Our typical Frisian house is located in the municipality of Krummhörn, approx. 14 km from Greetsiel and approx. 2.5 km from the dyke and the North Sea. The location on a beautiful property with a fantastic view and magnificent tranquillity guarantee you a relaxing holiday directly on the unique North Sea coast! Loquard is a small village in the municipality of Krummhörn in the district of Aurich in East Frisia. Approximately 614 inhabitants live in this village. The quiet and idyllic location of the village invites you to linger. Probably nowhere is East Frisia more rustic and typical than here: Gulf farms, windmills, chieftain's castles, the highest and one of the smallest and most famous lighthouses in Germany - the Pilsum lighthouse - and the vastness characterise the landscape.
Here you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. For active holidaymakers there is a varied offer. Whether on horseback, by bike, in a boat or canoe, on signposted Nordic walking routes - the Krummhörn can be explored in many ways. Shopping and leisure facilities can be found in the seaport town of Emden, which is about 15 minutes away by car, or in Pewsum, the largest town in the Krummhörn municipality. Probably the best-known place in Krummhörn is the fishing village of Greetsiel. Anyone who comes to Greetsiel is captured by the enchanting sight of a doll's house village with historic gabled houses from the 17th century, the over 600-year-old fishing harbour with its impressive crab cutter fleet, the famous Greetsiel twin mills and picturesque alleys.
The historic fishing village of Greetsiel, Norddeich as well as the East Frisian islands of Borkum, Norderney, Juist, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog etc. are virtually on the doorstep and invite you to exciting excursions.

Beautiful holiday home with a completely naturist flair in a quiet location!
Great and well-kept garden with a fire pit and a view of the fields; the pedal boat offers the great opportunity to explore the surrounding landscape a bit and enjoy nature!
The house itself is an absolute dream, plenty of space, very clean, and really nicely done! Leisure activities and shopping are relatively easy and quick to reach from there.
There were four of us (2 adults + 2 children) and we were pleasantly and friendly received by the house manager upon arrival. Likewise, everything was great when leaving the holiday home on the departure day.
Conclusion: An absolutely fantastic holiday home to find peace and relaxation. We felt very comfortable and are all thrilled!

Super Ferienhaus
We stayed in this great holiday home with a feel-good atmosphere from 24.10.-29.10.2019. Super equipped with high-quality furnishings. Beautiful quiet location for relaxation and rest, just right. Great starting point for nice bike tours as well. You can ride directly along the sea to Greetsiel, or in the other direction to Emden. We will definitely come back.

North Sea holiday
We were here for the first time and are completely thrilled. The house is more than complete and very lovingly furnished. Nothing was missing and the care by the manager was great. We went on long tours with our bikes every day and got to know the North Sea with its dykes and the islands of Norderney and Borkum. All in all, simply beautiful. We will be back!

1 beautiful week in East Frisia
We spent 1 week in May with 5 adults in this very beautiful holiday home.
We especially liked the complete equipment with all details.
Also the very affectionate and tasteful decoration was striking. The living rooms are very spacious. The third bedroom is preferably suitable for children as it has separate beds. The small bathroom upstairs is perfect. Price-performance ratio very good. Good possibilities for excursions.
