Something about the history of the house and the furnishings.
The city villa was built in 1913 and acquired by 2 sisters from Berlin, who handed it over to the church at an advanced age. Afterwards, the house was enlarged and operated as a nurses' home for many years. The nurses had their training centre here. Even today, at the request of our guests, many guest rooms have their own washbasin. After that, it was inhabited by a family of teachers, who already accommodated large music groups and families. We continue this tradition and in recent years have been pleased to welcome prominent musicians who now come to stay with us every year. In the meantime, many families have found their way to us and many interested groups. So all guest groups and large families are welcome!
The flat contains 1 triple room, 1 large room with a double bed and a cot, 1 large room with a double bed and an adjoining single room, 1 room with two single beds and 1 room with a double bed and an adjoining single room.
In addition, there is a large living room with a large sofa set (which can be extended for two people if necessary) and a table with a corresponding number of chairs. A beamer with a large screen is available. The large kitchen with a long table also invites you to linger
We have built in a small disco corner at the end of the kitchen. Well suited for parties and for the children as a mini disco. There are doors from both the living room and the kitchen to access the garden via a terrace. In addition to the 5 washbasins in the rooms, there are two bathrooms now both equipped with shower. (One of the bathrooms has been newly renovated)
Our garden has an old tree population and large lawns for playing, there you will also find a large trampoline and a football goal. In the cellar there is a table tennis table and a table football. 2 carports and parking spaces are also available on the property.

Villa "Haus Hoheneck" is located in the quiet villa district of Bad Sachsa. The centre is only 500m away.
The Vitalpark can actually be reached in such a short time via the so-called 5-minute walk. There you will find, among other things, an ice cream parlour and the tourist information office, as well as a pub pool, several sunbeds, a fitness area and a children's playground that was newly built in 2022, and there is also a mini-golf course. The vitality park has a large melting pond where you can go pedal boating and a zip line with a length of 130m. Also within easy reach are the great "Erlebnisbad" swimming pool with sauna area for pure relaxation and the ice skating rink in Bad Sachsa. (ice skating in winter as well as in summer) Regenbogenland, an indoor play paradise for young and old, and a sports centre with bowling alley.
Bad Sachsa is a hiker's paradise. The local hiking club, a branch of the Harzer Wanderklub, is only about 400m away. What is definitely worth seeing?
The Bad Sachsa vitality park with a melting pond, the town park by the town hall, St. Nikolai church with an altar from the 16th century, the 659m high Ravensberg with a view, the Sachsenstein castle ruins, the Kuckanstal with its miraculous spring, the Märchengrund - one of Germany's oldest fairytale parks, the Harz Falcon Farm, the Natural History Museum with a dinosaur exhibition, the permanent exhibition: Our True Identity Should Be Destroyed!, the Borderland Museum, the Walpurga Witch's Bench, the Winter Sports and Local History Museum, the Glass Museum in Steina. Also highly recommended is the monastery town of Walkenried with its monastery, the Cistercian Museum Walkenried Monastery and the exhibition in the manor house next to the monastery and the
UNESCO World Heritage Information Centre. There is also a unicorn cave not far away. Brochures for other excursion destinations are available in the villa.

Bachelor party
We were a group of 10 men around 30 years old who were looking for a house to celebrate and found one here. The contact was very friendly from the beginning, and there were very quick responses to inquiries I had. Since we always had to coordinate with the group, there were many messages, which were always answered promptly. Upon arrival, we learned that we were the first bachelor party for the Schütte family; hopefully, we paved the way for future ones. The ground floor that we rented was very well suited to our needs. There is a path from the front door, through the kitchen to the living room, with the bathroom, showers, and bedrooms along the way, allowing for a retreat for everyone without being disturbed. We used the garden for grilling and a bit for playing. There is more than enough space, and the grill and garden furniture were good and sufficiently available. In terms of equipment, we lacked nothing, and with a kitchen that has everything in double (refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, etc.), there was no congestion there.
We headed towards the spa park on Saturday, which I can only recommend. Beautiful facilities, a small reservoir, and a mini-golf course brought us closer to Bad Sachsa. All in all, I can recommend both Bad Sachsa and the Haus Hoheneck, and they will certainly be considered as options for our future events.

A dream villa in winter magic
Here, everything has been thought of! From cinema feeling, to table tennis table, great disco atmosphere, large pots for many people, to hand soap and hand towels!
Our family reunion was great. The snow really made the stay a winter fairy tale. We hope it works out to come back again. Additionally, the first recommendation to friends has already been given. ?

Beautiful and really big.
We felt very comfortable in our villa, had plenty of space, and the mini disco was a real highlight for the children. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary and was our home base for exploring the Harz Mountains. Just great!

Family weekend
Dear Mr. Schütte,
we had a very nice family weekend in your villa. Thank you for allowing us to postpone this meeting
for a year without any problems. We enjoyed ourselves and were especially pleased with the kitchen.
A big table where we could all eat together, you don't find that often! The living room was also large and spacious. Our young men could watch football very comfortably, as it was the European Championship. The washing facilities in the bedrooms are a very good way to avoid crowding in front of the bathrooms. The garden was ideal for our grandchildren to play in. We all had enough space. Next year's reunion will be joined by another young family. We have heard that you are in the process of preparing more rooms. We will therefore keep your address

Old villa with plenty of space
Hello Schütte family,
we stayed in your old villa with 6 adults and 3 children 2/2/5 and felt very comfortable. We really liked that there was a washbasin in every bedroom, so there were no bathroom bottlenecks. The huge amount of space in the house and garden also provided relaxation even in rainy weather. We also had a lot of fun playing table tennis in the basement.
We would like to give you a few suggestions:
For the warm season, a beverage cooler would be desirable, and we missed a swing/climbing frame and sandbox for the little ones.
But all in all, a great accommodation for large groups/family gatherings.

An Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt und mit einer Küche die alles in doppelter Ausführung hat ( Kühlschrank, Waschbecken, Spülmachine, etc) kam dort auch kein Stau auf.
Wir sind Samstags richtung Kurpark aufgeschlagen, das kann ich nur empfehlen. Wunderschöne Anlagen, ein kleiner Stausee und eine Minigolfanlage haben uns Bad Sachsa nähergebracht.
Alles in allem kann ich sowohl Bad Sachsa, als auch das Haus Hoheneck nur empfehlen und wird sicherlich von uns für zukünftige Veranstaltungen immer wieder als Option in Betracht gezogen.
Unser Familientreffen war toll. Der Schnee hat den Aufenthalt wirklich zum Wintermärchen gemacht. Wir hoffen, dass es klappt, noch einmal wiederzukommen. Außerdem ist die erste Empfehlung an Freunde schon gegeben. ?

wir hatten ein sehr schönes Familienwochenende in Ihrer Villa. Danke, daß wir dieses Treffen problemlos
um ein Jahr verschieben konnten. Wir haben uns wohlgefüllt und uns besonders über die Küche gefreut.
Ein großer Tisch an dem wir alle gemeinsam essen konnten, findet man nicht so oft! Auch das Wohnzimmer groß und geräumig. Unsere jungen Männer konnten sehr bequem Fußball schauen, es war ja Europameisterschaft. Die Waschmöglichkeiten in den Schlafzimmern sind eine sehr gute Möglichkeit ein Gedränge vor den Bädern zu verhindern. Der Garten war für unsere Enkelkinder ideal zum Spielen. Wir hatten alle genügend Platz. Im kommenden Jahr kommt zum Treffen noch eine junge Familie dazu. Wie wir hörten, sind Sie dabei weitere Zimmer herzurichten. Ihre Adresse werden wir deshalb aufheben.

wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern 2/2/5 in Ihrer alten Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat sehr gut gefallen, dass in jedem Schlafzimmer ein Waschbecken war, so gab es keine Engpässe im Bad.
Auch das riesige Platzangebot im Haus und im Garten, sorgten auch bei Regenwetter für Entspannung. Viel Spaß hatten wir auch beim Tischtennisspielen im Keller.
Wir möchten Ihnen gerne noch ein paar Anregungen geben:
Für die warme Jahreszeit wäre ein Getränkekühlschrank wünschenswert, auch haben wir für die Kleinen eine Schaukel/Klettergerüst und Sandkasten vermisst.
Aber alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft für große Gruppen/Familientreffen.

Wir, 8 junge Erwachsene Freunde waren vom Komplettpaket mehr als Begeistert. Angefangen bei der bestens ausgestatteten Küche, bis hin zum Wohnzimmer mit Beamer und zahlreichen Gesellschaftsspielen. Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch zentral. Sowohl Bad Sachsa, als auch die umliegenden kleineren Städte bieten genügend Abwechslung, auch wenn es mal regnet. Gegen Ende des Urlaubs hätten es dann doch ruhig 2 Tage länger sein können, um auch den Garten und die Terrasse voll genießen zu können. Das machen wir dann beim nächsten Aufenthalt, denn wir kommen wieder :)
Ruhige Lage, jeder sein eigenes Zimmer und die Motorräder standen überdacht. Frühstück in der großen schön hellen, bestens ausgestatteten Küche, dann tagsüber auf Tour im Harz, abends grillen im Garten und dann Kartenspiel in der Stube. Überall genug Tische und Stühle und Platz.
Wir bewohnten das Haus alleine.
Check-in und Check-out waren problemlos.
uns hat der Urlaub in ihrem Haus sehr gut gefallen. Ja, einige Dinge sind noch renovierungsbedürftig (was ja wohl für den Sanitärtrakt schon bald erfolgt). Aber man merkt Ihre Bemühungen, eine schöne Urlaubsunterkunft zu schaffen. Wir (6 Erwachsene und eine Zweijährige) haben uns sehr viel in der gemütlichen Küche aufgehalten und den vielen Platz genossen. Auch gefällt es uns, dass der Charme des alten Hauses auch bei moderner Einrichtung erhalten bleibt.
Wir wünschen Ihnen für die Zukunft noch viele zufriedene Gäste.
Andünsten totale Ruhe, riesen Küche mit allem was man braucht und noch mehr und riesen Stube. Unten Tischtennis und und und.
Wer ein weißes Schloss erwartet ist hier falsch aber einfache Leute haben hier einen super Aufenthalt.
Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.
Absolut geeignet für große Gruppen. Gibt etliche Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Waschbecken.
Einkaufen und Wandern ging ohne Auto, alles per Pedes.
