Our guests describe the log cabins/chalets or mountain/ski huts, which are located on the edge of the forest in the heart of the Bavarian Forest and are therefore the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, as romantic. The exclusive chalet-style holiday homes for 1 - 8 people with their open fireplace provide the desired cottage romance (holiday chalet Sonnenschein without fireplace), and the wonderful secluded location with a view of the Kaitersberg mountain rounds off your holiday in the idyll.
The Bavarian Forest is the only place in Bavaria that offers variety and excitement during your holiday. Whether for the whole family, for children, parents or grandparents - there is certainly something for everyone. Many activities, whether a visit to the Bavarian Forest National Park or to the Großer Arber (skiing and hiking area) guarantee you untouched nature and lots of fresh air, all of which you will find right on the doorstep of our holiday chalets.

The mountain hut Kaitersberg (up to 8 pers.) has a bedroom with double bed and a children's room with bunk bed on the ground floor and 4 sleeping possibilities under the roof (open gallery to the living room) with a gable height of 1.50 m.
The Riedlstein log cabin (up to 8 pers.) has 2 bedrooms with double bed on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms with double bed in the attic with a gable height of 1.75m.
The holiday cottage Sonnenschein (up to 2 pers.) has one bedroom with double bed.

Wooden hut at the foot of the Kaiterberg
We were warmly and personally received at the cabin by Gerd Fischl. Service was a top priority here. We were offered to change pillows or blankets if needed, and when the temperatures dropped, the heating system was immediately activated. Otherwise, we enjoyed our peace and the view of the slope. The cabin is simple but functional. We didn't miss anything. There are several holiday accommodations on the grounds, but you can easily stay out of each other's way. In the surrounding area, you will find many destinations for hiking, sightseeing, or being active. We had a great time at the cabin on Kaitersberg.

Beautiful surroundings
Great flats and holiday homes!
Nice landlord who takes time to explain everything to his guests and is usually on site to solve problems!
There are several flats in different sizes and for different numbers of people! The same is also the case with the holiday homes!
Families are also catered for, with activities for the kids guaranteed at all ages!
The furnishing and equipment of the flats and the houses is optimal and there is everything you need!
