in the evenings and looking into the beautiful enclosed garden is pure vacation. The cleanliness is also impeccable. Clean bathrooms and super clean beds. The friendly landlords are always available. The beach and the small center of Callantsoog are easily accessible on foot.

Fully equipped accommodation (really everything you could need is there, furnishings are more cozy and homely than ultra-modern). It would be optimal to have some information about the location and surroundings in the house. There is ample space with plenty of rooms, as well as a nicely sheltered garden. The beach and town center are within easy walking distance. The beach is truly fantastic. We felt very comfortable.

Cozy holiday home with everything you need for a nice vacation. Very nice landlords :-)
A beautiful holiday home with everything you need. Nothing is missing. You just feel comfortable. We have been there now for the 3rd time and will certainly spend our holidays there more often. The beach is within easy walking distance and the same goes for shopping opportunities. We are glad to have found such nice landlords.
