2026 is finally the time! After more than 2 years of major construction, the beach is scheduled to reopen in July 2026, and the spa park has already been extensively modernized.
Spend a carefree holiday in our cozy holiday home in Friedrichskoog-Spitze on the North Sea coast. Leave everyday life behind and find pure relaxation and recreation.
Our holiday home (partially newly furnished) was built in solid construction and faced with brick in 1999. Here our guests will find a tasteful, comfortable atmosphere to feel at home on a total living area of 80 square meters. On the first floor, there are 2 cozy bedrooms with enough space for up to 4 people. All beds have been equipped with new slatted frames and mattresses. In the large bedroom, a new baby bed has also been set up; a second foldable baby bed is also available there. From the large bedroom you can access the spacious rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the view on new terrace furniture. A fully equipped, high-quality fitted kitchen is located in the newly furnished living and dining area on the ground floor. In good weather, you can make yourself comfortable outdoors on the separate terrace. Here, new terrace furniture is also available. The terrace has about 10m² of covered seating area. A new beach chair is available for our guests.
For entertainment, our guests have access to a flat-screen TV with satellite receiver, a Blu-ray DVD player, a micro hi-fi system, as well as free Wi-Fi with a limited data volume (upon signing a usage agreement). A small selection of music and books is also provided. On the second floor (attic) we have set up a playroom, where the children can play undisturbed; there is a large play table and, of course, plenty of games, toys, and books.
The bathroom with new washbasin and mirrored cabinets (September 2018), toilet, shower, and washing machine is located on the ground floor.
A new gas boiler was also installed in September 2018.
The entrance area was also completely redesigned. All blinds in the house are electrically operated.
In the garage with electric door opener, vehicles up to approx. 5 meters in length or bicycles can be parked; for our guests, 1 men's and 1 women's bicycle are available free of charge.
From 10.07.2021, a high-quality professional Dino Car with passenger seat will be available for our guests upon signing a usage agreement, for a maintenance fee and deposit. Furthermore, 2 e-bikes and an e-scooter with road approval can be rented for a fee and deposit.
In spring 2024, a PV system will be installed on the building, and a wallbox will then be located in the garage.
You are welcome to charge your electric car for free with the surplus PV electricity; the system will generate approx. 5 kW, and the modules are oriented to the south.

Our holiday home is located in a quiet end of a cul-de-sac in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea dyke, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.
Supply possibilities (supermarket, bakery as well as restaurants and other shops) are a few hundred metres away from the holiday home and within easy walking distance in Friedrichskoog-Spitze. Further shopping facilities are then available in Friedrichskoog Ort, details of which can be found in our house folder. There is a large children's playground on the dyke. The 2.6 km long bathing beach is freely accessible, there is an extra section for naturists and a dog beach.
The Friedrichskoog Seal Sanctuary is the only authorised reception centre for seals found abandoned or sick in Schleswig-Holstein, and is open all year round
The Wal Willi indoor play park in Friedrichskoog is a play paradise for children! Directly at the old harbour of Friedrichskoog, children can marvel at the gigantic whale.
A hike on the Trischendamm in Friedrichskoog-Spitze is a unique experience. Pure nature. The 2.2-kilometre-long Trischendamm leads dry-footed through the middle of the Wadden Sea Biosphere Reserve. Along salt marshes, accompanied by the harsh sea breeze, you walk towards the sea. Let yourself be inspired by the tranquillity, the impressive landscape, the vastness and beauty of the Wadden Sea. In good weather you can see Büsum and Cuxhaven from the Trischendamm.
The historic Vergissmeinnicht wedding mill is also worth a visit, and you can also get married there.
In Marne, about 15 minutes away by car, you can ride the Marschenbahn draisine on historic tracks through the beautiful Dithmarscher Land.

Charging electric cars with surplus PV electricity is free of charge; charging with grid electricity is subject to a fee and will be billed according to the current rates of the supplier.
Dogs are welcome and also do not incur any additional costs. Laundry packages consisting of fitted sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover as well as bath towel, hand towel, guest towel and bath mat can be booked additionally at a price of €18 per package.

Happy Easter holiday.
It is a beautiful, tastefully furnished, functional holiday home. With a beautiful terrace with a beach chair and a rooftop terrace. Five minutes walking to the dyke. Ten minutes to the bakery, ice cream parlor, and shopping. Also great for dog walks. Super restaurants in the area.
