Description
Quiet house with large pool (6 x 12 m) and spacious gardens. The idyllic property extends over 3 levels. On the upper level is the cozy-Provençal-decorated main building. A natural stone staircase leads to the enchanting "Refugium" with double bed, built-in wardrobe, bathroom, toilet and small terrace. A few steps below that leads to the large pool area with seating and sun loungers. An adjacent pool house offers another small bedroom with bathroom and sauna. A pergola with integrated grill kitchen complete the comfortable layout. Here you can also enjoy the dreamlike ambience in the evening, with a good, country-typical rosé and a wonderful view of the romantically illuminated surroundings. Below the pool level invites the natural plot for a tour or how about a game of pétanque / Boule under shady plane trees?

Location and surroundings of object
Seillans (2100 inhabitants) is located about 350 meters high in the department of Var and is one of the most charming villages in the hinterland of Cannes. It charms its visitors as they walk through the medieval streets and its picturesque old houses, several fountains and squares. The village idyll and the magnificent surroundings were appreciated by the great surrealist Max Ernst, who spent his last years here (permanent exhibition in the village). Seillans has a good infrastructure with a supermarket, small shops, pharmacy and doctors. It is an ideal starting point for excursions to the elegant coastal towns of Cannes (45 km), Nice (80 km), Monaco or the perfume town of Grasse (35 km), but also to the breathtaking gorges of the Grand Canon du Verdon. Just 20 km away golfers will find their paradise, and the gliding and hang gliding center Fayence is only a stone's throw away!

The two functional kitchens - in the main building and by the pool - are each equipped with a ceramic hob and oven, a large fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. The pergola kitchen by the pool also includes a Weber gas grill. Here you can enjoy a fresh espresso from the Delonghi machine. On the park-like grounds under shady plane trees a boules court is created.

Holiday in paradise
If you are a fan of the South of France, you will love this house - with everything that goes with it. We spent a week with our children during the autumn holidays and more than enjoyed it. The house, the grounds, the garden and the pool are fantastic and leave nothing to be desired - the outdoor kitchen with Weber grill invites you to linger by the pool and the grounds are lovingly and tastefully designed and very well maintained. Nothing is missing - from the equipment of the two kitchens to the washing machine and dryer - everything is there.
The location, the view and the garden are a dream - the wanderlust is already great!

Very beautiful holiday
We felt very comfortable in the house with our family including grandchild. The pool was closed off - so it was very safe for the little one. The property was very well maintained, a gardener came several times to look after it. The house and the dependency are perfectly equipped, you immediately felt at home. The pool is very big and invites you to swim and was also looked after by a pool company. We will certainly come again.

A little paradise!
We spent our holidays at "Petit souci" for the second time. For us, it is truly a "petit paradis" - the very large, secluded property, well maintained, a beautiful view and the wonderful pool, which is especially attractive for children. Everyone can find their own retreat if they wish; there are lovely corners to relax in on all levels. From spring to autumn, the well-equipped kitchen by the pool is likely to be in use. In the house, which offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, we only stayed to sleep. In the evening, you can sit by the beautifully illuminated pool and listen to the crickets, enjoy the romantic atmosphere and the spicy air, preferably with a cool rosé from the region. There are first-class wineries nearby, but the huge supermarket at the foot of Fayence also has an impressive range. There are plenty of excursion options in this corner of Provence: it's only about 35 kilometres to the sea, but we like the scenic hinterland better: especially the unique Gorges du Verdon should not be missed (at least the southern stretch to Lac de St. Croix). The enchanting village of Seillans, which has not yet been overrun by tourism, can also be reached on foot off the main road. You can enjoy art in the footsteps of Max Ernst, who spent the last years of his life in Seillans, as evidenced by an exhibition in the village. And beyond that in the wider surroundings (Fondation Maeght in St. Paul de Vence), museums in Nice etc.).
Especially when we came back from an excursion, especially from the lively-bustling coast, we enjoyed the silence and wonderful atmosphere of the property
We are already looking forward to our next holiday in this little paradise!

This property has been awarded 5 stars in an online portal. Annette H. wrote 2017 Unfortunately, we were only 2 weeks in June 2017 in the villa .... our expectations were exceeded by far! We have already rented many villas, but here is everything! Wonderful pool, secluded property surrounded by nature (fully fenced), nothing is missing, the kitchens (there are two kitchens, one in the main house, one by the pool) are perfectly equipped, which can be said of a few holiday homes. The ambience of the property is just wonderful. We were with two families (with adult children) here and had enough space, sometimes to stay out of the way to meet again in the pool kitchen to eat together ... spacious loungers, secluded shady spots, idyllic views of the wonderful nature , even at night - a crazy starry sky that you can watch for hours in the beach chairs. It was an unforgettable holiday!
