Location and surroundings of object
Your thatched-roofed holiday home is located next to the historic water mill and you will find relaxation and regeneration in a wonderfully quiet environment. It is about 7 km to the centre of Rheine.
The villa is located on the outskirts of Dreierwalde near Rheine, at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest. The indoor climate in the thatched house is pleasantly cool in summer and warm in winter.
The holiday home is the ideal starting point for bicycle tours and hikes to the Teutoburg Forest. The Hermannsweg is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. 15 minutes away by car, in the middle of the forest, there is a modern thermal bath.
The airport was shut down 30 years ago and is now a natural biotope.

An exceptionally beautiful holiday apartment and very nice hosts.
We spent 5 days in the holiday apartment Romantik and were very impressed by the very clean and tastefully detailed decor. Everything has been thought of in the kitchen's equipment. You really don't have to bring anything from home. The garden is also very detailed and beautifully designed, and the very accommodating hosts invited us to linger there. We can only warmly recommend this holiday apartment.

Wonderful vacation in a fairy-tale setting
In the previous reviews, nothing has been overstated. Upon arriving at the apartment, you immediately feel like you're in a fairytale setting. The space is enormous and the decor is tasteful. The reception is warm and you quickly feel at home. The house and the surroundings are well-maintained and clean. The furnishings are equipped with all conveniences. The area is also beautiful. From the house, you can immediately pick up a walking or cycling route. There’s something for everyone. Shops are within walking distance. Definitely worth mentioning: we found no map with rules and things to do when leaving the house. It is approached with trust and common sense, which is wonderful when you are on vacation.
We highly recommend this apartment. We hope to be able to return.

Holidays under the thatched roof
We became curious from the photos of the vacation apartment and the spacious garden. They conveyed a taste of an extraordinary accommodation. When we were warmly welcomed at the front door by Mr. and Mrs. Basedow and shown into the apartment, we could hardly believe that this would be our residence for the week of vacation. Everything was tasteful, harmonious, and one could feel as if in a castle from long ago. However, everything was practically arranged and spotlessly clean everywhere.
The garden had the atmosphere of a park, with cozy seating areas inviting relaxation.
The hosts were open and friendly, and various pleasant conversations took place.
This way, we received one or another tip for our activities in the area.

Great vacation in a wellness oasis
We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. and Mr. Basedow upon arrival. The vacation apartment is simply a dream, lovingly furnished and equipped with great care. Nothing is missing, and no wishes are left unfulfilled. You feel at home from the very first day. The beds invite you to dream. Our little dog Linus also felt comfortable right away; the garden was his highlight. We were also able to unwind in the beautifully arranged garden and listen to the birds chirping. The hosts are super friendly, warm, and always have an open ear. We really enjoyed the intense and informative conversations with the two of them and took home a lot of inspiration that we will also implement. For those who want to relax and unwind, this is a paradise. For us, it was a stroke of luck; we will often return here. Thank you very much, Basedow family, for the wonderful time in your feel-good oasis.

Exceptional
Super friendly reception and very helpful, lovely and attentive host family. The holiday apartment was perfectly clean, high-quality equipped and very cozy. There are many small comfort details to discover everywhere. Everything you need for a vacation is there. We felt comfortable immediately. The location is very quiet, simply perfect. With this nice family, in the beautiful holiday apartment, we are certainly not the last ones to have been there :-). We can only recommend the accommodation.
