Our house is located in the heart of Münsterland, surrounded by greenery and cornfields, yet close to the city.
Start your bike tours right at the house; we are situated directly on Münsterland’s extensive and well-developed network of cycling paths. The predominantly flat park landscape with its architectural and cultural treasures invites you to enjoy both leisurely bike rides and sporty, ambitious cycling. Embedded in a km-long network of bike paths are not only the popular themed routes, but also the numerous small and larger charming bike tours and circular routes through the region. The princely and openly accessible Bagno Park with concert gallery is located in the immediate vicinity. Canoeing on the Ems, the climbing park in Ibbenbüren, or a balloon ride over Münsterland are also among the unforgettable attractions. The town of Burgsteinfurt developed around a moated castle, which is still inhabited today by the princely family of Steinfurt.
The center of the historic town core is the town hall with its finely crafted gables.
Just a few steps further is the "Hohe Schule," which housed Westphalia's first university when it relocated from Schüttorf to Burgsteinfurt in 1591.
Let yourself be transported to the Middle Ages during a city tour with the unique wise woman Anna Krechting. The city has a very beautiful and cozy pub culture in medieval buildings.

We own a beautiful estate with a large house and are happy to share the joy of it with other people. We are centrally located in one of the most beautiful areas of Münsterland with ideal connections to Münster and the neighboring Netherlands.
