Description

On the ground floor: 1 bedroom, 1 disabled-friendly bathroom with walk-in/ accessible shower and WC, fully equipped high-quality kitchen, dining area in the conservatory, as well as open-plan living area overlooking the ridge - equipped with 2 sofas, table, wood-burning stove, SmartTV, DVD player, stereo system and 2 logs. The ground floor is barrier-free.

Upstairs: 2 more bedrooms, second bathroom with bathtub and infrared sauna and separate WC with larger sink. Living gallery and 2 sunny balconies underline the stylish character.
The beds are made up with bed linen, hand/bath towels are provided for you in the bathrooms.

Outside: 3 parking spaces directly at the house. The house is surrounded by lawn and meadow with fruit trees and is situated above the village on a slope. Therefore, you have a fantastic view of the countryside and the nearest town, Volkmarsen with the Kugelsburg.

The nearest towns are Volkmarsen, Bad Arolsen and Warburg. Pets welcome on request.

You will stay in a newly built, exclusively furnished holiday home of approx. 140 sqm in a hillside location with a 20 km distant view over meadows, groves and fields to the chains of hills of the Habichtswald.
A south-facing conservatory allows you to enjoy the great view of the surroundings all year round and to enjoy your first coffee at the long wooden table with a view of the greenery already in the morning.
Due to the distribution of the bedrooms and bathrooms over both floors, the house can also be used as a 2-generation house: Grandparents take up residence on the ground floor and parents with children on the upper floor.
On the two loggias on the ground floor and the two sunny balconies on the upper floor, you can sit undisturbed and enjoy the fresh air and the sun, depending on how the wind blows. The furnishings include 4 garden chairs, 2 small garden tables and 4 garden loungers.
Another special feature is the open construction in the living area, which allows a view right up to the ridge beam. A sandstone-clad wall and fireplace on the ground floor and a gallery on the upper floor underline the exclusivity of the entire house. In the evenings, the stove, which can be used to heat the entire house to a cosy warmth, is a particularly cosy feature.

Washing machine and dryer are a matter of course, as is the fully equipped kitchen with all electrical appliances and bathrooms with high-quality fittings. The house is a non-smoking house and equipped for allergy sufferers. Pets are possible on request. Car parking spaces are located directly in front of the house and are free of charge.

The house is situated in a quiet area and is therefore suitable for families with children.
The equipment includes a children's high chair, a baby changing unit, a separate children's travel bed as well as stair and socket protectors. Children can romp and play to their heart's content on the large lawn belonging to the house.
The ground floor is handicapped accessible and suitable for wheelchairs.

A free WLAN connection is available in the house. Working in a relaxed atmosphere and quiet surroundings is possible here at any time.

Location and surroundings of object

Hörle is conveniently located near the A44 motorway (Kassel - Dortmund) and is surrounded by numerous picturesque towns, such as Volkmarsen, baroque Bad Arolsen with its castle or Warburg, which is characterised by its half-timbered houses
Directly at the 'border triangle' (Westphalia - Hesse - Waldeck) lies the agricultural village, which dates back to the 4th century AD (first documented in 1128).

The village is surrounded by extensive forests and nature reserves, but also lakes such as the largest Hessian reservoir, the Edersee or the Twistesee with its water skiing facilities or the Diemelsee, which is embedded in the Diemelsee Nature Park.

A wide range of leisure and sports activities are sure to keep you busy during your holiday. In addition to one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in Germany, located directly on the Twistesee, the Waldecker Land and the neighbouring Hochsauerland as a holiday region invites you to numerous activities on water, on land and in the air.
How about canoeing, paddling, swimming, fishing, gliding, clay pigeon shooting, golfing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking and geotrecking ..... !

If you love history and culture, you will get your money's worth. Likewise if you are looking for peace and quiet to switch off from the stressful (working) everyday life.

In winter, the well-known skiing area of Willingen in the neighbouring Hochsauerland, a good half-hour's drive away, invites you to enjoy winter sports with its well-prepared slopes and cross-country trails.

The holiday home is particularly suitable for families with children (little traffic, lots of space, lawns and meadows around the house).
The ground floor is suitable for wheelchair users and has a level (accessible) shower without a step, a double washbasin that can be accessed from underneath, variable grab rails in the shower, a support aid at the toilet and raised mattresses in the double bed. A mobile ramp is also available at the entrance door.

Dogs are allowed on request.

Dreamlike

We spent a wonderful week in this amazing house. We particularly loved the décor, which was very tasteful. The garden was a dream. The location was absolutely quiet and we went on great hikes directly from the house. The terraces are perfect for relaxation and grilling, and the fireplace made the evenings cozy. We would love to come back. The Husheer and Neels families.
