In this cosy wooden house, suitable for 5-6 people, an open-plan living/dining area with hallway awaits you on the ground floor (approx. 65 m²). 1 bedroom with double bed 140 and (sofa bed), in the lower area, as well as shower/WC.
In the upper area (30 m²) there are 2 further bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 m²) and one with 2 single beds, as well as a bathroom/WC.
A wood stove provides comfort in cool weather. On the entrance terrace you can have breakfast in the morning sun, on the south terrace you can enjoy the day sun. The property is approx. 780 sqm, framed by lawn, (no fence), driveway and parking space.

Wesselburenerkoog, in Dithmarschen.
Situated on the North Sea and Eider, between Hamburg and Sylt, between Husum and Büsum,
right next to the Wadden Sea National Park.
Wesselburenerkoog is the ideal starting point for your North Sea stay. Whether on your own free bathing beach, or whether in St. Peter Ording to the Dünentherme or to the Wellebbad and Spa in Büsum. All wellness facilities and experiences can be found in the immediate vicinity.
Horse riding fans will find a wide range of possibilities: Horse riding by the sea, learning dressage riding or pony rides for the little ones. Everything is possible.
Trips to Sylt by train (1 hour) or by ship to Helgoland (2.5 hours) or Amrum. For nature lovers and bird watchers there is also a lot to see in and around the Wesselburener Koog.
Excursions to the Wadden Sea National Park are offered by the local tourist association.

Blue House, Wesselburenerkoog

On the day of arrival, we were personally welcomed by the nice landlord with a bottle of wine.
We felt very comfortable in this cozy Swedish house and had a good time.
In the somewhat aging house, some furnishings should be replaced or supplemented.
The house can comfortably accommodate 4-6 people and a dog.
The storage of clothing was somewhat difficult due to the lack of closets. We therefore also used the 3rd. Bedroom spread out.
On the day before departure, our landlady personally said goodbye to us again with a bottle of Secco and informed us.
We are very happy to recommend the accommodation further.

Wonderful Days

All in all, it was a beautiful short vacation in the Blue House by the North Sea dyke. For families as well as for couples with or without dogs. Very nice contact with the owner.

Solid accommodation with great location

The accommodation is in a really great location – ideal for enjoying the North Sea. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The facilities are okay, nothing special, but sufficient. In terms of cleanliness, it could have been a bit more thorough, and the service was rather average. Overall, a solid choice if you primarily value location and price.

Thank you very much for the nice stay in 2023.

Everything was very nice and clean. Only the lamps should be checked, as the ceiling light in the bedroom is defective. A few small cooking pots in the kitchen would also be great.

Beautiful, quiet holiday home

We enjoyed the time very much, it is very quiet and only 350 m to the natural swimming beach. The house is very spacious, we were there with 3 adults and 2 children. The only thing that bothered us was the bad mobile phone reception in the holiday home settlement and the very bad Wi-Fi. But that was also the only thing that bothered us a little. In conclusion, I can say that we will definitely come back.

It's getting better.

The house is worn out.
Not cleaned properly.
The entrance is not inviting.
The house is poorly maintained, for example: the beach chair was soaked from the rain and there were still used socks from the previous tenant inside.
The landlady came in the evening, stood in front of the door, and asked if we wanted to ask her something. We had just arrived and had not been able to look at the house yet, so the answer was no. And she was gone again.

Beautiful holiday

Beautiful and quietly located holiday home in the middle of a holiday complex on the dyke, which is about 400 m away
The house was very clean when we arrived. Maybe you could have provided some washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs and a dishcloth for washing up for the subsequent tenants, which you do other holiday home renters. As we arrived at the weekend, it was not possible to go shopping.
The dyke invites you to go for a walk and if the weather is good, as it was for us, you can go swimming here at high tide. Even our dog was happy and could enjoy the sea water.
The explicit location of the holiday home invites you to go on excursions in the nearer and further surrounding area, we think there is something for everyone.
it was also great when we arrived that the owner introduced himself and gave us some tips. So not as anonymous as with others.
Unfortunately we are now back home in the Harz, but another week would have been nice.
On the whole, this house is highly recommended and if we know anyone who wants to go to the North Sea, we will recommend it.

Sie haben Recht eine Grundausstattung Tabs, Spüli und Spültuch sollte vorhanden sein (ist ansonsten auch immer da), wurde von der Reinigungsdame vergessen. Vielleicht konnte der Gemüsekorb mit frischem Gemüse vom Hof das gut machen? Das Haus liegt ja direkt am Deich - der Strand ist jedoch 400 m entfernt. Ihre Vermieter freuen sich wenn Sie das Haus weiter empfehlen. Grüße in den Harz von der seit Tagen sehr warmen Nordseeküste.

A fantastic week at the North Sea

Last week, we spent a wonderful time in Wesselburenerkoog. The house is located in a small holiday home settlement directly behind the dike and offers spacious accommodation for up to six people, divided into three spacious bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen allows for almost all culinary delights, on cold days the beautiful wood-burning stove warms up, on hot days a cozy beach chair and two sun loungers are available on the terrace (with sandbox) along with other outdoor furniture and the covered veranda. The garden invites the kids to play. We will definitely come back next year.
