Description

Our holiday home is quietly situated in the village of Norgaardholz with a large garden, terrace and a far-reaching view over the meadows and the evening sky
Relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life on our large lawn or on the nearby beach or dog beach, which you can reach via a private path in only 300m.

The house has 3 enclosed bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people and 3 dogs
They are welcome and stay free of charge.

Especially families with children will find a nice holiday place here

At this place you will find pure relaxation, for example on the west-facing covered terrace with a view of the sunset, or on the nearby natural beach which changes its face at any time and you may let dogs run off-leash on the dog beach.
From October to April you can also use the whole beach with your dogs and go for a wonderful walk
Just walk as far as your feet will take you.
For families with children, the beach is also particularly beautiful because it leads gently into the water and you can enjoy warm water early on.

Our house offers all comfort like washing machine and dryer as well as bath tub and guest Wc, showers in the tub!
The house is equipped with tiles and oak parquet in the living rooms
just have a look inside.

The small community of Norgaardholz belongs to Steinberg on the Gelting Bay.
Shopping facilities are available in nearby Steinbergkirche or in Gelting

You can shop in Flensburg, Kappeln or Eckernförde.

Our house is nestled in a picturesque hilly landscape in the climatic health resort and seaside resort of Norgaardholz.

The direct location on the Baltic Sea coast is simply indescribably quiet and beautiful.

The area around the village is characterised by unspoilt beaches, attractive moors and a natural environment that has remained untouched by man until today and invites you to hike and linger.
The long beaches offer optimal conditions for relaxing days with the whole family and are like a discovery tour through nature for children.

Starting from Norgaardholz, you can reach the most famous sights of the region in no time at all.

Active holidaymakers can rely on a dense network of various cycling and hiking trails in Norgaardholz.
One of the best-known cycle paths in northern Germany, the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Path, also runs through the holiday resort.
enchanted boardwalks lead across the moors and meadows of the Habernisser Au and are ideal for spending time in nature.
Norgaardholz was first mentioned in Danish history books in 1619.

Unlike many other places, Norgaardholz made the leap from an idyllic fishing village to a recognised climatic health resort and seaside resort on the Gelting Bay.

Directly on the beautiful beach of the village is a DLRG seaside resort, with a jetty and bathing island

At the natural beach Klevelücke you will find a children's playground and the dog beach, both of which are close to each other and therefore well suited for families with dogs.

Super accommodation

A very clean and lovingly furnished holiday home. We lacked nothing. There were small treats for both humans and dogs, making us feel immediately welcome. Any small problems or questions were responded to in no time. We can only recommend the holiday home.

Vacation with dog.

Very clean and appealing holiday home in a very good location! Only a few minutes to the Baltic Sea. The information on the website was completely accurate. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this place/holiday accommodation is perfect. The equipment of the property is very good! There are shopping facilities within four kilometers (Edeka, Aldi, etc.). By the way, Edeka has a top assortment! The price-performance ratio is very good. We would love to come back with our dog!

Successful restart of our girls' holidays

After a two-year break, we finally went on a girls' holiday again with the girls (daughters, granddaughters and dog).
In the pictures, the house looked very idyllic and the location very impressive. But, what are pictures?
But when we arrived, we immediately had the feeling that someone wasn't quite telling the truth here:
The house is even more inviting, more beautiful, more cosy than described in the pictures. Nothing was missing! And when I say nothing, I mean it. No matter what we wanted to cook, everything we needed was in the kitchen. The TV was superfluous for us. In the large living-dining room there was enough space for all of us to write, read or paint. And if you wanted to retreat, you still had two large bedrooms where that would have been possible.
Last but not least, the garden is a highlight: so wonderfully colourful, little things to discover everywhere. Lots of birds to watch from the living room window or from the terrace
And the way to the sea is really only a stone's throw away. And not just "a sea", but a beautiful beach that surprised you again and again.

Even though we didn't get to meet the nice landlady herself: the lovely welcome and the delicious samples (they sweetened our evenings and the coffee sweetened our mornings) were so nicely served. Many thanks for that, Mrs Hentschel.

Unfortunately we can only give five stars. I would have easily given a few more. If you have any doubts when you read the ad: get rid of them! I don't think a house can be any better!

Holidays with the highest feel-good factor!!!

This was a dream holiday for us. Everything was just right. The house is clean and well maintained. The rooms are super divided, so that you could also withdraw from time to time. The bedrooms are big enough. In the kitchen you could store everything you needed. And the equipment was top. Enough cutlery and crockery, as well as pots. The garden was big enough so that you could spend a lot of time in it. The dogs could be outside all day without having to worry about them getting away as everything is fenced. The partition to the front garden was also very nice. There was a small garden gate in between. We have also grown fond of Robbi (the mowing motor). It runs once or twice a day and during this time the dogs can stay outside because they get a transmitter on their collar that switches off the mowing function as soon as the dogs come near. This was a great experience for our Peaches.
For us it was immediately clear that we would rent this accommodation more often for our holidays. It is like coming home.
Also due to the super nice contact with the landlord. Absolutely helpful and always has a sympathetic ear if there is ever a problem.

Great holiday in a very nice house

We spent a wonderful week with our 3 dogs. For us, it is important that the property is well fenced and can also be fenced off from the road. Perfect to be relaxed in the garden (even with big dogs). The dog beach is a dream - natural beach with stones but long and plenty of space. The walk to the beach is also super short. The house is very well furnished (very lovingly). You feel like you are at home. The people are very nice. We will gladly come back.

Great holiday

Hello Hentschel family,
i'm sorry that it's taken us so long to write a review. But once the holiday is over, everyday life has already caught up with us again.
But now to our experiences. It is a very nice house. We found it clean and tidy. 4 stars for the furnishings, as the water setting for the shower was a bit complicated (I don't think there is an electrically operated instantaneous water heater yet). Otherwise a nice big bathroom. The rest of the rooms all nice and big and nicely furnished. The garden is great. The area is very quiet, you need a car for everything. But this did not bother us at all, because everywhere is short distances. The dog beach nearby had too many stones for us now that our dogs are old and can't balance the stones as well. It's great for young and agile dogs. We and our two dogs spent a wonderful week in your house and at the Baltic Sea. Everything was perfect for us. LG from Mönchengladbach from the Mertens family

A dream house!

We felt very comfortable in this house.
In terms of comfort and furnishings, a 1+ with a star. The dogs had fun too, as they could move freely in the garden.
The walk to the beach: a stone's throw. Also for dogs ;-D

Very well suited for a relaxing holiday
And if you need some action: Hansa Park is only about 2 hours away!

The only downside: you need a car for everything, as there were no shops in the village. Whether for shopping, for a pharmacy or even to get bread rolls at the bakery for breakfast. Therefore, for the location "only" 4 out of 5 stars.

We wish all other holidaymakers a pleasant time in the holiday home. It is worth it! :-)

Wunderbar

A lovingly and elaborately renovated house with high-quality furnishings where nothing is missing. A huge plot of land with a fantastic view over the fields where you can watch the deer and hares. Plenty of space for our multi-generational family with a wheelchair user and three dogs. And the contact with Mrs. Hentschel was very nice. We will come back.

Starry Meadow

We were very very enthusiastic. The house is a dream. Spacious, the furnishings very well coordinated and a lot of attention to detail. The garden is brilliant, the fencing, with dog and certainly with children, just great class.
The landlords are very very nice, the contact in advance was very good. Everything went absolutely smoothly!!!
WE CAN ONLY GIVE FULL MARKS, PLUS EXTRA STARS.

Time stands still

Here you can escape everyday life. The nearest town with shopping options is 4.5 km away. The dairy farmer is right next door and the milk is super delicious. If the weather is good, the large garden with terrace is beautiful and even the dairy cows are not disturbing. The beds were comfortable and we could travel to dreamland. With two cars, you could even drive onto the fenced property. The surroundings are very beautiful and perfect for hikers and cycling enthusiasts. But you could also experience a lot with a car. Dog parents and their pack also get their money's worth there, the dog beach is in a direct location, albeit somewhat rocky, but there are also some sandy beaches where the dog can romp around. The house is completely fenced in, so your four-legged friends or children cannot escape. The washing machine and dryer, as well as the clothesline, were perfect for us. This way we could drive home directly with clean laundry when leaving and the last vacation day at home could then be ended relaxed.

Definitely worth a visit.

beautiful big house with a large garden for our dogs

We were here probably at the most beautiful time of the year, only sun, warm water on the dog beach, and in a great big house where we lacked nothing. The garden is fenced and we could relax on the terrace while our dogs could find a cool spot in the bushes or play on the lawn. A large living room with a beautiful sofa corner invites you to read or relax even in bad weather, and above all the short walk to the dog beach, what more can be said? We loved it here and a big thanks to the Hentschel family for the uncomplicated booking, quick and easy. We can only recommend the house and will definitely come back.
