Our guests describe the wooden log cabins, mountain and holiday chalets, which are located on the edge of the forest in the heart of the Bavarian Forest and are therefore the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, as romantic. the exclusive chalet-style holiday homes for 1 - 8 people with their open fireplace provide the desired cottage romance, and the wonderful secluded location with a view of the Kaitersberg mountain rounds off your holiday in the idyll.the Sonnenschein holiday home (without fireplace) for 2 people also has a fenced-in terrace.
For variety and excitement, only the Bavarian Forest provides in Bavaria, during your holiday and your holiday. Whether for the whole family, for children, parents or grandparents - surely there is something for everyone. Our holiday homes are located in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, on the edge of the village, directly on the forest, at the foot of the Kaitersberg (starting point for wonderful hikes), in a quiet and beautiful south-facing slope, in the middle of the Zellertal, between the Kneipp spa Bad Kötzting and the climatic health resort Bodenmais.

Description of the bedrooms in the individual houses:
The Kaitersberg mountain hut (up to 8 pers.) has a bedroom with double bed and a children's room with bunk bed on the ground floor and 4 sleeping possibilities under the roof (open gallery to the living room) with a gable height of 1.50 m.
The Riedlstein log cabin (up to 8 pers.) has 2 bedrooms with double bed on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms with double bed in the attic with a gable height of 1.75m.
The Sonnenschein holiday cabin (up to 2 pers.) has one bedroom with a double bed.

Suitable for travelers with dogs, perhaps, but not particularly for anyone else.
Mr. Geiger is a very nice, friendly, and helpful landlord. The location of the log cabins and holiday apartments is great, right on the edge of the forest, very quiet and idyllic with a great view. We were accommodated in 2 different apartments. What we didn't like is the fact that the apartments seem to be mainly used by guests with dogs, and the smell of wet dog is encountered repeatedly. It is better not to use the vacuum cleaner, rather use a broom (otherwise, the whole house smells like a wet dog). Carpeting in the bedrooms is not conducive and outdated. The furnishings of the apartments are good, but could use some renovation here and there. Positive: Each apartment has a small ball grill and there is a table tennis table. Also, some slightly worn-out toys for the children.

Top experience.
Very nice, quiet and beautifully located holiday flat. The view from the balcony is just lovely and relaxing for us. We really enjoyed our time here and were able to relax very well. Mr Geiger was always happy to help us if necessary
