Description

You can look forward to our cozy holiday home near the beach in beautiful Bredene, with a fully fenced, south-facing garden and private parking – ideal for families with children and/or a dog.
A baby travel cot and high chair are included in the house’s amenities.

On the ground floor you will find the hallway, kitchen, dining and living area (satellite flat-screen TV, internet-enabled), 1 bedroom with double bed 1.60 m x 2.00 m, bathroom with toilet and shower (and hairdryer), as well as another separate toilet. On the upper floor there are 2 additional enclosed bedrooms, each with a double bed 1.60 m x 2.00 m.
In both bedrooms we have installed a flat-screen TV (satellite TV).
All bedrooms have blackout blinds on the windows.

In the annex, our guests have access to a washing machine and dryer, as well as beach tents (pop-up with sun protection factor) and beach chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator (with freezer compartment), microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and coffee pod machine, toaster, electric kettle, raclette grill, blender, waffle iron, and other extensive kitchen accessories.

A foldable handcart is available for shopping or trips to the beach.

Use of the fast in-house Wi-Fi is free of charge for our guests.

Restaurants, bistros, and cafés are within walking distance. The nearest bakery for breakfast rolls is about 400 m away. Supermarkets such as Colruyt, Aldi, Lidl, Albert Heijn or Delhaize are located at a distance of 2-3 km inland or along Kapelstraat.

As we are a non-smoking household and out of consideration for subsequent guests, we ask for your understanding that smoking is not permitted in the house! We have duly registered our holiday home with the official Belgian "Toerisme Vlaanderen" under number 230183.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is located in the well-maintained, quiet holiday complex "Zeebos" at a distance of only about 600 m to the beach and the dunes.

The coastal town of Bredene is distinguished by its unique dune landscape along the beautiful sandy beach, which is unique to the Belgian coast.
Ostend and De Haan, the neighboring coastal towns and cities, invite you to stay on the beach promenade or in the shopping streets. Bruges, the capital of West Flanders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is another highlight nearby.

The entire coast from De Panne to Knokke can be explored affordably using the coastal tram.

For nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, the nearby 9-hectare recreational area "Grasduinen" offers a change of pace from the beach. Freely accessible and usable, the area offers a mountain bike course, cycling and hiking trails, sports fields (beach volleyball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, basketball, and soccer), fit-o-meter, a large lake, playground equipment for children, and a building with sanitary facilities. There is a great skate park on Merelstraat for skaters. For those interested in culture or even shopping day trips, the Flemish cities of Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, Ostend - or even the capital city Brussels - are always worth a visit.

Perfect holiday with a dog

We spent an all-around perfect week at holiday home 149.
Even upon arrival, we were thrilled by the decor, the warm colors, and the maritime theme.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one could wish for.
The living/dining area is cozy, and the garden offers plenty of space for sunbathing, relaxing, and playing with our Labrador.
The beds are comfortable, and we slept very well on the mattresses. During our stay, the weather god was also kind to us. We had radiant sunshine.

We will definitely come back!!!

Great vacation in October 2024

We have stayed in many vacation apartments and houses, but we have never had such a wealth of amenities. From super glue to dog poop bags, everything was there. You can only feel good in this house. The beach is great, and the weather was also very nice for mid-October. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful house, great for families.

We were able to spend our summer vacation here this year, and it was wonderful.
Mrs. Thissen is an incredibly nice landlord, the contact was very friendly, and the entire process was smooth.
The cleanliness and equipment of the house is excellent.
It is well-furnished and items like the cart, oven, washing machine, as well as the offered laundry package make family vacations significantly easier!

Super Vacation House

We stayed in this beautiful holiday home in September 2022 and May 2024 with 4 adults, a child, and our dog. I am totally thrilled with the booking and the support from Ms. Thissen, thank you Ms. Thissen for your lovely communication. So far, this lovingly furnished and clean house is the best we have ever had in Bredene. We arrive and are on vacation from the very first minute. Everything you need is available. Dream holiday apartment

A big thank you for the truly wonderful accommodation :))
The three of us had a relaxing week with a super beautiful beach and great excursions. Not far from the accommodation, you can take the coastal tram and explore the surroundings easily.
There was nothing missing in the house and I mean nothing!! We have stayed in many accommodations, but this house exceeded everything. The very tasteful decor made it very cozy!
When we had problems with the toilet flushing one day, we were helped on site within minutes through the landlord's mediation. Great service !!!

Christmas holiday 2023

Hello there :-)
We spent our Christmas vacation for the first time in this wonderful cottage. It was simply fantastic and we had a hard time leaving :-). It is beautifully decorated and there is nothing missing. The fireplace provides cozy warmth in cold or wet weather. Everything is perfect :-). It was also the perfect vacation for our dog because especially on New Year's Eve it was very quiet, so Ruby was relaxed here too. Another great advantage is that there are two parking spaces available, so we had no problems parking our trailer.
I would like to highlight the super nice contact with the landlady. She immediately helped with a small problem. It makes you feel well taken care of :-).

The way to the beach is also very easy to reach on foot, here puppies can run and play. Especially with a dog, this beach is simply great at this time of year.

We will definitely come back and recommend the house :-).

Two beautiful weeks

A house to feel good in.
Quiet location and a small well-kept garden.
Everything is available, from toys for digging in the sand to a beach tent.
Garden table, chairs, sun umbrellas and loungers are also available.
Everything is in top condition.
Nice landlady and always accessible.
(we couldn't find the switch for the exhaust hood)
My wife and our dog really liked it and we can recommend this holiday home 100%!

Family vacation family Haas & Haser

Everything is fine !!!

We felt very comfortable here. The house is equipped with everything you need. The location is quiet (in October). In a few minutes you can reach the super sandy beach. At this time of year, we were allowed to take the dog with us! All in all, a great house and nice contact with the landlord.

Very nice autumn holidays 2022

Hello Mrs Thissen,

the previous evaluation was not from us.

Thank you very much for the informative telephone conversation today.

You get full marks from us, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Your availability as a landlord and your efforts to make the guests as comfortable as possible is indescribable, you identify with your tenants.

One notices your love for renting and for your property.

What you offer with your holiday home is already great cinema.
The accommodation is very spacious, well divided and also super equipped, nothing is missing.

We had very nice weather from 01.10.2022 to 15.10.2022 and could use the time for excursions or relaxing walks with our children and dogs on the great beaches of the Belgian coast from your holiday home very well.

Thank you for your tips on shopping (supermarkets, farm shops, butchers, bakers, etc.).

We fully enjoyed the 2 great weeks and returned very refreshed from our holiday.

We will definitely book again.

Family Theis August/September'22 from Saarland

We have been to Bredene and de Haan for many years and this house was the best so far. There was really nothing missing, from kitchen roll to spices to cloths, tea lights, napkin rings, trolley, charcoal etc. The beds and mattresses are of high quality (like everything else in the house) and comfortable.
The beds and mattresses are of high quality (like everything else in the house) and comfortable. There is plenty of storage space and even the skylights on the upper floor are fitted with blinds and fly screens. The garden was overgrown all around and hardly visible and wonderfully quiet.
It is about 10-15 minutes to the beach at a leisurely pace and the bakery is also within walking distance. The nearest shopping facilities are in Bredene itself, about 2.5 km. The contact to the landlady was very nice and the handling worked perfectly. We are totally thrilled and will be back next year. In short...the house was furnished with a lot of love, heart and mind and that's how the holiday feels in it. Many thanks Mrs Thissen

Well-being Oasis

The communication with the very nice and helpful landlord went well and quickly in advance. Upon our arrival, we were very impressed by the house and the furnishings, everything was as in the photos (if not better/more beautiful). The rooms are lovingly furnished. The equipment is "commendable". The location is quiet, but easy to reach, and the beach is quickly accessible (about 10 minutes on foot). Highly recommended without any reservations. We will come back.

Holidays in a cosy holiday home!!!

We spent a very nice sunny week in Bredene. Since the weather was so great, we could even use the cosy garden in October, eat outside and chill :)
Everything was available in the house and the cosy kitchen invites you to sit and play for a long time.
The bicycles were handy to cycle to the beach, the bakery or to Bredene.
The friendly contact with the landlady was very uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

Everything is great!

Facility top, lots of devices like hairdryer, coffee machine, etc. (see description) already in the house. Super WiFi, super TV.

10 minutes walk to the beach.

Super nice contact.

Would love to come back!!!

a week in the fisherman's cottage

We spent a very nice week here in Bredene with our little furry friend. Everything is available in the cottage. We didn't miss anything. The weather was great and we recovered wonderfully.

Wonderful, everything is here!

We had a great time in a well-equipped, comfortably furnished holiday home. The location (holiday home park near the beach) was superb, and the landlords were very friendly and always approachable. We would book the holiday home again.

House with feel-good effect

We immediately felt at home after our arrival. A lovingly furnished and decorated house that quickly creates the conditions for a great vacation.

We, a small family with two now grown-up daughters, have always enjoyed spending our holidays on the Belgian coast. Over the years, Bredene has become our favourite place on the North Sea. However, the very well-equipped holiday homes were often booked up quickly. For the past 4 years, two furry noses from the animal rescue have also been part of our family, so that the choice of accommodation that met our requirements in terms of location and facilities was further reduced So now we have fulfilled our dream of having our own little domicile very close to the beach and dunes We hope that you will also experience wonderful and relaxing holidays there!
