Highly recommended

We had 2 fantastic weeks in this beautiful, charming holiday home with a private garden and pool. It is a picture and even more beautiful in reality than in the photos. The location is ideal for exploring the Algarve from east to west and is close to good roads. It is an oasis of tranquility to relax after a busy day; just cool off in the large, clean pool, rest in the hammock on the large terrace. Enjoying the sound of rustling palm leaves and watching the birds bathe in one of the drinking bowls. The garden is beautiful with all the flowers and trees and there is always a place to sit in the shade or in the sun.
In the house, everything you need is abundantly present.
Maybe one more wish; a freezer compartment would be nice.
We had very pleasant contact with the owners and there are several information folders in the house with practical information and great tips for nice outings, beaches, and restaurants.
In short, if you are looking for a wonderful, quiet, romantic place and you have a rental car, this house is highly recommended.

Beautiful, relaxing break from traveling.

We rented the holiday home Casa das Palmeiras for 15 days over Christmas and New Year. It was a relaxing and peaceful time in this authentic house. The weather also played along for the most part, so we often sat on the sunny rooftop terrace in the afternoons. From there, one can see the mostly spectacular sunsets. We spent the evenings by the cozy fireplace and explored the beautiful surroundings on foot or with the rental car during the day. The house was lovingly furnished and everything needed was available. We have grown fond of Nino, the landlord's dog. We already miss Nino very much. However, for us, it now continues with our camper van, as there are still almost 4 months of adventure ahead of us.

Oase

We couldn't have imagined a better place to relax than Casa das Palmeiras. We immediately felt comfortable in the stylishly furnished Casa, where every detail has been thought of. The owners prepared folders with lots of tips and information in different languages. We were allowed to use the main terrace and pool with the owners. This, together with our own small terrace, rooftop terrace, and garden with hammock, felt like paradise. You need a car to quickly reach the coast or the nearest supermarket. We highly recommend this accommodation and thank the landlords; also for the very friendly and uncomplicated contact!

A dream house

Thank you so much for this wonderful week's holiday in your gorgeous property.
So loving down to the smallest detail, super descriptions for everything. We have never had that before. It is remote, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. The pool, the outdoor area, everything is an oasis. We felt very comfortable, even with our dog. Thank you for this time ❤️

Little Paradise

In search of an authentic place in the Algarve, we found what we were looking for at Casa das Palmeiras. We were immediately captivated by the location and design of this property. The garden, the summer kitchen and the refreshing pool captivated us from the first moment. There is hardly a more beautiful place for deceleration. The coast and hinterland are easily accessible. But you don't really want to leave this gem and very quickly you lose track of time. There could hardly be a clearer sign of relaxation. The uncomplicated and friendly contact with the landlady also deserves a special mention. Casa das Palmeiras is a place we miss very much.

Holidays in the Garden of Eden

What a wonderful property! The tasteful, typical country furnishings have already been praised several times. We especially liked the beautiful design of the outdoor facilities. We had the property to ourselves and preferred to spend time outside. There are countless places to sit and lie down and there was always a shady spot to be found. From the roof terrace you have a wonderful view of the landscape. We preferred to use it in the evening, as there were fewer mosquitoes up there, although we were not overly infested with mosquitoes overall. Nevertheless, we slept under the mosquito net. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and spent many hours relaxing on the loungers or hanging out in a hammock. There are birds, butterflies, black wood bees and lizards to watch. Oleanders, bouganvilleas, hibiscus and geraniums have blossomed beautifully and we were able and allowed to harvest lemons. The first few nights we were disturbed by the barking of dogs from the surrounding properties, but later we either got used to it or the dogs were quieter. Otherwise it is fantastically quiet. The rating of the location depends on what you expected. A car is an absolute must. If you want to really relax, like nature, like to swim in the pool and want a starting point for visiting many places in the Algarve, this is exactly the right accommodation! The contact was good and friendly!

you are "in good hands" at this place and exactly right if: You need peace and quiet, like a well-kept and lovingly landscaped Mediterranean garden, would like to use a pool alone or as a couple and enjoy one, two, three "little wines" at the "tiled bench corner" in the warm summer nights! If you are looking for a holiday in Portugal in a stylish, typically Portuguese furnished holiday flat with a spacious bathroom and perfect equipment for the use of the kitchen, the sun loungers and many suggestions for individual activities, then don't hesitate, because as you can see, Das Palmeiras is well booked! But of course you can also move into one of the unnamed accommodations where the flats have the same layout and are furnished interchangeably, and secure a sun lounger with your towel....Dear hosts, thank you very much for the time in your wonderful accommodation, Dorothée & Karin!

Wonderfully relaxing vacation

We spent a wonderful week in this exceptionally beautiful apartment and beautiful surroundings. In the hammock under palm trees, the seating area with bougainvilleas and the magnificent pool, in a very hospitable atmosphere.

Unconditional recommendation!

We were greeted by a lovingly furnished and well-equipped guesthouse with a beautiful garden and large pool in a very quiet location. From there, you can easily reach the dreamy beaches of the Algarve as well as surrounding cities such as Faro, Loule, and Sao Bras de Aportel by car. The friendly and accommodating landlords are available for further excursion tips.

We will definitely come back sooner or later! :)

A place to let your soul unwind

If you want to simply relax on vacation, Casa das Palmeiras is the perfect place for you. Located on the outskirts in a rural setting, this holiday home is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for your stay. It takes about twenty minutes to drive to the beach in Faro, and there are various shopping options and markets in Loulé and São Brás, as well as in Faro itself. If you're not in the mood for the beach, you can find many hiking trails in the hinterland of the Algarve to explore the surroundings. Helpful and open-minded landlords - what more could you want? We give five stars and a heartfelt thanks for the wonderful time we had!

Wunderschönes Anwesen

We spent three weeks in the perfectly equipped house and beautifully designed garden. Starting with the detailed directions including tips for the first shopping trip, the landlady provided numerous information, user manuals, labels, etc., ensuring that the arrival and living in the house were completely stress-free. Particularly noteworthy is the very tasteful yet practical furnishings of the house. The location is perfect, with quick access to the coast and the hinterland via well-developed roads, which offer numerous marked hiking trails. We will gladly come back!

Algarve fully private

We chose Casa das Palmeiras for our stay in the Algarve for the second time, and again it was beautiful! The large, lovingly designed garden, the fantastic pool, and the many seating areas invite you to relax and dream. A visit to the market hall in Loule was as much a part of it as visiting the small cafes in Sao Bras del Alportel, where we enjoyed the evening sun with a glass of wine and beer, if we were not sitting on the rooftop terrace of Casa das Palmeiras, letting our gaze wander over the landscape at sunset...
The Casa is and remains a dream; we will definitely come back again!

Wunderschön

My friend and I spent a wonderful week at the truly beautiful Casa das Palmeiras. The house is located in the countryside with palm trees in the garden, a pool, and a sun terrace, making it perfect for people who just want to relax on vacation. However, surrounding villages are also easily accessible by car! The house is very well equipped with information folders for guests and if you happen to come during a slightly colder season, there are electric blankets and a fireplace. The garden is a palm paradise and the landlords are very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend a holiday there. We returned home relaxed and well rested. :)

Kleines Paradies

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the lovingly prepared Casa das Palmeiras. The house is equipped with everything your heart desires. From books, games to really detailed descriptions of possible excursions and interesting facts about the region, everything was perfectly organized. Even though the house is not located on the beach, it impresses with its location in the middle of nature. You can start hiking on marked trails right outside the front door. The house, surrounded by olive groves and lots of greenery, was just right for our son, who could move around freely without us having to worry. That's why we recommend the house especially to small families.
Sights and beaches are easily accessible from the house.
Due to the low temperatures, we couldn't use the pool. However, we enjoyed the fireplace - especially in the evenings. We will definitely come back.

Better late than never :)

We were in the holiday house in the fall of 2018 as a couple and were simply thrilled.
For the first few days, we didn't have a car, so it was a little bit difficult to get there, but taking taxis was not a problem.
Thus, we were basically forced to just do nothing and let the nature and the landscape there have an effect on us. Even though it was already quite cold, you could still sit on the sunny terrace in a t-shirt and shorts, and heating the apartment in the evening with the fireplace was also not a problem. Furthermore, you can explore the surroundings perfectly from there.

Also, when we had a few questions, Mr. and Mrs. Mychalzik were available to help us. We were thrilled with how much love and care this holiday cottage was built with, and we will surely come back in a few years, as we still remember those days there with great joy.

Simply to feel good

After a round trip in Portugal, we were able to relax wonderfully in the guest house of Casa das Palmeiras. We particularly liked the fact that the entire complex is maintained in a rural Portuguese style and is very tastefully furnished. The house is in a very quiet location in the hinterland, but the beach is only 20 minutes away. However, we much preferred to be at the house's own pool, which we had all to ourselves. We also made extensive use of the various terraces and hammocks to laze around. There are beautiful excursion and hiking possibilities in the surrounding area. Loulé and Sao Brás are close by, where you can also go shopping and eat out. A lot of suggestions and information can be found on the small notice board in the guest house.
We would love to come back!

Extremely friendly German landlords. Excellently equipped quite large holiday home with garden (palms, oleander, etc.). Loule, Sao Bras de Aportel and other places quickly reachable.
Wi-Fi works perfectly. Folder for orientation around the house leaves nothing to be desired.

Dreamy accommodation

The accommodation is lovingly and tastefully decorated. Everything is very well-maintained and nothing is missing. You feel totally comfortable in the midst of nature and wonderful tranquility. Whether by the pool, on the rooftop terrace, or in the garden: there is always a particularly nice spot to relax. And if it's cooler, you can make yourself comfortable inside the house. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay at Casa Das Palmeiras.
