Description
Our thatched-roof holiday home with its 2 captain's gables was completed in 2017 using solid construction methods and is located in the Baltic Sea Holiday Park Rerik. This newly developed holiday home settlement is close to the Baltic Sea beach and consists of both thatched-roof houses and houses with classic roofing
The 628 sqm plot is located on the edge of the holiday park. The view to the south is unobstructed, so an undisturbed view over the cooling (landscape conservation area) is included. As there are floor-to-ceiling windows in almost all rooms, you can enjoy the view not only from the terrace but also from inside the house
The house itself has a living area of approx. 160 sqm and is modern and family-friendly furnished. It currently offers space for 6 people with its 3 bedrooms. From 2018, a total of 8 people in 4 bedrooms will be able to spend the most beautiful weeks of the year here.
Our low-energy house is heated by means of an air/heat pump and has triple glazing. A regulated ventilation system with heat recovery ensures pleasant air circulation. This means that there is always pleasant ventilation in the bedrooms even when the windows are closed. All rooms have underfloor heating, which radiates a pleasant warmth in autumn and winter
All sockets are child-proof and at the staircase to the upper floor (both upstairs and downstairs) as well as at the staircase to the attic, the existing child safety gates can be hooked in or out if required.
On the ground floor there is a light-flooded bathroom with extra-large bathtub; bathroom radio, walk-in shower at ground level and large double washbasin. There is also a spacious living and dining area with an open-plan kitchen. This is equipped with a separate cooking island and everything else you need for a pleasant stay. This includes a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an electric stove/ceramic hob, an oven, a ceiling bonnet for extractor fan, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a blender, a microwave and a microwave oven
The large sofa corner and a 49'' TV invite you to spend cosy evenings watching TV if the weather is not cooperating for once. Furthermore, there is a fireplace in the living area for the cooler autumn and winter days.
In a small separate room in the hallway is the washing machine and under the stairs to the first floor you can store various things for your daily needs.
The upper floor has 3 large bedrooms (each approx. 16 sqm), each with a large 2 x 2 m double bed and a large sliding door wardrobe, and one bedroom (approx. 12 sqm) with a 1.90 m x 2 m double bed. A recliner chair provides a good retreat in each of the large bedrooms, should that be at all necessary
Finally, the 2nd bathroom with large double washbasin and walk-in shower at ground level is also located on the upper floor.
Except for the kitchen area and the inaccessible HWR, all windows are equipped with electric shutters. This ensures optimal darkening of all bedrooms, which allows for a restful and long sleep on holiday.
There is a large parking space on the property, which offers room for 3 cars.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a newly built holiday home area. The beach is approx. 0.8 to 1 km away and easily accessible on foot
Wismar is about 25 minutes away and Warnemünde and Rostock about 30 minutes. The Baltic seaside resort of Kühlungsborn is only 15 minutes away and the island of Poel is about 25 minutes away.
Rerik itself is simply quiet and idyllic. This is something you rarely find in the Baltic Sea resorts of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

In Germany, we usually end up on the Baltic Sea coast and attach great importance to detached, family-friendly holiday homes with upscale furnishings.
