This attractive 47 sqm holiday flat is located directly at the Kiel Schilksee marina in the Hotel Olympia. There is room for up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. The flat is located on the 4th floor and is easily accessible via 2 lifts. From the south-facing balcony you have a side sea view of the Kiel Fjord.

Location and surroundings of object

A public indoor seawater pool with a separate warm children's pool is in the immediate vicinity.

It is only a few minutes' walk to the child-friendly long, white sandy beach. No visitor's tax. The bus stop to the town centre and railway station is directly in front of the house. The ferry pier with connections to Laboe and the city centre of Kiel during the season is also within walking distance in a few minutes.

Several restaurants and a small shopping market are in the immediate vicinity. Also the well-known harbour kiosk "Goldfisch" with the "best fish sandwiches".

Schilksee is an ideal starting point for a variety of excursions on land and water.

In the neighbouring village of Strande, which can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, there is another beautiful, child-friendly sandy beach. There you can enjoy fresh fish and other delicacies in 3 "Strandbuden".

Absolutely recommended!!!

We arrived with three adults. My mother has difficulty walking and needs a walker. The house is perfect for that. A flat ramp leads to the elevators.

The apartment itself is extremely functional and lovingly furnished. Many little details have been considered. A bottle of water and a bottle of sparkling wine awaited invitingly in the fridge. On the beds, there was a small treat for everyone. There was a fresh dishcloth, dish sponge, and a dish towel, as well as a sufficient number of dish tabs. The bathroom was so incredibly clean that we have never experienced that before! Mrs. Schüler-Boldt is incredibly nice and friendly. We spoke multiple times over the phone before our arrival, and during our stay, we were in friendly contact. We even got to meet in person, as she was there with her family as well.

We actually wanted to stay from August 8 to 22. 08 stay, but had to leave on the 18th of 08 due to a family emergency.

All in all, we give an absolute recommendation! We will remember the apartment should we want to come back to Schilksee again.

Every year it is always nice to be here.

We go to this accommodation every year and are simply thrilled. The contact with the landlord is great. The apartment is always very clean and the reception is just nice. The landlords have lovingly and purposefully furnished everything. Whether beach toys or movies, books, and games for rainy days or a family evening, everything is there!

Beautiful vacation apartment in Kiel-Schilksee

We have now spent our vacation in this apartment for the 3rd year in a row. It is always nice, the apartment is super equipped, very clean and well-maintained, and the landlords take very good care if anything should happen. We feel absolutely comfortable in the apartment and always like coming back here.

Regatta Vacation

The apartment is well equipped, with plenty of everything available. Everything was clean, tidy, and tastefully furnished. The location is ideal for sailors; you can quickly get to the Olympic harbor with the boat. Super nice landlords; if there had been any problems, a contact person would have been there. We would visit the apartment again at any time.

Beautiful holiday apartment

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. The furnishings are very nice. There are books and toys for the children. The building has an elevator. The free beach is just a few minutes' walk away. A bus stops right in front of the building. Free parking is also available. The Boldt family is very nice. The apartment corresponds to the photos provided.
We would love to come again.

1a apartment in the best location

Great equipped apartment at the Olympic Centre in Schilksee, we felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

The furnishings are particularly noteworthy: Kitchen accessories/cooking utensils are top! The separate children's room with enough games and books as well as the Blu Ray player with DVDs was great for my boys.
The parking space and the bus stop right in front of the door were also great.

Nordic charm at the Schilksee sailing harbour

An extremely attractive holiday flat. You quickly forget that it is on the 4th floor of a high-rise building when you enter
A Nordic ambience, furnished with love and charm. The beach picture in the hallway is delightful. There are good hints for holidays around the place. The landlords have thought of everything.
Even plasters for first aid and sewing kit!
We would be happy to recommend the flat!

Beautiful beach holiday

We rented the can for 10 days at short notice. Everything was very uncomplicated and worked out well. The flat is well equipped. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning.
Mrs Schüler-Boldt got back to us quickly if we had any questions. Thank you for that
The transport connections were very good, so we could leave the car at home all the time.

Very nice cozy accommodation, perfect for sailors!

The apartment is very lovingly furnished and perfect for a family with children. Everything you need as a sailor or beach holidaymaker is available, from a clothes horse to a coffee machine. The proximity to the Olympic harbor offers a great atmosphere, even if you just want to watch boats and seagulls. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. We felt very comfortable.

Restful vacation

We stayed in the vacation rental for a week. We felt very comfortable. The view was fantastic. The furnishings were good. We only had two things. There was no oven and no cupboard to hang our things in. It was unfortunately filled with cleaning supplies. Other than that, everything was great. The landlords were also very nice.

Great holiday apartment in a great location

My wife and I had vacation on Fehmarn, initially were a bit cautious because of the Corona restrictions. However, after it turned out that everything was more relaxed than expected, we wanted to add a few days in Kiel. So, during our research, we came across the "Dose". The (admittedly very brief) inquiry was promptly answered and after a very nice phone call, a spontaneous stay was also completely uncomplicated. The description for the arrival with key handover went smoothly. The apartment was optimal for both of us. Everything nicely furnished and everything we needed was available. The balcony offers a beautiful view. In general, it is very quiet (apart from the seagulls). The environment is beautiful, due to Corona it was relatively empty everywhere. The district is a good starting point for bike tours. Conclusion: If we come back to Kiel, we would rent the "Dose" again at any time.
