Exclusive holiday home with lots of space inside, as well as outside. The house stands on a sqm plot and is surrounded by a garden of about sqm with partly old fruit trees and a playing field - ideal for families with children or as a meeting point for families who want to get together in the middle of Germany, because there is plenty of space to spread out, play and move around

Also ideal for winter sports enthusiasts, as it is only a 10-minute drive to Willingen and its ski area, the Ettelsberg, Köhlerhagen or Ritzhagen.

The holiday home is situated on the outskirts of the village and is surrounded on 3 sides by fields, meadows and forests. In the immediate vicinity (approx. 1.2 km) is the Diemelsee, which has its charm both in summer and winter and offers a variety of sports, leisure and recreational opportunities, whether in the water (bathing/swimming, boating/kayaking), under water (diving), around the lake (hiking, walking, inline skating, mountain biking), or on the Wassen (in winter, when the ice allows walking).

The Petit École holiday home is located in the middle of the Diemelsee Nature Park and is part of the Rothaar Mountains. Willingen with its great variety of sports, leisure and recreational opportunities is 10 minutes away by car
The Diemelsee Nature Park offers plenty of space for experiencing nature, relaxation and recreation. It stands for the mini-interaction of nature and landscape in which man has only a cautious influence.

The Diemelsee is in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home (1.2 km), offers a variety of recreational and sporting opportunities and is also an attraction for young and old in winter, when it is closed for ice skating

If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind for a few days or a holiday, you will find ideal conditions here. The house with its beautiful garden is located on the outskirts of the village. The property is surrounded on 3 sides by fields and meadows, with a large wooded area adjacent to it

The huge garden, partly with old fruit trees, awakens childhood memories for many: Plenty of space for play, fun and exercise. Shade from the fruit trees and the large lime tree, which invites you to take a siesta in the afternoon and offers plenty of space in the evening to barbecue by candlelight and drink a cool beer or a well-chilled rosé.

In the event of cancellation, we charge a cancellation fee equal to the entire cost of the overnight stay. If the holiday home can be rented out to someone else, we will not charge any cancellation fees.

We let ourselves be guided by this impression throughout the entire renovation phase

We ourselves appreciate the absolute tranquillity of this house and the entire property, both during the day and at night.
The covered outdoor seating area and the garden invite you to spend as much time as possible outdoors, to enjoy the view of the hills and forests and to simply let your mind wander - wonderful!

Beautiful house, but ...

...not suitable for winter. A very beautiful house, but in winter you have to budget for horrendous electricity costs. We consumed 442 kilowatt of electricity in one week! One has to think about the ecological footprint. The house, the location, and also the service were great.

vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback und Bewertung des Aufenthalts.
Einen Gedanken möchten wir dazu äußern: Stromverbräuche hängen von vielen, insbesondere individuellen Faktoren ab und deshalb fallen sie unterschiedlich hoch aus - das zeigt unsere Verbrauchsstatistik, die wir intern führen. Unsere Gäste haben dabei die Wahl zwischen dem Einsatz des großen Kaminofens im Wohn- und Essbereich und den Infrarot-Heizkörpern sowie der Klima-Split-Anlage, die sich in den Zimmern und im Souterrain befinden. Je nachdem, welche Heizform stärker präferiert wird, fällt der Stromverbrauch höher oder geringer aus. Am wohlsten fühlen sich unsere Gäste über die Wintermonate dann, wenn der Kaminofen permanent betrieben wird und die Wärme sich über die gesamte Fläche verteilen kann und in den Schlafzimmern die Infrarot-Heizkörper moderat betrieben werden. Dann liegt der Stromverbrauch in einem für die Größe des Hauses angemessenen Bereich.
Da wir für das Haus 100% Ökostrom beziehen und eben keine Gas- oder Ölheizung nutzen, sind wir sehr zuversichtlich, dass der ökologische Gedanke berücksichtigt wird.

Wir wünschen Ihnen eine gute Zeit und vielleicht dürfen wir Sie einmal in den Sommermonaten als unsere Gäste begrüßen.
