Description
Quietly located but conveniently situated, our holiday home is ideally situated between Horumersiel and Schillig. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a cosy living room with TV and dining area.
To the rear in south/west direction there is an extensive terrace and a small garden (lawn) with a view of the dyke.
Footpath to the dike approx. 70 mtr. and to the beach approx. 900 mtr.
In addition, there is a garden house in the garden area with many utensils (handcart/sand toys) to and for the beach.
Here you can also store your bicycles and other things.
There is a private car park in front of the house.
As a special service, your holiday with dog (always with request).
As far as the stay and the renting is concerned, everything is taken over by

Here is one more remark
We are now renting out the house for the 8th year. And with some success.
Unfortunately we can't show any ratings. This is because we have changed the landlord platform (formerly FeWodirekt).
Thus, all ratings have remained with the FeWo.
The reason for the change was that FeWo only allows online booking. In addition, the provider charges the holiday guest an additional service fee of 8 - 12 per cent on the rental price. That just seemed too much of a cost to us.
In addition, too much contact with the guests is lost.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home "Kiek in am Deich" is located between Horumersiel and Schillig. Very ideal, because the footpath to Schillig/ beach and to the centre of Horumersiel is only approx. 800/900 mtr each.
The approach from the north is generally almost problem-free via the A29
Schillig itself lies directly on the North Sea. The region is ideal for surfing, kitesurfing, beach walking and holidays with children.
Mudflat hiking is also very popular.
You can even play golf in the immediate vicinity. Wilhelmshaven Golf Club near Schortens is about 18 km away

The sixth person adds 6,00 EUR to the rental price |

For animals there is an additional one-time charge of 15,00 EUR.
In addition to the rental price we charge a one-time service charge of 12,50 EUR
A deposit of 30,00 EUR - 50,00 EUR will be charged and returned after approx. one week from departure.
The rental is exclusively through us as the landlord in the form of a rental contract.

Feel like at home
We (family) stayed for almost 2 weeks in the very cosy Kiek in am Deich and really felt very comfortable. The "cottage" is so nicely and tastefully furnished and above all super equipped. There is a hairdryer both upstairs and downstairs in the bathroom. Crockery, cooking utensils, pots, etc., even toipa and baking paper are available. And also the ingredients for a first coffee, for which you are very welcome to make a donation in the little donation box in the kitchen!
The garden is small, but nice. And there is also a barbecue. There is plenty of room in the garden hut for bicycles you have brought with you, and there is even a "bread wheel".
By the way, you can reach the beach in Schillig and the bakery in 5-7 minutes by bike
We can only recommend the holiday flat!
