bungalow situated in a cornfield. Lovingly and very well equipped with a wood-burning stove to relax in. Terrace and garden furniture are not visible behind the house to the cornfield with unobstructed view to the west. In front of the house, with morning sun, is the breakfast terrace with beach chair. Non-smokers, allergy friendly, no pets.

Our Kornfeld holiday home is located in Dornumersiel in the holiday settlement directly behind the dyke at the beginning of a dead-end street. You can't live closer to the water of the North Sea. Why exactly this object: It is the location, unobstructed to the west. Here you can still see the sunset and not just describe it. No through traffic

The largely unspoilt landscape in the holiday area on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park invites you to go on extensive hikes directly on the North Sea coast in the Wadden Sea National Park by bike or on foot.
Proximity to the beach, fishing harbour and swimming pool guarantee an active or relaxing holiday in all four seasons.
As a state-recognised North Sea spa, Dornumersiel also offers health cures.
The large pumping station at the harbour connects the North Sea with the Mahlbusen (small reservoir and former access to the old harbour in Westeraccumersiel). The Mahlbusen and the newly created Seepark West offer all kinds of leisure activities such as pedal boating, rowing, fishing, mini-golfing, skating, etc. or walking/walking.
The (active!) fishing harbour with its shrimp cutter fleet offers, in addition to its East Frisian flair and hustle and bustle, the opportunity to go on fishing trips (MS Freya or local cutter) or to buy freshly caught fish in the harbour and, of course, also in the village.
If you want to go on a mudflat hike off Dornumersiel (or the surrounding area), just drop by the National Park House in Dornumersiel. Here you can experience the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea up close. We will also be happy to recommend a local provider.
In addition to all these things, of course, you can't forget cycling and walking. There are long, well-maintained cycle paths along the dikes, so that you can also make a wonderful detour to other coastal bathing resorts and places of interest - and always in the immediate vicinity of the water.
There is no shortage of leisure activities for the holidaymaker in Dornumersiel. First of all, there is a large sandy beach with an adventure playground. There is also a heated open-air seawater swimming pool in the foreland of the dyke (also near the water), with large sunbathing lawns and beach chairs. Sports enthusiasts can play tennis, table tennis, skating, surfing and kite surfing.
For the little ones, the Doroness Club with childcare in the Reethaus am Meer offers a varied and colourful programme.
You will also find a large kite meadow next to the open-air seawater pool.
For the children, the large children's playhouse (barn), a Reethaus am Meer with a reading hall and lots of play equipment has opened its doors.
A very special experience for the children (but also adults): A visit to the seal breeding station in Norddeich, with daily feeding or marvelling at a sperm whale stranded here in the whale museum
