Charming thatched-roof cottage for 2-4 people, with a beautiful, fully enclosed garden. It has two bedrooms and a wood-burning stove, which invites you to spend cosy hours on stormy days and stiff North Sea breezes. 2 bedrooms - one on the lower level and one on the upper level

perfectly equipped kitchen and the cosy living room - everything contributes to absolute rest and relaxation on holiday.
The location is absolutely quiet. Relax with a book by the fireplace, or in the upper reading corner with wing chair and view of the dyke opposite
The beautiful garden invites you to have breakfast in summer, to lie in the sun and to enjoy long summer evenings at the barbecue. 5 chairs, a garden table, parasol, barbecue and sun loungers available
A well behaved small to medium sized dog is allowed.

Pearl behind the dike
The small house is a perfect retreat and starting point for bike tours. The thatched former fisherman's cottage welcomed us with individually designed furnishings and many loving details, such as the newly upholstered cocktail chairs. In the attic, accessible by a daringly steep staircase, there is a great reading spot with a view of the dike and the cows walking along it at sunset. Some interesting books are available. The location described by many as remote is something we cannot understand. In just a few minutes, Tönning or Lunden can be reached by bike/car. The kitchen is practically and fully equipped except for a missing extractor hood. What we did miss, however, were insect screens on the windows. Our conclusion: charming and worth returning to :-)

Very satisfied
We didn't imagine it to be so remote. But still, a wonderful little house. Our dog was the most satisfied; he had a fenced property. Everything was present in the house (we missed a few small things - an egg cooker, saucers, salad spinner - others may not need them either, great little house - always recommendable.

Berichtigen möchte ich den "Damm" es handelt sich um einen Innendeich, der das Land bei Hochwasser schützt. Eine Salatschleuder wurde noch NIE von Gästen gewünscht und die Frage nach dem Eierkocher gebe ich gerne weiter. Wir würden uns freuen Sie einmal wieder im Häuschen begrüßen zu dürfen.

The thatched cottage on the dyke
Today I would like to give a review for this fantastically cosy house. the house, the furnishings and the garden are so lovingly designed and decorated that my family and I immediately felt at home. If we had known how great it was there, we would have booked a longer stay from the start. Even though the house is further away, you can reach destinations like Büsum, Husum or SPO within 30 minutes by car. You can explore the surroundings very well by bike and for shopping there are several shops in Tönning where you can buy your groceries. For us it is certain that we will come again. And our dog also felt very comfortable. The property is also fenced, so our four-legged friend could also stay alone in the garden. This accommodation is 100% recommendable.

Ruhige Lage, gemütliche Ausstattung und von der Lage her sind alle Ausflugsziele wie St. Peter-Ording, Büsum, und von dort Ausflüge auf die Inseln und Halligen gut erreichbar. Alles in Allem kann man hier einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen und so soll es doch auch sein.

A great place to relax
Those looking for peace and quiet will be perfectly accommodated here. Unless the mooing of the cows and the blocking of the sheep is considered unpleasant
The house is very tastefully furnished and lovingly decorated!
A place where you can feel at home!
The garden is equipped with an outdoor barbecue! So long barbecue evenings are possible here! The open dining-living area is great and the kitchen has everything you need to make it work!
Although the house is very quietly situated, it has the advantages to reach the essential hot spots like: St. Peter-Ording, Husum or Büsum within shortest time. Shopping is possible in Tönning! There you will find the important discounters like Aldi, Lidl and also Rewe!
All the shops are centrally located and you can be there in about 5 minutes by car! St. Peter-Ording and Husum are about 25 minutes away! Flensburg is about 60 minutes away!
So you can use this holiday home as a perfect base camp for day trips, have a lot of fun at the tourist places and in the evening, far away from any hustle and bustle, end the evening with cows and sheep without any stress!
This is the third time we have stayed in this house and we look forward to coming back every time!
For my wife and I it already feels like coming home!
For us it is perfect because you have everything and the distances, even to the beach, are acceptable!
