Description
Something about the history of the house and the furnishings.
The city villa was built in 1913 and acquired by 2 sisters from Berlin, who handed it over to the church at an advanced age. Afterwards, the house was enlarged and operated as a nurses' home for many years. The nurses had their training centre here. Even today, at the request of our guests, many guest rooms have their own washbasin. After that, it was inhabited by a family of teachers, who already accommodated large music groups and families. We continue this tradition and in recent years have been pleased to welcome prominent musicians who now come to stay with us every year. In the meantime, many families have found their way to us and many interested groups. So all guest groups and large families are welcome!
The flat contains 1 triple room, 1 large room with a double bed and a cot, 1 large room with a double bed and an adjoining single room, 1 room with two single beds and 1 room with a double bed and an adjoining single room.
In addition, there is a large living room with a large sofa set (which can be extended for two people if necessary) and a table with a corresponding number of chairs. A beamer with a large screen is available. The large kitchen with a long table also invites you to linger
We have built in a small disco corner at the end of the kitchen. Well suited for parties and for the children as a mini disco. There are doors from both the living room and the kitchen to access the garden via a terrace. In addition to the 5 washbasins in the rooms, there are two bathrooms now both equipped with shower. (One of the bathrooms has been newly renovated)
Our garden has an old tree population and large lawns for playing, there you will also find a large trampoline and a football goal. In the cellar there is a table tennis table and a table football. 2 carports and parking spaces are also available on the property.

Location and surroundings of object
Villa "Haus Hoheneck" is located in the quiet villa district of Bad Sachsa. The centre is only 500m away.
The Vitalpark can actually be reached in such a short time via the so-called 5-minute walk. There you will find, among other things, an ice cream parlour and the tourist information office, as well as a pub pool, several sunbeds, a fitness area and a children's playground that was newly built in 2022, and there is also a mini-golf course. The vitality park has a large melting pond where you can go pedal boating and a zip line with a length of 130m. Also within easy reach are the great "Erlebnisbad" swimming pool with sauna area for pure relaxation and the ice skating rink in Bad Sachsa. (ice skating in winter as well as in summer) Regenbogenland, an indoor play paradise for young and old, and a sports centre with bowling alley.
Bad Sachsa is a hiker's paradise. The local hiking club, a branch of the Harzer Wanderklub, is only about 400m away. What is definitely worth seeing?
The Bad Sachsa vitality park with a melting pond, the town park by the town hall, St. Nikolai church with an altar from the 16th century, the 659m high Ravensberg with a view, the Sachsenstein castle ruins, the Kuckanstal with its miraculous spring, the Märchengrund - one of Germany's oldest fairytale parks, the Harz Falcon Farm, the Natural History Museum with a dinosaur exhibition, the permanent exhibition: Our True Identity Should Be Destroyed!, the Borderland Museum, the Walpurga Witch's Bench, the Winter Sports and Local History Museum, the Glass Museum in Steina. Also highly recommended is the monastery town of Walkenried with its monastery, the Cistercian Museum Walkenried Monastery and the exhibition in the manor house next to the monastery and the
UNESCO World Heritage Information Centre. There is also a unicorn cave not far away. Brochures for other excursion destinations are available in the villa.

| The holiday flat is rented to groups and families from 6 persons. In the months December to February from 8 persons or on request. The overnight price is 16 euros per person. (Exception for holidays) The final cleaning is 60 euros. The easiest way to calculate the total price is to use the offered price calculator. On request, you can rent linen packages (1x bed linen and 2 towels) per linen package at a price of 10 euros. |

If your trip is not possible due to district or state regulations related to COVID-19, then you can reschedule your trip free of charge up to one year later. We also strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. A dream villa in winter magic
Here, everything has been thought of! From cinema feeling, to table tennis table, great disco atmosphere, large pots for many people, to hand soap and hand towels!
Our family reunion was great. The snow really made the stay a winter fairy tale. We hope it works out to come back again. Additionally, the first recommendation to friends has already been given. ?

Beautiful and really big.
We felt very comfortable in our villa, had plenty of space, and the mini disco was a real highlight for the children. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary and was our home base for exploring the Harz Mountains. Just great!

Family weekend
Dear Mr. Schütte,
we had a very nice family weekend in your villa. Thank you for allowing us to postpone this meeting
for a year without any problems. We enjoyed ourselves and were especially pleased with the kitchen.
A big table where we could all eat together, you don't find that often! The living room was also large and spacious. Our young men could watch football very comfortably, as it was the European Championship. The washing facilities in the bedrooms are a very good way to avoid crowding in front of the bathrooms. The garden was ideal for our grandchildren to play in. We all had enough space. Next year's reunion will be joined by another young family. We have heard that you are in the process of preparing more rooms. We will therefore keep your address

Old villa with plenty of space
Hello Schütte family,
we stayed in your old villa with 6 adults and 3 children 2/2/5 and felt very comfortable. We really liked that there was a washbasin in every bedroom, so there were no bathroom bottlenecks. The huge amount of space in the house and garden also provided relaxation even in rainy weather. We also had a lot of fun playing table tennis in the basement.
We would like to give you a few suggestions:
For the warm season, a beverage cooler would be desirable, and we missed a swing/climbing frame and sandbox for the little ones.
But all in all, a great accommodation for large groups/family gatherings.

Perfect for large groups
Dear Schütte family,
We, 8 young adult friends, were more than impressed with the all-inclusive package. Starting with the impeccably equipped kitchen, to the living room with a projector and numerous board games. The location is quiet yet central. Both Bad Sachsa and the surrounding smaller towns offer plenty of variety, even when it rains. Towards the end of the vacation, it could have been peaceful to have 2 more days to fully enjoy the garden and terrace. We will do that on our next stay because we will come back :)
