The Honigschlecker house is located in Riedetsweiler, an idyllic little village on the outskirts of Meersburg. 250 inhabitants, a vineyard, a farm shop, a mailbox, a telephone pillar, a chapel and behind it the Honigschleckerhaus and all this including a great panoramic view of Lake Constance and the Alps.
It is a small detached house for nature lovers, idyllic and quietly situated in the countryside, surrounded by meadows, right next to a paddock. Not far away - about 5 minutes on foot - there is a forest with a small pond. Situated at the edge of the Jakobweg, Riedetsweiler is an ideal starting point for walks, hikes and bike tours
If you like action and people: the centre of Meersburg is only 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot away - with many shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, castle etc. and the ferry to Konstanz as well as a harbour for excursions. For city trips Friedrichshafen (15 km) and Konstanz (with ferry 2 km) are very close. Lindau (35 km) and Bregenz (40 km) are also easily accessible by boat or train.
Bathing possibilities Meersburg: Public sunbathing lawn with free lake access, open-air swimming pool with div. basins and lake access, the Meersburg thermal bath, the probably most beautiful thermal bath of the Bodensee `s - south sea feeling inclusive - the most beautiful place at the lake to relax and make OOOM. A lake and thermal bath with several outdoor saunas in the "South Sea and pile dwellings - style" and indoor relaxation oasis - wellness offers (massages, ).
For shopping you can reach a Lidl, Edeka or REWE in about 5 minutes drive, in the neighboring house is a farm shop with apples, potatoes, vegetables, drinks, honey, wine, etc..
