Description
The beautiful, generously furnished thatched house Seeigel is located in the state-recognised resort of Glowe on the island of Rügen in the quiet and wind-protected part of the village, not far from the beach and harbour. The house is located on an end plot directly on the edge of the forest in the newly built Ostseepark Glowe. The location of the house will more than compensate you for the longest drive in the holiday park. When you enter the approximately 1100m² large property, you dive into another world. To the west, the view opens up to you over pristine grassland with large sea buckthorn bushes. Here you can experience beautiful sunsets on the terrace. The south-facing terrace tempts you to have breakfast outdoors. The large distances to the neighbouring properties guarantee you the peace and quiet you need to relax. Loungers invite you to relax on the green spaces. Treat yourself to a good book, a glass of wine or simply the sun. A beach chair helps you enjoy nature in cooler weather. Hornbeam hedges don't separate you, but arouse curiosity about what is hidden behind them, ideal for children to play hide-and-seek. A table tennis table encourages exercise in the fresh air and in quiet times, the wild neighbours, such as hare and deer, provide variety on the property.
The house Seeigel has a living area of approx. 150 m² and is modern and family-friendly, mainly furnished in country house style. Here you will feel completely at home, no matter what the season or the weather. The house was built and furnished accordingly. The concept of the sea urchin accommodates families who want to spend their holidays with several generations. The bathroom on the ground floor is handicapped accessible. The bedroom and study on the ground floor eliminate the need for laborious stair climbing if required. The upper floor has three more bedrooms with a total of six beds. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds. Children's travel beds can also be placed in these rooms if required. One room is intended as a children's room and is equipped with two stacking beds that can be placed according to your requirements. In the converted attic there is a living/sleeping area with two further stacking beds. All beds are equipped with high-quality mattresses. In the double beds, the mattresses have different degrees of firmness to accommodate your needs as much as possible. A second high-quality bathroom is available to you during your stay in the attic, with a bathtub, ground-level shower and double washbasin.
The cosy living room with fireplace and dining area invites everyone to spend time together. In the generously equipped kitchen you can prepare delicacies together. However, the house also offers many retreats to relax in smaller groups or alone. Each room has a table and chairs and comfortable upholstered furniture invites you to linger on each floor. Weather permitting, there are two terraces, each with a table and 4 or 9 garden chairs.
The house has an extensive library in which you are welcome to browse. Games, toys, DVDs and many audio books are also available for you. Of course, the holiday home also has a washing machine, dryer, internet access via LAN/WLAN, two children's high chairs, a children's travel cot, radio, an LCD TV in the living room and another LCD TV in the attic.
Three parking spaces are located directly on the property. For bicycles there is a bicycle rack at the holiday home. A garden barbecue with extensive barbecue accessories is available for barbecues. The holiday home is a non-smoking house and suitable for allergy sufferers. Therefore, it is completely tiled and pets are not allowed.

additional information:
Sunny Rügen is the largest island in Germany. It lies off the Pomeranian Baltic coast in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The "gateway" to the island of Rügen is the beautiful Hanseatic city of Stralsund. From Stralsund, the island is connected to the mainland by the Rügen Dam and the Rügen Bridge. The island's rugged coastline is strongly indented by many bays (Bodden or Wieken), peninsulas and headlands.
Rügen is one of Germany's tourist strongholds. The island is popular with holidaymakers because of its diverse landscape and long, fine-sand beaches, so it is not surprising that the island accounts for about a quarter of all overnight stays in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern every year.
The most important holiday resorts are Binz, Sellin and Göhren as well as Sassnitz and Glowe as state-recognised resorts. In addition to seaside tourism, however, Rügen's unique natural and cultural landscape also attracts holidaymakers. In addition to the classic sights such as Cape Arkona, the chalk cliffs, the KdF seaside resort in Prora, Granitz hunting lodge or the classicist buildings of Putbus, the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek has enjoyed great popularity for several years. The Jasmund Peninsula is home to the Jasmund National Park, with the extensive beech forests of the Stubnitz and the famous chalk cliffs
Between Jasmund and Wittow, in the northern part of Rügen, lies the former fishing village of Glowe and attracts many holidaymakers every year with its approx. 8 km long white sandy beach.
The popular holiday resort with a direct view of Cape Arkona offers its visitors various restaurants, ice cream parlours, fish smokehouses, bakeries and a supermarket - everything you need on holiday.
On the spa square directly on the beach of Glowe, numerous events take place during the season for guests young and old.
Glowe has good connections to the public transport system and offers guests a wide range of activities, such as horseback riding, kiting, windsurfing, sailing, hiking and deep-sea and Bodden fishing tours.
A cycling tour from Glowe to Vitt and on to Cape Arkona is recommended. The path leads initially through the pine forests of the Schaabe and then along the high shore of the Tromper Wiek, past an impressive Stone Age grave and many views over the Baltic Sea. Treat yourself to a break in Goor "Zur kleinen Rast". Here you can enjoy homemade cake and coffee and a spectacular view over the sea towards Glowe.
