Description

A house to feel good in! The highest level of comfort and well-kept furnishings await you on 80 m². Up to 6 people + a small child will find enough space for a relaxing holiday in this half-timbered holiday home. On the ground floor, the spacious kitchen/living room forms the centre of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped so that you will want for nothing. You can make yourself comfortable at the dining table and on the sofa. Satellite TV and board games provide variety. In the large bathroom you can relax in the floor-to-ceiling bathtub or use the separate shower. A staircase leads to the first floor. Here you will find the two cosy bedrooms. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1.80 m wide) + a single bed (0.90 cm wide). The second bedroom has 2 single beds. In addition, you will find a wardrobe and seating areas in both rooms. From the balcony of the bedroom you have a great view towards the lake (lake view only in winter). An extra bed for the 6th person is available in the living room (folding bed). WLAN is available in the entire house. For the little guests, the house offers a cot, high chair, stair guard, socket protector and trolley.

In front of the house there is a sun terrace (south-east facing) with barbecue, fire bowl (wood included), garden furniture and sun loungers. Two parking spaces are directly in front of the house. The large property (shared with the owner) with a meadow and a playground invite you to romp and relax. In the garden there is also a sauna house with a Kneipp bath, a fireplace room and a sauna.

The pedestrian environment

From the holiday home you can reach Lake Dobbertin in just a few steps. This is an excellent place for long walks and cycling tours. In 5 minutes you can reach the Dobbertin monastery, the monastery park and the brewery (restaurant). A bathing area (also for dogs) is within walking distance (1 km). The small, tranquil village also offers its guests a larger outdoor lake swimming pool, guest boat service, tourist information, a very popular pastry shop with ice cream parlour, bicycle rental, shopping facilities and 3 restaurants. All destinations are within walking distance.

Leisure and excursion destinations

The central location between the state capital Schwerin, the Müritz and the Baltic Sea invite you to countless excursions and leisure activities. Particularly recommended are the MV Wildlife Park, the adventure pool & sauna world in Linstow, Kindertobeland & Westernstadt in Linstow or the summer toboggan run & the monkey forest. All of the above-mentioned excursion destinations can be reached by car in less than 30 minutes. The beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea, the state capital Schwerin with its famous castle, the Hanseatic cities Rostock and Wismar as well as the Müritz can be reached by car in about 45 to 60 minutes. We wish you a relaxing and eventful holiday in the "1A Ferienhaus am See".

Beautiful place to relax

We had a very nice time there. The accommodation was very good, everything you need was there. Quiet area with beautiful surroundings. The small upper balcony had a very nice view. We walked a lot, park, lake, monastery. Also by car, the shopping options and restaurants were easily accessible. We also thank the host for the good care.

Vacation in Winter

Suitable for cold winter days.
The house was very clean.
The surroundings are good for excursions.
There are some small shops in the village itself (CAP market, 2 farm shops).

The electrical appliances need updating, especially the washing machine.
The stairs are very steep and therefore not recommended for people with limited mobility.
Due to the direct street location, through traffic could be heard.
From spring to autumn, it would not be suitable for those seeking peace.

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Die Waschmaschine ist bei Ihrem Aufenthalt leider kaputt gegangen und wird aktuell repariert bzw. ausgetauscht. Das Haus befindet sich in einer Sackgasse, die sehr wenig befahren ist. Es sind nur 10 weitere Grundstücke über diese Straße zu erreichen. Vorbei fahrende Autos sind daher nur Anwohner dieser Grundstücke. Ich hoffe, dass Sie den Aufenthalt genossen haben und sich gut erholen konnten.

Vacation rating

We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The price/performance ratio is justified. The location of the holiday home is close to the lake and also relatively central in Dobbertin. Shopping options are available, dining options are available, and those who support inclusion are exactly right here. Those who appreciate sauna use will enjoy a very lovingly furnished sauna. Overall, a successful vacation.

Vacation with Dog

It was a quiet and nice holiday accommodation. We would have wished for a bit more contact with the landlord. The available brochures were partly outdated. It was designated as a fenced property, but the gate was always open all day.

a place to grow fond of

Dobbertin is somewhat remote, has a beautiful monastery with a park, and is very quiet and pleasant. Anglers will surely get their money's worth, but we missed some swimming docks and swimming spots nearby. No water sports available.
The house is well-equipped, dog-friendly, and comfortable. An ideal starting point to explore the lake district by bike. Definitely bring bikes, no rentals available on site.

Extended weekend

The apartment was unfortunately icy cold upon arrival, and it took quite a while for the rooms to warm up.
The kitchen equipment is sufficient for 4 people, but there are few glasses!
The dining room chairs are very hard and uncomfortable.
Beautiful large bathroom with a floor-level bathtub!
Upstairs, you have to watch your head; otherwise, accidents due to the sloped roof are inevitable.
Overall, a nice little house for three nights!

vielen Dank für das Feedback. Es freut uns, dass Ihnen das Haus, bis auf einige Kleinigkeiten, gefallen hat. Aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten war das Haus in der Woche davor nicht belegt. Es wurde leider vergessen, die Heizung wieder anzustellen. Das war eine Ausnahme. Das Haus ist sonst immer vorgeheizt. Dafür bitten wir um Entschuldigung. Gläser werden wir zusätzliche bereitstellen. Danke für den Hinweis.

Evaluation

The kitchen equipment leaves much to be desired, as there is a lack of everything needed for a cookable meal. The available utensils are partially defective (see pans). Furthermore, there are cobwebs throughout the entire apartment, and there isn't even a broom available for cleaning.
What we particularly liked were the swallows on the roof and a small bat in the bedroom (this is no joke, I caught it and released it back into freedom).

Vielen Dank für das Feedback, welches wir sehr ernst nehmen. Da wir selbst dort nicht wohnen sind wir auf Feedback angewiesen und nehmen das auch gern direkt vor Ort entgegen. Die Chance dazu gab es ja mehrfach, z.B. als ich den Honig gebracht habe, den ich extra für Sie abgefüllt habe oder als ich die Tomaten vorbei gebracht habe oder als wir am Carport standen und Sie mir von Ihren Tag erzählt haben.

Hilfreich wäre ein konkretes Feedback, damit wir wissen woran es fehlt. In der Küche sind mehrere Schneidemesser, Scheidebretter, Töpfe, 4 intakte Pfannen, Schüsseln, eine Raspel, Kartoffelstampfer, Pfannenwender, Küchenwaage usw. Wenn etwas vermisst wird bitte direkt Bescheid sagen und wir besorgen es.

Bezüglich der Spinnen, haben wir das gesamte Haus nochmal zusätzlich in jeder Ecke durgesaugt, dennoch lässt es sich auf dem Land im Spätsommer nicht immer verhindern, das abends Spinnweben sind, wo man morgens noch gesaugt hat - vielleicht ja auch ein gutes Zeichen.

Bezüglich der Schwalben sind wir sehr froh, dass es wieder welche gibt, zwischenzeitlich schienen die ausgestorben. Wer keine Natur mag, dem empfehlen wir bitte woanders zu buchen.

Very beautiful house

If you want to take a vacation far away from crowds, this is the right place. The area is very quiet and perfect for cycling or hiking. Larger cities are also not far away. The house has everything you need. A nice big bathtub, a fireplace, and a sauna. Everything is very well maintained and there is enough space. There is a swimming area for dogs about 5 minutes away on foot in the park. There is also a swimming area for people. It was definitely a nice vacation.

The property should have been completely fenced, but it was not!
Supposedly with its own access to the lake, which was also not the case.
Otherwise, it was fine!

Lieber Gast, vielen Dank für das Feedback. Grundsätzlich ist das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt. Da der Nachbar jedoch seinen Hof neu gepflastert hat, musste ein Teil des Zauns zeitweise abgenommen werden. Die Lücke wird wieder geschlossen. Für die Zeit Ihres Aufenthaltes wurde ja ein provisorischer Schutz gebaut. Das Haus hat keinen direkten Zugang zum See. Das steht auch nicht in der Beschreibung. Ich hoffe, dass Sie dennoch eine schöne Zeit am Dobbertiner See hatten und sich gut erholen konnten.

Restful vacation

Thank you for the hospitality and thank you for allowing us to use the boat for free. The host was also so kind to help us with the booking of a fishing license, or rather he did it for us. That is not self-evident. We could have also used the sauna in the garden house. I took a look at it. It is inviting on its own. A great atmosphere in general... Nothing is missing in this holiday home

We were able to enjoy 2 weeks in this great holiday home !!!! We generally love a quiet location in the middle of nature. The holiday home is beautifully furnished. There is simply nothing missing! The landlord family is super nice and very caring. Our dog was allowed to run free on the large and very well-kept property. There were two of us, but it was also more than adequate for 4 or 5 people. Thank you to the Kiewel family for the 2 weeks in Dobbertin
