A warm welcome to the beautiful island of Krk! Our lovingly furnished holiday home Margareta, awarded four stars, warmly welcomes you – available for exclusive use with space for up to ten people in total. Whether you prefer a more affordable partial booking or wish to rent the entire house, we have the right solution: Apartment 1 offers space for 4–6 people, Apartment 2 is intended for 2–4 guests, and together there is room for 8–10 people. The house is quietly and naturally situated at 200 meters above sea level in the picturesque villa settlement of Gornja Hlapa. Just a few minutes’ walk away, you will find the idyllic Soline Bay, which not only invites you to swim, but is also known for its healing mud. The iodine-rich sea air is especially beneficial for respiratory problems and rheumatism. At the same time, you benefit from the proximity to other beaches, hiking and cycling trails, as well as cultural highlights and local specialties.
Your holiday home features four bedrooms with comfortable double beds, two fully equipped bathrooms, and an additional guest WC on the ground floor. Two modern kitchens and two cozy living areas – one of them with a sofa bed – offer plenty of space for shared moments. Particularly noteworthy are the four terraces, including a magnificent rooftop terrace from which you can fully enjoy the panoramic view of the sparkling sea and the Velebit mountains. The private barbecue area invites you to sociable evenings, while the children can have fun in the play garden with trampoline, swing, and toys. There are parking spaces for up to five vehicles on the spacious property. As a warm welcome gift, we serve homemade aronia liqueur and slivovitz for the adults, while the children are greeted with freshly pressed fruit juices and water. For your reservation, you can flexibly choose your preferred period – during the high season, bookings are from Saturday to Saturday; in the pre- and post-season, you can arrange dates according to availability. After your non-binding inquiry, you secure your reservation with a deposit of 30%. You can conveniently pay the remaining amount upon your arrival. Please note that the final cleaning will be charged separately on site as a one-time fee.

Our two-family house Margareta – a four-star rated holiday home – is located at 200 m above sea level in a residential and villa area in the quiet village of Hlapa, in the municipality of Dobrinj on the island of Krk. Surrounded by green nature and only a few minutes from the beaches in Soline, Risika, Šilo and Klimno, our house is the ideal place for those seeking relaxation, nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Enjoy the special location with a fantastic sea view and an impressive panorama of the Velebit mountains. From our rooftop terrace, you will have an unforgettable view over the Kvarner Bay all the way to Rijeka, Opatija, and Crikvenica – a real highlight for nature lovers and romantics.
On our spacious property, there are enough parking spaces available for up to five vehicles. In just a few minutes you can reach the surrounding beaches – ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or walks along the coast. Sports enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth here: the region is perfect for hiking, cycling, or jogging.
The area also offers numerous cultural and culinary experiences – from local specialties to traditional festivals and sights. A special natural highlight is the nearby bay of Soline, known for its healing mud. This has a positive effect on joints and bones and is especially recommended for rheumatism. In addition, the iodine-rich and very salty sea climate is particularly beneficial for people with asthma or other respiratory diseases.

As soon as the deposit has been received, you will receive a reservation confirmation – and your desired date is bindingly and directly reserved with the private owner without intermediaries. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding mountains from our spacious rooftop terrace – the perfect place to experience stunning sunrises and sunsets. The terrace is fully equipped with a table, sun loungers, and sun umbrellas – ideal for relaxing.
In our extensive garden (980 m²), both adults and children will get their money's worth. Grill enthusiasts can demonstrate their skills at our large brick barbecue. For the little guests, there is a children's swing, a trampoline, a slide, as well as plenty of toys and space to romp and play.
The house was built in 2000 and partially renovated in 2025 to offer you even more comfort.

The location of the house is very good as it offers several options for beaches, the surroundings are very beautiful and quiet, optimal for relaxing. The service was also very good; you can have great conversations with the landlords, who are always helpful when you need something. The house is also very well equipped with large tables in the outdoor area for the whole family. There is also a wide selection of dining options. Overall, we would definitely want to come back. The only small drawback we had was the internet connection (but it wasn't bad).

Family vacation with the Jurkovic family at the Margareta holiday home Hlapa 1b.
It was beautiful and relaxing on the island of Krk, with a different place and beach every day, many excursions, barbecue evenings, and the children playing on the playground with neighboring children. It was a great experience for the kids, and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace with a glass of wine, enjoying the panoramic view and beautiful scenery of Rijeka and Opatija. The house was superbly furnished, clean, and had everything we needed. The landlords, as well as the children, were nice. We would love to come back again.

Top holiday flat
We had a very nice time in a fully equipped holiday flat. Hospitable and very nice hosts, one of the most beautiful roof terraces with a view of the sea and all situated in such a way that the most beautiful beaches in the area can be reached quickly. You can discover new individual beaches every day. Great restaurants and everyone is very friendly. We enjoyed every day here very much. Price performance is top! The kids had a blast - we'll be back!!!

Summer vacation 2021
Peter is an absolutely pleasant, likeable and courteous landlord/host. The booking and payment went smoothly. The house is equipped with everything you need to recover 100% and the location is great, as it is absolutely quiet in the village and the region has a stunning view from the roof terrace.
