Something about the history of the house and the furnishings.
The city villa was built in 1913 and acquired by 2 sisters from Berlin, who handed it over to the church at an advanced age. Afterwards, the house was enlarged and operated as a nurses' home for many years. The nurses had their training centre here. Even today, at the request of our guests, many guest rooms have their own washbasin. After that, it was inhabited by a family of teachers, who already accommodated large music groups and families. We continue this tradition and in recent years have been pleased to welcome prominent musicians who now come to stay with us every year. In the meantime, many families have found their way to us and many interested groups. So all guest groups and large families are welcome!
The flat contains 1 triple room, 1 large room with a double bed and a cot, 1 large room with a double bed and an adjoining single room, 1 room with two single beds and 1 room with a double bed and an adjoining single room.
In addition, there is a large living room with a large sofa set (which can be extended for two people if necessary) and a table with a corresponding number of chairs. A beamer with a large screen is available. The large kitchen with a long table also invites you to linger
We have built in a small disco corner at the end of the kitchen. Well suited for parties and for the children as a mini disco. There are doors from both the living room and the kitchen to access the garden via a terrace. In addition to the 5 washbasins in the rooms, there are two bathrooms now both equipped with shower. (One of the bathrooms has been newly renovated)
Our garden has an old tree population and large lawns for playing, there you will also find a large trampoline and a football goal. In the cellar there is a table tennis table and a table football. 2 carports and parking spaces are also available on the property.

Villa "Haus Hoheneck" is located in the quiet villa district of Bad Sachsa. The centre is only 500m away.
The Vitalpark can actually be reached in such a short time via the so-called 5-minute walk. There you will find, among other things, an ice cream parlour and the tourist information office, as well as a pub pool, several sunbeds, a fitness area and a children's playground that was newly built in 2022, and there is also a mini-golf course. The vitality park has a large melting pond where you can go pedal boating and a zip line with a length of 130m. Also within easy reach are the great "Erlebnisbad" swimming pool with sauna area for pure relaxation and the ice skating rink in Bad Sachsa. (ice skating in winter as well as in summer) Regenbogenland, an indoor play paradise for young and old, and a sports centre with bowling alley.
Bad Sachsa is a hiker's paradise. The local hiking club, a branch of the Harzer Wanderklub, is only about 400m away. What is definitely worth seeing?
The Bad Sachsa vitality park with a melting pond, the town park by the town hall, St. Nikolai church with an altar from the 16th century, the 659m high Ravensberg with a view, the Sachsenstein castle ruins, the Kuckanstal with its miraculous spring, the Märchengrund - one of Germany's oldest fairytale parks, the Harz Falcon Farm, the Natural History Museum with a dinosaur exhibition, the permanent exhibition: Our True Identity Should Be Destroyed!, the Borderland Museum, the Walpurga Witch's Bench, the Winter Sports and Local History Museum, the Glass Museum in Steina. Also highly recommended is the monastery town of Walkenried with its monastery, the Cistercian Museum Walkenried Monastery and the exhibition in the manor house next to the monastery and the
UNESCO World Heritage Information Centre. There is also a unicorn cave not far away. Brochures for other excursion destinations are available in the villa.

Family weekend
Dear Mr. Schütte,
we had a very nice family weekend in your villa. Thank you for allowing us to postpone this meeting
for a year without any problems. We enjoyed ourselves and were especially pleased with the kitchen.
A big table where we could all eat together, you don't find that often! The living room was also large and spacious. Our young men could watch football very comfortably, as it was the European Championship. The washing facilities in the bedrooms are a very good way to avoid crowding in front of the bathrooms. The garden was ideal for our grandchildren to play in. We all had enough space. Next year's reunion will be joined by another young family. We have heard that you are in the process of preparing more rooms. We will therefore keep your address

Alte Villa mit viel Platz
Guten Tag Familie Schütte,
wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern 2/2/5 in Ihrer alten Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat sehr gut gefallen, dass in jedem Schlafzimmer ein Waschbecken war, so gab es keine Engpässe im Bad.
Auch das riesige Platzangebot im Haus und im Garten, sorgten auch bei Regenwetter für Entspannung. Viel Spaß hatten wir auch beim Tischtennisspielen im Keller.
Wir möchten Ihnen gerne noch ein paar Anregungen geben:
Für die warme Jahreszeit wäre ein Getränkekühlschrank wünschenswert, auch haben wir für die Kleinen eine Schaukel/Klettergerüst und Sandkasten vermisst.
Aber alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft für große Gruppen/Familientreffen.

Perfekt für große Gruppen
Liebe Familie Schütte,
Wir, 8 junge Erwachsene Freunde waren vom Komplettpaket mehr als Begeistert. Angefangen bei der bestens ausgestatteten Küche, bis hin zum Wohnzimmer mit Beamer und zahlreichen Gesellschaftsspielen. Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch zentral. Sowohl Bad Sachsa, als auch die umliegenden kleineren Städte bieten genügend Abwechslung, auch wenn es mal regnet. Gegen Ende des Urlaubs hätten es dann doch ruhig 2 Tage länger sein können, um auch den Garten und die Terrasse voll genießen zu können. Das machen wir dann beim nächsten Aufenthalt, denn wir kommen wieder :)

Toll!

Familientreffen
Wir waren mit 7 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern (1 1/2 und 3 1/2 Jahre) in dem schönen alten Haus zusammengekommen. Die Übergabe klappte problemlos. Wir fanden ein gut ausgestattetes Haus vor, in dem sich alle wohlfühlten. Auch die Kinder waren begeistert von dem riesigen Raumangebot und vor allem von der „Disco“!! Wir nutzten auch den 5Minuten-Weg, um schnell ins Zentrum und auch den Kurpark zu gelangen. Alles hat gepasst und wir würden wiederkommen.

Everything fit!
We had ideal accommodation for our men's tour
Quiet location, each with his own room and the motorbikes were under cover. Breakfast in the large, bright, well-equipped kitchen, then on tour in the Harz mountains during the day, barbecue in the garden in the evening and then a card game in the parlour. There were plenty of tables, chairs and space everywhere
We lived in the house alone
Check-in and check-out were problem-free.

Beautiful family holiday
Dear family Schütte,
we enjoyed our holiday in your house very much. Yes, some things are still in need of renovation (which will probably happen soon for the sanitary facilities). But one notices your efforts to create a nice holiday accommodation. We (6 adults and a two-year-old) spent a lot of time in the cosy kitchen and enjoyed all the space. We also like the fact that the charm of the old house is preserved even with modern furnishings.
We wish you many more satisfied guests in the future.

in der Tat hat sich schon wieder vieles im Haus verändert. Es ist ein modernes Bad dazu gekommen.
Das Sie die Lage nur mit 4 Punkten bewertet haben hat uns etwas verwundert. Sie wohnten im grünen Villenviertel, Die Umgebung ist hier sehr leise und trotzdem gehört dieser Teil von Bad Sachsa noch zur Kernstadt. Es sind nur 300 m bis in den Zentrumsbereich. Zu Fuß ist man über den "5 Min. Weg" tatsächlich in 5 Min. z. B. beim Eiskaffee oder im Kurpark.
Am besten Sie schauen noch mal vorbei, dann zeige ich Ihnen die Möglichkeiten.

In need of renovation but perfect for many
We like it here very much. Of course, there is a need for renovation and the shower is very, very small, but otherwise we can't complain. One bathroom with window, shower without window, one bathroom also without window, but to be renovated
The kitchen is huge with everything you need and more, and the living room is huge. Downstairs table tennis and so on.
If you expect a white castle, you are wrong here, but simple people have a great stay here
We would definitely come back
Absolutely suitable for large groups. There are several bedrooms with their own washbasins.
Shopping and hiking was possible without a car, everything on foot.

Vielen Dank für die nette Bewertung Frau H. aus Schöningen. Wir hoffen Sie bald wieder bei uns in der Villa begrüßen zu können. In der Tat arbeiten wir in den mietfreien Zeiten ständig an Verbesserungen. Die Küche z. B. wurde im Frühjahr komplett neu gestaltet und vom Keller ins Erdgeschoss verlegt, fast alle Elektrogeräte sind jetzt doppelt vorhanden. In den letzten Tage wurde im Badezimmer das Fenster ausgewechselt der Raum ist jetzt viel heller. Letztes Jahr erfolgte die Eindeckung vom Carportdach mit neuen Dachpfannen. Inzwischen gibt es für Kinder ein großes Trampolin und ein Fußballtor im großen Garten. Wir freuen uns immer wenn unsere Gäste zufrieden sind. Außer unseren lieben Feriengästen durften wir dieses Jahr auch eine Band bei uns in der Villa begrüßen.
Jetzt freuen wir uns auf die nächsten Gäste!
